Today's Date: ======= Hosea 10:1 ============ Hos 10:1 Israel is a luxuriant vine; He produces fruit for himself. The more his fruit, The more altars he made; The richer his land, The better he made the sacred pillars. (nasb) Hos 10:1 Israel empties his vine; He brings forth fruit for himself. According to the multitude of his fruit He has increased the altars; According to the bounty of his land They have embellished his sacred pillars. (nkjv) Hos 10:1 Israel ist ein ausgebreiteter Weinstock, der seine Frucht trägt. Aber soviel Früchte er hatte, so viel Altäre hatte er gemacht; wo das Land am besten war, da stifteten sie die schönsten Bildsäulen.(dhs) Hos 10:1 ἄμπελος εὐκληματοῦσα Ισραηλ ὁ καρπὸς αὐτῆς εὐθηνῶν κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν καρπῶν αὐτοῦ ἐπλήθυνεν τὰ θυσιαστήρια κατὰ τὰ ἀγαθὰ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ ᾠκοδόμησεν στήλας (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:2 ============ Hos 10:2 Their heart is faithless; Now they must bear their guilt. The Lord will break down their altars And destroy their sacred pillars. (nasb) Hos 10:2 Their heart is divided; Now they are held guilty. He will break down their altars; He will ruin their sacred pillars. (nkjv) Hos 10:2 Ihr Herz ist zertrennt; nun wird sie ihre Schuld finden. Ihre Altäre sollen zerbrochen und ihre Bildsäulen sollen zerstört werden.(dhs) Hos 10:2 ἐμέρισαν καρδίας αὐτῶν νῦν ἀφανισθήσονται αὐτὸς κατασκάψει τὰ θυσιαστήρια αὐτῶν ταλαιπωρήσουσιν αἱ στῆλαι αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:3 ============ Hos 10:3 Surely now they will say, "We have no king, For we do not revere the Lord. As for the king, what can he do for us?" (nasb) Hos 10:3 For now they say, "We have no king, Because we did not fear the Lord. And as for a king, what would he do for us?" (nkjv) Hos 10:3 Alsdann müssen sie sagen: Wir haben keinen König, denn wir fürchteten den HERRN nicht; was kann uns der König nun helfen?(dhs) Hos 10:3 διότι νῦν ἐροῦσιν οὐκ ἔστιν βασιλεὺς ἡμῖν ὅτι οὐκ ἐφοβήθημεν τὸν κύριον ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς τί ποιήσει ἡμῖν (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:4 ============ Hos 10:4 They speak mere words, With worthless oaths they make covenants; And judgment sprouts like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field. (nasb) Hos 10:4 They have spoken words, Swearing falsely in making a covenant. Thus judgment springs up like hemlock in the furrows of the field. (nkjv) Hos 10:4 Sie reden und schwören vergeblich und machen einen Bund, und solcher Rat grünt auf allen Furchen im Felde wie giftiges Kraut.(dhs) Hos 10:4 λαλῶν ῥήματα προφάσεις ψευδεῖς διαθήσεται διαθήκην ἀνατελεῖ ὡς ἄγρωστις κρίμα ἐπὶ χέρσον ἀγροῦ (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:5 ============ Hos 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria will fear For the calf of Beth-aven. Indeed, its people will mourn for it, And its idolatrous priests will cry out over it, Over its glory, since it has departed from it. (nasb) Hos 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria fear Because of the calf of Beth Aven. For its people mourn for it, And its priests shriek for it-- Because its glory has departed from it. (nkjv) Hos 10:5 Die Einwohner zu Samaria sorgen um das Kalb zu Beth-Aven; denn sein Volk trauert darum, und seine Götzenpfaffen zittern seiner Herrlichkeit halben; denn sie wird von ihnen weggeführt.(dhs) Hos 10:5 τῷ μόσχῳ τοῦ οἴκου Ων παροικήσουσιν οἱ κατοικοῦντες Σαμάρειαν ὅτι ἐπένθησεν ὁ λαὸς αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν καὶ καθὼς παρεπίκραναν αὐτόν ἐπιχαροῦνται ἐπὶ τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ ὅτι μετῳκίσθη ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:6 ============ Hos 10:6 The thing itself will be carried to Assyria As tribute to King Jareb; Ephraim will be seized with shame And Israel will be ashamed of its own counsel. (nasb) Hos 10:6 The idol also shall be carried to Assyria As a present for King Jareb. Ephraim shall receive shame, And Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel. (nkjv) Hos 10:6 Ja, das Kalb wird nach Assyrien gebracht zum Geschenke dem König Jareb. Also muß Ephraim mit Schanden stehen und Israel schändlich gehen mit seinen Vornehmen.(dhs) Hos 10:6 καὶ αὐτὸν εἰς Ἀσσυρίους δήσαντες ἀπήνεγκαν ξένια τῷ βασιλεῖ Ιαριμ ἐν δόματι Εφραιμ δέξεται καὶ αἰσχυνθήσεται Ισραηλ ἐν τῇ βουλῇ αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:7 ============ Hos 10:7 Samaria will be cut off with her king Like a stick on the surface of the water. (nasb) Hos 10:7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off Like a twig on the water. (nkjv) Hos 10:7 Denn der König zu Samaria ist dahin wie ein Schaum auf dem Wasser.(dhs) Hos 10:7 ἀπέρριψεν Σαμάρεια βασιλέα αὐτῆς ὡς φρύγανον ἐπὶ προσώπου ὕδατος (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:8 ============ Hos 10:8 Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed; Thorn and thistle will grow on their altars; Then they will say to the mountains, "Cover us!" And to the hills, "Fall on us!" (nasb) Hos 10:8 Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, Shall be destroyed. The thorn and thistle shall grow on their altars; They shall say to the mountains, "Cover us!" And to the hills, "Fall on us!" (nkjv) Hos 10:8 Die Höhen zu Aven sind vertilgt, durch die sich Israel versündigte; Disteln und Dornen wachsen auf ihren Altären. Und sie werden sagen: Ihr Berge bedeckt uns! und: Ihr Hügel, fallt über uns!(dhs) Hos 10:8 καὶ ἐξαρθήσονται βωμοὶ Ων ἁμαρτήματα τοῦ Ισραηλ ἄκανθαι καὶ τρίβολοι ἀναβήσονται ἐπὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια αὐτῶν καὶ ἐροῦσιν τοῖς ὄρεσιν καλύψατε ἡμᾶς καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς πέσατε ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:9 ============ Hos 10:9 From the days of Gibeah you have sinned, O Israel; There they stand! Will not the battle against the sons of iniquity overtake them in Gibeah? (nasb) Hos 10:9 "O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah; There they stood. The battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity Did not overtake them. (nkjv) Hos 10:9 Israel, du hast seit der Zeit Gibeas gesündigt; dabei sind sie auch geblieben. Aber es soll sie ein Streit, nicht gleich dem zu Gibea, ergreifen, so wider die bösen Leute geschah;(dhs) Hos 10:9 ἀφ᾽ οὗ οἱ βουνοί ἥμαρτεν Ισραηλ ἐκεῖ ἔστησαν οὐ μὴ καταλάβῃ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ βουνῷ πόλεμος ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα ἀδικίας (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:10 ============ Hos 10:10 When it is My desire, I will chastise them; And the peoples will be gathered against them When they are bound for their double guilt. (nasb) Hos 10:10 When it is My desire, I will chasten them. Peoples shall be gathered against them When I bind them for their two transgressions. (nkjv) Hos 10:10 sondern ich will sie züchtigen nach meinem Wunsch, daß alle Völker sollen über sie versammelt kommen, wenn ich sie werde strafen um ihre zwei Sünden.(dhs) Hos 10:10 ἦλθεν παιδεῦσαι αὐτούς καὶ συναχθήσονται ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς λαοὶ ἐν τῷ παιδεύεσθαι αὐτοὺς ἐν ταῖς δυσὶν ἀδικίαις αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:11 ============ Hos 10:11 Ephraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh, But I will come over her fair neck with a yoke; I will harness Ephraim, Judah will plow, Jacob will harrow for himself. (nasb) Hos 10:11 Ephraim is a trained heifer That loves to thresh grain; But I harnessed her fair neck, I will make Ephraim pull a plow. Judah shall plow; Jacob shall break his clods." (nkjv) Hos 10:11 Ephraim ist ein Kalb, gewöhnt, daß man es gern drischt. Ich will ihm über seinen schönen Hals fahren; ich will Ephraim retten, Juda soll pflügen und Jakob eggen.(dhs) Hos 10:11 Εφραιμ δάμαλις δεδιδαγμένη ἀγαπᾶν νεῖκος ἐγὼ δὲ ἐπελεύσομαι ἐπὶ τὸ κάλλιστον τοῦ τραχήλου αὐτῆς ἐπιβιβῶ Εφραιμ καὶ παρασιωπήσομαι Ιουδαν ἐνισχύσει αὐτῷ Ιακωβ (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:12 ============ Hos 10:12 Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord Until He comes to rain righteousness on you. (nasb) Hos 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. (nkjv) Hos 10:12 Darum säet euch Gerechtigkeit und erntet Liebe; pflüget ein Neues, weil es Zeit ist, den HERRN zu suchen, bis daß er komme und lasse regnen über euch Gerechtigkeit.(dhs) Hos 10:12 σπείρατε ἑαυτοῖς εἰς δικαιοσύνην τρυγήσατε εἰς καρπὸν ζωῆς φωτίσατε ἑαυτοῖς φῶς γνώσεως ἐκζητήσατε τὸν κύριον ἕως τοῦ ἐλθεῖν γενήματα δικαιοσύνης ὑμῖν (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:13 ============ Hos 10:13 You have plowed wickedness, you have reaped injustice, You have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your way, in your numerous warriors, (nasb) Hos 10:13 You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, Because you trusted in your own way, In the multitude of your mighty men. (nkjv) Hos 10:13 Denn ihr pflüget Böses und erntet Übeltat und esset Lügenfrüchte.(dhs) Hos 10:13 ἵνα τί παρεσιωπήσατε ἀσέβειαν καὶ τὰς ἀδικίας αὐτῆς ἐτρυγήσατε ἐφάγετε καρπὸν ψευδῆ ὅτι ἤλπισας ἐν τοῖς ἅρμασίν σου ἐν πλήθει δυνάμεώς σου (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:14 ============ Hos 10:14 Therefore a tumult will arise among your people, And all your fortresses will be destroyed, As Shalman destroyed Beth-arbel on the day of battle, When mothers were dashed in pieces with their children. (nasb) Hos 10:14 Therefore tumult shall arise among your people, And all your fortresses shall be plundered As Shalman plundered Beth Arbel in the day of battle-- A mother dashed in pieces upon her children. (nkjv) Hos 10:14 Weil du dich denn verläßt auf dein Wesen und auf die Menge deiner Helden, so soll sich ein Getümmel erheben in deinem Volk, daß alle deine Festen verstört werden, gleichwie Salman verstörte das Haus Arbeels zur Zeit des Streits, da die Mutter samt den Kindern zu Trümmern ging.(dhs) Hos 10:14 καὶ ἐξαναστήσεται ἀπώλεια ἐν τῷ λαῷ σου καὶ πάντα τὰ περιτετειχισμένα σου οἰχήσεται ὡς ἄρχων Σαλαμαν ἐκ τοῦ οἴκου Ιεροβααλ ἐν ἡμέραις πολέμου μητέρα ἐπὶ τέκνοις ἠδάφισαν (lxx) ======= Hosea 10:15 ============ Hos 10:15 Thus it will be done to you at Bethel because of your great wickedness. At dawn the king of Israel will be completely cut off. (nasb) Hos 10:15 Thus it shall be done to you, O Bethel, Because of your great wickedness. At dawn the king of Israel Shall be cut off utterly. (nkjv) Hos 10:15 Ebenso soll's euch zu Beth-El auch gehen um eurer großen Bosheit willen, daß der König Israels frühmorgens untergehe.(dhs) Hos 10:15 οὕτως ποιήσω ὑμῖν οἶκος τοῦ Ισραηλ ἀπὸ προσώπου κακιῶν ὑμῶν ὄρθρου ἀπερρίφησαν ἀπερρίφη βασιλεὺς Ισραηλ (lxx) top of the page
