And why do your eyes flash, (nasb-1995) Job 15:12 τί ἐτόλμησεν ἡ καρδία σου ἢ τί ἐπήνεγκαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου (lxx) Job 15:12 Quid te elevat cor tuum, et quasi magna cogitans attonitos habes oculos?(Vulgate) Job 15:12 Was nimmt dein Herz vor? was siehst du so stolz?(dhs) 12 ׃15 מַה־יִּקָּחֲךָ֥ לִבֶּ֑ךָ וּֽמַה־יִּרְזְמ֥וּן עֵינֶֽיךָ׃ Job-(Hebrew) Job 15:12 Why does your heart carry you away, And what do your eyes wink at,(nkjv) ======= Job 15:13 ============ Job 15:13 That you should turn your spirit against God And allow such words to go out of your mouth?(nasb-1995) Job 15:13 ὅτι θυμὸν ἔρρηξας ἔναντι κυρίου ἐξήγαγες δὲ ἐκ στόματος ῥήματα τοιαῦτα (lxx) Job 15:13 Quid tumet contra Deum spiritus tuus, ut proferas de ore tuo hujuscemodi sermones?(Vulgate) Job 15:13 Was setzt sich dein Mut gegen Gott, daß du solche Reden aus deinem Munde lässest?(dhs) 13 ׃15 כִּֽי־תָשִׁ֣יב אֶל־אֵ֣ל רוּחֶ֑ךָ וְהֹצֵ֖אתָ מִפִּ֣יךָ מִלִּֽין׃ Job-(Hebrew) Job 15:13 That you turn your spirit against God, And let such words go out of your mouth?(nkjv) ======= Job 15:14 ============ Job 15:14 "What is man, that he should be pure, Or he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?(nasb-1995) Job 15:14 τίς γὰρ ὢν βροτός ὅτι ἔσται ἄμεμπτος ἢ ὡς ἐσόμενος δίκαιος γεννητὸς γυναικός (lxx) Job 15:14 Quid est homo ut immaculatus sit, et ut justus appareat natus de muliere?(Vulgate) Job 15:14 Was ist ein Mensch, daß er sollte rein sein, und daß er sollte gerecht sein, der von einem Weibe geboren ist?(dhs) 14 ׃15 מָֽה־אֱנ֥וֹשׁ כִּֽי־יִזְכֶּ֑ה וְכִֽי־יִ֝צְדַּ֗ק יְל֣וּד אִשָּֽׁה׃ Job-(Hebrew) Job 15:14 "What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous?(nkjv) ======= Job 15:15 ============ Job 15:15 "Behold, He puts no trust in His holy ones, And the heavens are not pure in His sight;(nasb-1995) Job 15:15 εἰ κατὰ ἁγίων οὐ πιστεύει οὐρανὸς δὲ οὐ καθαρὸς ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ (lxx) Job 15:15 Ecce inter sanctos ejus nemo immutabilis, et cæli non sunt mundi in conspectu ejus.(Vulgate) Job 15:15 Siehe, unter seinen Heiligen ist keiner ohne Tadel, und die im Himmel sind nicht rein vor ihm.(dhs) 15 ׃15 הֵ֣ן *בקדשו **בִּ֭קְדֹשָׁיו לֹ֣א יַאֲמִ֑ין וְ֝שָׁמַ֗יִם לֹא־זַכּ֥וּ בְעֵינָֽיו׃ Job-(Hebrew) Job 15:15 If God puts no trust in His saints, And the heavens are not pure in His sight,(nkjv) ======= Job 15:16 ============ Job 15:16 How much less one who is detestable and corrupt, Man, who drinks iniquity like water! He knows that a day of darkness is at hand.(nasb-1995) Job 15:23 κατατέτακται δὲ εἰς σῖτα γυψίν οἶδεν δὲ ἐν ἑαυτῷ ὅτι μένει εἰς πτῶμα ἡμέρα δὲ αὐτὸν σκοτεινὴ στροβήσει (lxx) Job 15:23 Cum se moverit ad quærendum panem, novit quod paratus sit in manu ejus tenebrarum dies.(Vulgate) Job 15:23 Er zieht hin und her nach Brot, und es dünkt ihn immer, die Zeit seines Unglücks sei vorhanden.(dhs) 23 ׃15 נֹ֘דֵ֤ד ה֣וּא לַלֶּ֣חֶם אַיֵּ֑ה יָדַ֓ע ׀ כִּֽי־נָכ֖וֹן בְּיָד֣וֹ יֽוֹם־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ Job-(Hebrew) Job 15:23 He wanders about for bread, saying, 'Where is it?'
