Now turn north,(nasb) Deu 2:3 Sufficit vobis circuire montem istum: ite contra aquilonem:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:3 Bastante habéis rodeado este monte; volveos al norte.(E) Deutéronome 2:3 Vous avez assez suivi les contours de cette montagne. Tournez-vous vers le nord.(F) Deu 2:3 Ihr habt dies Gebirge nun genug umzogen; wendet euch gegen Mitternacht.(D) Deu 2:3 ἱκανούσθω ὑμῖν κυκλοῦν τὸ ὄρος τοῦτο ἐπιστράφητε οὖν ἐπὶ βορρᾶν(lxx) Deu 2:3 'You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:4 ============ Deu 2:4 and command the people, saying, "You will pass through the territory of your brothers the sons of Esau who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. So be very careful;(nasb) Deu 2:4 et populo præcipe, dicens: Transibitis per terminos fratrum vestrorum filiorum Esau, qui habitant in Seir, et timebunt vos.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:4 Y manda al pueblo, diciendo: Pasando vosotros por el territorio de vuestros hermanos, los hijos de Esaú, que habitan en Seir, ellos tendrán miedo de vosotros; mas vosotros guardaos mucho:(E) Deutéronome 2:4 Donne cet ordre au peuple: Vous allez passer à la frontière de vos frères, les enfants d'Esaü, qui habitent en Séir. Ils vous craindront; mais soyez bien sur vos gardes.(F) Deu 2:4 Und gebiete dem Volk und sprich: ihr werdet durch das Land eurer Brüder, der Kinder Esau, ziehen, die zu Seir wohnen; und sie werden sich vor euch fürchten. Aber verwahrt euch mit Fleiß,(D) Deu 2:4 καὶ τῷ λαῷ ἔντειλαι λέγων ὑμεῖς παραπορεύεσθε διὰ τῶν ὁρίων τῶν ἀδελφῶν ὑμῶν υἱῶν Ησαυ οἳ κατοικοῦσιν ἐν Σηιρ καὶ φοβηθήσονται ὑμᾶς καὶ εὐλαβηθήσονται ὑμᾶς σφόδρα(lxx) Deu 2:4 And command the people, saying, "You are about to pass through the territory of your brethren, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore watch yourselves carefully.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:5 ============ Deu 2:5 do not provoke them, for I will not give you any of their land, even as little as a footstep because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.(nasb) Deu 2:5 Videte ergo diligenter ne moveamini contra eos. Neque enim dabo vobis de terra eorum quantum potest unius pedis calcare vestigium, quia in possessionem Esau dedi montem Seir.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:5 No os metáis con ellos; que no os daré de su tierra ni aun el ancho de la planta de un pie; porque yo he dado por heredad a Esaú el monte de Seir.(E) Deutéronome 2:5 Ne les attaquez pas; car je ne vous donnerai dans leur pays pas même de quoi poser la plante du pied: j'ai donné la montagne de Séir en propriété à Esaü.(F) Deu 2:5 daß ihr sie nicht bekrieget; denn ich werde euch ihres Landes nicht einen Fußbreit geben; denn das Gebirge Seir habe ich den Kindern Esau zu besitzen gegeben.(D) Deu 2:5 μὴ συνάψητε πρὸς αὐτοὺς πόλεμον οὐ γὰρ μὴ δῶ ὑμῖν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν οὐδὲ βῆμα ποδός ὅτι ἐν κλήρῳ δέδωκα τοῖς υἱοῖς Ησαυ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σηιρ(lxx) Deu 2:5 Do not meddle with them, for I will not give you any of their land, no, not so much as one footstep, because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:6 ============ Deu 2:6 You shall buy food from them with money so that you may eat, and you shall also purchase water from them with money so that you may drink.(nasb) Deu 2:6 Cibos emetis ab eis pecunia, et comedetis: aquam emptam haurietis, et bibetis.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:6 Compraréis de ellos por dinero los alimentos, y comeréis; y también compraréis de ellos por dinero el agua, y beberéis;(E) Deutéronome 2:6 Vous achèterez d'eux à prix d'argent la nourriture que vous mangerez, et vous achèterez d'eux à prix d'argent même l'eau que vous boirez.(F) Deu 2:6 Speise sollt ihr um Geld von ihnen kaufen, daß ihr esset, und Wasser sollt ihr um Geld von ihnen kaufen, daß ihr trinket.(D) Deu 2:6 βρώματα ἀργυρίου ἀγοράσατε παρ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ φάγεσθε καὶ ὕδωρ μέτρῳ λήμψεσθε παρ᾽ αὐτῶν ἀργυρίου καὶ πίεσθε(lxx) Deu 2:6 You shall buy food from them with money, that you may eat; and you shall also buy water from them with money, that you may drink.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:7 ============ Deu 2:7 For the Lord your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing."'(nasb) Deu 2:7 Dominus Deus tuus benedixit tibi in omni opere manuum tuarum: novit iter tuum, quomodo transieris solitudinem hanc magnam, per quadraginta annos habitans tecum Dominus Deus tuus, et nihil tibi defuit.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:7 pues Jehová tu Dios te ha bendecido en toda la obra de tus manos; Él conoce tu caminar por este gran desierto; estos cuarenta años Jehová tu Dios ha estado contigo; nada te ha faltado.(E) Deutéronome 2:7 Car l'Eternel, ton Dieu, t'a béni dans tout le travail de tes mains, il a connu ta marche dans ce grand désert. Voilà quarante années que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, est avec toi: tu n'as manqué de rien.(F) Deu 2:7 Denn der HERR, dein Gott, hat dich gesegnet in allen Werken deiner Hände. Er hat dein Reisen durch diese große Wüste zu Herzen genommen, und vierzig Jahre ist der HERR, dein Gott, bei dir gewesen, daß dir nichts gemangelt hat.(D) Deu 2:7 ὁ γὰρ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν εὐλόγησέν σε ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ τῶν χειρῶν σου διάγνωθι πῶς διῆλθες τὴν ἔρημον τὴν μεγάλην καὶ τὴν φοβερὰν ἐκείνην ἰδοὺ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη κύριος ὁ θεός σου μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἐπεδεήθης ῥήματος(lxx) Deu 2:7 For the Lord your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing." '(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:8 ============ Deu 2:8 "So we passed beyond our brothers the sons of Esau, who live in Seir, away from the Arabah road, away from Elath and from Ezion-geber. And we turned and passed through by the way of the wilderness of Moab.(nasb) Deu 2:8 Cumque transissemus fratres nostros filios Esau, qui habitabant in Seir, per viam campestrem de Elath, et de Asiongaber, venimus ad iter quod ducit in desertum Moab.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:8 Y pasamos de nuestros hermanos, los hijos de Esaú que habitaban en Seir, por el camino de la llanura de Elat y de Ezión-geber. Y volvimos, y pasamos camino del desierto de Moab.(E) Deutéronome 2:8 Nous passâmes à distance de nos frères, les enfants d'Esaü, qui habitent en Séir, et à distance du chemin de la plaine, d'Elath et d'Etsjon-Guéber, puis nous nous tournâmes, et nous prîmes la direction du désert de Moab.(F) Deu 2:8 Da wir nun vor unsern Brüdern, den Kindern Esau, weitergezogen waren, die auf dem Gebirge Seir wohnten, auf dem Wege des Gefildes von Elath und Ezeon-Geber, wandten wir uns und gingen durch den Weg der Wüste der Moabiter.(D) Deu 2:8 καὶ παρήλθομεν τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἡμῶν υἱοὺς Ησαυ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Σηιρ παρὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν Αραβα ἀπὸ Αιλων καὶ ἀπὸ Γασιωνγαβερ καὶ ἐπιστρέψαντες παρήλθομεν ὁδὸν ἔρημον Μωαβ(lxx) Deu 2:8 "And when we passed beyond our brethren, the descendants of Esau who dwell in Seir, away from the road of the plain, away from Elath and Ezion Geber, we turned and passed by way of the Wilderness of Moab.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:9 ============ Deu 2:9 Then the Lord said to me, 'Do not harass Moab, nor provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I have given Ar to the sons of Lot as a possession.'(nasb) Deu 2:9 Dixitque Dominus ad me: Non pugnes contra Moabitas, nec ineas adversus eos prælium: non enim dabo tibi quidquam de terra eorum, quia filiis Loth tradidi Ar in possessionem.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:9 Y Jehová me dijo: No molestes a Moab, ni te empeñes con ellos en guerra, pues no te daré posesión de su tierra; porque yo he dado a Ar por heredad a los hijos de Lot.(E) Deutéronome 2:9 L'Eternel me dit: N'attaque pas Moab, et ne t'engage pas dans un combat avec lui; car je ne te donnerai rien à posséder dans son pays: c'est aux enfants de Lot que j'ai donné Ar en propriété.(F) Deu 2:9 Da sprach der HERR zu mir: Du sollst den Moabitern nicht Schaden tun noch sie bekriegen; denn ich will dir ihres Landes nichts zu besitzen geben; denn ich habe Ar den Kindern Lot zu besitzen gegeben.(D) Deu 2:9 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με μὴ ἐχθραίνετε τοῖς Μωαβίταις καὶ μὴ συνάψητε πρὸς αὐτοὺς πόλεμον οὐ γὰρ μὴ δῶ ὑμῖν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν ἐν κλήρῳ τοῖς γὰρ υἱοῖς Λωτ δέδωκα τὴν Σηιρ κληρονομεῖν(lxx) Deu 2:9 Then the Lord said to me, 'Do not harass Moab, nor contend with them in battle, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession.' "(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:10 ============ Deu 2:10 (The Emim lived there formerly, a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim.(nasb) Deu 2:10 Emim primi fuerunt habitatores ejus, populus magnus, et validus, et tam excelsus ut de Enacim stirpe,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:10 (Allí habitaron antes los emitas, pueblo grande y numeroso, y alto como los anaceos;(E) Deutéronome 2:10 Les Emim y habitaient auparavant; c'était un peuple grand, nombreux et de haute taille, comme les Anakim.(F) Deu 2:10 (Die Emiter haben vorzeiten darin gewohnt; das war ein großes, starkes und hohes Volk wie die Enakiter.(D) Deu 2:10 οἱ Ομμιν πρότεροι ἐνεκάθηντο ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἔθνος μέγα καὶ πολὺ καὶ ἰσχύοντες ὥσπερ οἱ Ενακιμ(lxx) Deu 2:10 (The Emim had dwelt there in times past, a people as great and numerous and tall as the Anakim.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:11 ============ Deu 2:11 Like the Anakim, they are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim.(nasb) Deu 2:11 quasi gigantes crederentur, et essent similes filiorum Enacim. So we crossed over the Valley of the Zered.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:14 ============ Deu 2:14 Now the time that it took for us to come from Kadesh-barnea until we crossed over the brook Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war perished from within the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them.(nasb) Deu 2:14 Tempus autem, quo ambulavimus de Cadesbarne usque ad transitum torrentis Zared, triginta et octo annorum fuit: donec consumeretur omnis generatio hominum bellatorum de castris, sicut juraverat Dominus:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:14 Y el tiempo que anduvimos de Cades-barnea hasta que pasamos el arroyo de Zered, fue de treinta y ocho años; hasta que se acabó toda la generación de los hombres de guerra de en medio del campamento, como Jehová les había jurado.(E) Deutéronome 2:14 Le temps que durèrent nos marches de Kadès-Barnéa au passage du torrent de Zéred fut de trente-huit ans, jusqu'à ce que toute la génération des hommes de guerre eût disparu du milieu du camp, comme l'Eternel le leur avait juré.(F) Deu 2:14 Die Zeit aber, die wir von Kades-Barnea zogen, bis wir durch den Bach Sered kamen, war achtunddreißig Jahre, bis alle die Kriegsleute gestorben waren im lager, wie der HERR ihnen geschworen hatte.(D) Deu 2:14 καὶ αἱ ἡμέραι ἃς παρεπορεύθημεν ἀπὸ Καδης Βαρνη ἕως οὗ παρήλθομεν τὴν φάραγγα Ζαρετ τριάκοντα καὶ ὀκτὼ ἔτη ἕως οὗ διέπεσεν πᾶσα γενεὰ ἀνδρῶν πολεμιστῶν ἀποθνῄσκοντες ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς καθότι ὤμοσεν αὐτοῖς ὁ θεός(lxx) Deu 2:14 And the time we took to come from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Valley of the Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, just as the Lord had sworn to them.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:15 ============ Deu 2:15 Moreover the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from within the camp until they all perished.(nasb) Deu 2:15 cujus manus fuit adversum eos, ut interirent de castrorum medio.~(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:15 Y también la mano de Jehová fue contra ellos para destruirlos de en medio del campamento, hasta acabarlos.(E) Deutéronome 2:15 La main de l'Eternel fut aussi sur eux pour les détruire du milieu du camp, jusqu'à ce qu'ils eussent disparu.(F) Deu 2:15 Dazu war auch die Hand des HERRN wider sie, daß sie umkämen aus dem Lager, bis daß ihrer ein Ende würde.(D) Deu 2:15 καὶ ἡ χεὶρ τοῦ θεοῦ ἦν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς ἐξαναλῶσαι αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς ἕως οὗ διέπεσαν(lxx) Deu 2:15 For indeed the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp until they were consumed.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:16 ============ Deu 2:16 "So it came about when all the men of war had finally perished from among the people,(nasb) Deu 2:16 Postquam autem universi ceciderunt pugnatores,(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:16 Y aconteció que cuando todos los hombres de guerra se acabaron y perecieron de entre el pueblo,(E) Deutéronome 2:16 Lorsque tous les hommes de guerre eurent disparu par la mort du milieu du peuple,(F) Deu 2:16 Und da aller der Kriegsleute ein Ende war und sie gestorben waren unter dem Volk,(D) Deu 2:16 καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐπεὶ διέπεσαν πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ πολεμισταὶ ἀποθνῄσκοντες ἐκ μέσου τοῦ λαοῦ(lxx) Deu 2:16 "So it was, when all the men of war had finally perished from among the people,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:17 ============ Deu 2:17 that the Lord spoke to me, saying,(nasb) Deu 2:17 locutus est Dominus ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:17 Jehová me habló, diciendo:(E) Deutéronome 2:17 l'Eternel me parla, et dit:(F) Deu 2:17 redete der HERR mit mir und sprach:(D) Deu 2:17 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρός με λέγων(lxx) Deu 2:17 that the Lord spoke to me, saying:(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:18 ============ Deu 2:18 'Today you shall cross over Ar, the border of Moab.(nasb) Deu 2:18 Tu transibis hodie terminos Moab, urbem nomine Ar:(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:18 Tú pasarás hoy el término de Moab, a Ar,(E) Deutéronome 2:18 Tu passeras aujourd'hui la frontière de Moab, à Ar,(F) Deu 2:18 Du wirst heute durch das Gebiet der Moabiter ziehen bei Ar(D) Deu 2:18 σὺ παραπορεύσῃ σήμερον τὰ ὅρια Μωαβ τὴν Σηιρ(lxx) Deu 2:18 'This day you are to cross over at Ar, the boundary of Moab.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 2:19 ============ Deu 2:19 When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not harass them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.'(nasb) Deu 2:19 et accedens in vicina filiorum Ammon, cave ne pugnes contra eos, nec movearis ad prælium: non enim dabo tibi de terra filiorum Ammon, quia filiis Loth dedi eam in possessionem.(vulgate) Deuteronomio 2:19 y cuando te acerques a los hijos de Amón; no los molestes, ni te metas con ellos; pues no te daré posesión de la tierra de los hijos de Amón; porque a los hijos de Lot la he dado por heredad.(E) Deutéronome 2:19 et tu approcheras des enfants d'Ammon. Ne les attaque pas, et ne t'engage pas dans un combat avec eux; car je ne te donnerai rien à posséder dans le pays des enfants d'Ammon: c'est aux enfants de Lot que je l'ai donné en propriété.(F) Deu 2:19 und wirst nahe kommen gegen die Kinder Ammon.
