Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son's name? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, If you know?(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:5 ============ Pro 30:5 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.(nasb) Pro 30:5 Omnis sermo Dei ignitus: clypeus est sperantibus in se.(vulgate) Proverbios 30:5 Toda palabra de Dios [es] pura; es escudo a los que en Él esperan.(E) Proverbes 30:5 Toute parole de Dieu est éprouvée. No me des pobreza ni riquezas; mantenme del pan necesario;(E) Proverbes 30:8 Eloigne de moi la fausseté et la parole mensongère; Ne me donne ni pauvreté, ni richesse, Accorde-moi le pain qui m'est nécessaire.(F) Pro 30:8 Abgötterei und Lüge laß ferne von mir sein; Armut und Reichtum gib mir nicht, laß mich aber mein bescheiden Teil Speise dahinnehmen.(D) Pro 30:8 μάταιον λόγον καὶ ψευδῆ μακράν μου ποίησον πλοῦτον δὲ καὶ πενίαν μή μοι δῷς σύνταξον δέ μοι τὰ δέοντα καὶ τὰ αὐτάρκη(lxx) Pro 30:8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches-- Feed me with the food allotted to me;(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:9 ============ Pro 30:9 That I not be full and deny You and say, "Who is the Lord?" Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:10 ============ Pro 30:10 Do not slander a slave to his master, Or he will curse you and you will be found guilty.(nasb) Pro 30:10 Ne accuses servum ad dominum suum, ne forte maledicat tibi, et corruas.]~(vulgate) Proverbios 30:10 No acuses al siervo ante su señor, no sea que te maldiga, y seas hallado culpable.(E) Proverbes 30:10 Ne calomnie pas un serviteur auprès de son maître, De peur qu'il ne te maudisse et que tu ne te rendes coupable.(F) Pro 30:10 Verleumde den Knecht nicht bei seinem Herrn, daß er dir nicht fluche und du die Schuld tragen müssest.(D) Pro 30:10 μὴ παραδῷς οἰκέτην εἰς χεῖρας δεσπότου μήποτε καταράσηταί σε καὶ ἀφανισθῇς(lxx) Pro 30:10 Do not malign a servant to his master, Lest he curse you, and you be found guilty.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:11 ============ Pro 30:11 There is a kind of man who curses his father And does not bless his mother.(nasb) Pro 30:11 [Generatio quæ patri suo maledicit, et quæ matri suæ non benedicit;(vulgate) Proverbios 30:11 [Hay] generación que maldice a su padre, y a su madre no bendice.(E) Proverbes 30:11 Il est une race qui maudit son père, Et qui ne bénit point sa mère.(F) Pro 30:11 Es ist eine Art, die ihrem Vater flucht und ihre Mutter nicht segnet;(D) Pro 30:11 ἔκγονον κακὸν πατέρα καταρᾶται τὴν δὲ μητέρα οὐκ εὐλογεῖ(lxx) Pro 30:11 There is a generation that curses its father, And does not bless its mother.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:12 ============ Pro 30:12 There is a kind who is pure in his own eyes, Yet is not washed from his filthiness.(nasb) Pro 30:12 generatio quæ sibi munda videtur, et tamen non est lota a sordibus suis;(vulgate) Proverbios 30:12 [Hay] generación limpia en su propia opinión, si bien no se ha limpiado de su inmundicia.(E) Proverbes 30:12 Il est une race qui se croit pure, Et qui n'est pas lavée de sa souillure.(F) Pro 30:12 eine Art, die sich rein dünkt, und ist doch von ihrem Kot nicht gewaschen;(D) Pro 30:12 ἔκγονον κακὸν δίκαιον ἑαυτὸν κρίνει τὴν δὲ ἔξοδον αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἀπένιψεν(lxx) Pro 30:12 There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:13 ============ Pro 30:13 There is a kind--oh how lofty are his eyes! And their eyelids are lifted up.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:14 ============ Pro 30:14 There is a kind of man whose teeth are like swords And his jaw teeth like knives, To devour the afflicted from the earth And the needy from among men.(nasb) Pro 30:14 generatio quæ pro dentibus gladios habet, et commandit molaribus suis, ut comedat inopes de terra, et pauperes ex hominibus.(vulgate) Proverbios 30:14 [Hay] generación cuyos dientes son espadas, y sus muelas cuchillos, para devorar a los pobres de la tierra, y a los menesterosos de entre los hombres.(E) Proverbes 30:14 Il est une race dont les dents sont des glaives Et les mâchoires des couteaux, Pour dévorer le malheureux sur la terre Et les indigents parmi les hommes.(F) Pro 30:14 eine Art, die Schwerter für Zähne hat und Messer für Backenzähne und verzehrt die Elenden im Lande und die Armen unter den Leuten.(D) Pro 30:14 ἔκγονον κακὸν μαχαίρας τοὺς ὀδόντας ἔχει καὶ τὰς μύλας τομίδας ὥστε ἀναλίσκειν καὶ κατεσθίειν τοὺς ταπεινοὺς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς καὶ τοὺς πένητας αὐτῶν ἐξ ἀνθρώπων(lxx) Pro 30:14 There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, And whose fangs are like knives, To devour the poor from off the earth, And the needy from among men.(nkjv) ======= Proverbs 30:15 ============ Pro 30:15 The leech has two daughters, "Give," "Give." There are three things that will not be satisfied, Four that will not say, "Enough":(nasb) Pro 30:15 Sanguisugæ duæ sunt filiæ, dicentes: Affer, affer.
