Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 10:1 ============ Eze 10:1 Then I looked, and behold, in the expanse that was over the heads of the cherubim something like a sapphire stone, in appearance resembling a throne, appeared above them.(nasb) Eze 10:1 Et vidi: et ecce in firmamento quod erat super caput cherubim, quasi lapis sapphirus, quasi species similitudinis solii, apparuit super ea.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:1 Y miré, y he aquí en el firmamento que estaba sobre las cabezas de los querubines, apareció sobre ellos como una piedra de zafiro, de apariencia semejante a un trono.(E) Ézéchiel 10:1 Je regardai, et voici, sur le ciel qui était au-dessus de la tête des chérubins, il y avait comme une pierre de saphir; on voyait au-dessus d'eux quelque chose de semblable à une forme de trône.(F) Eze 10:1 Und ich sah, und siehe, an dem Himmel über dem Haupt der Cherubim war es gestaltet wie ein Saphir, und über ihnen war es gleich anzusehen wie ein Thron.(D) Eze 10:1 καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐπάνω τοῦ στερεώματος τοῦ ὑπὲρ κεφαλῆς τῶν χερουβιν ὡς λίθος σαπφείρου ὁμοίωμα θρόνου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν(lxx) Eze 10:1 And I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:2 ============ Eze 10:2 And He spoke to the man clothed in linen and said, "Enter between the whirling wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim and scatter them over the city." And he entered in my sight.(nasb) Eze 10:2 Et dixit ad virum qui indutus erat lineis, et ait: Ingredere in medio rotarum quæ sunt subtus cherubim, et imple manum tuam prunis ignis quæ sunt inter cherubim, et effunde super civitatem. Ingressusque est in conspectu meo.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:2 Y habló al varón vestido de lino, y le dijo: Entra en medio de las ruedas debajo de los querubines, y llena tus manos con carbones encendidos de entre los querubines, y espárcelos sobre la ciudad. Y él entró a vista mía.(E) Ézéchiel 10:2 Et l'Eternel dit à l'homme vêtu de lin: Va entre les roues sous les chérubins, remplis tes mains de charbons ardents que tu prendras entre les chérubins, et répands-les sur la ville! Et il y alla devant mes yeux.(F) Eze 10:2 Und er sprach zu dem Mann in der Leinwand: Gehe hin zwischen die Räder unter den Cherub und fasse die Hände voll glühender Kohlen, so zwischen den Cherubim sind, und streue sie über die Stadt. Und er ging hinein, daß ich's sah, da er hineinging.(D) Eze 10:2 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὴν στολήν εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ μέσον τῶν τροχῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω τῶν χερουβιν καὶ πλῆσον τὰς δράκας σου ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἐκ μέσου τῶν χερουβιν καὶ διασκόρπισον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν καὶ εἰσῆλθεν ἐνώπιόν μου(lxx) Eze 10:2 Then He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, "Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city." And he went in as I watched.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:3 ============ Eze 10:3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the temple when the man entered, and the cloud filled the inner court.(nasb) Eze 10:3 Cherubim autem stabant a dextris domus cum ingrederetur vir, et nubes implevit atrium interius.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:3 Y los querubines estaban a la mano derecha de la casa cuando este varón entró; y la nube llenaba el atrio de adentro.(E) Ézéchiel 10:3 Les chérubins étaient à la droite de la maison, quand l'homme alla, et la nuée remplit le parvis intérieur.(F) Eze 10:3 Die Cherubim aber standen zur Rechten am Hause, und die Wolke erfüllte den innern Vorhof.(D) Eze 10:3 καὶ τὰ χερουβιν εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ οἴκου ἐν τῷ εἰσπορεύεσθαι τὸν ἄνδρα καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἔπλησεν τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν ἐσωτέραν(lxx) Eze 10:3 Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:4 ============ Eze 10:4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub to the threshold of the temple, and the temple was filled with the cloud and the court was filled with the brightness of the glory of the Lord.(nasb) Eze 10:4 Et elevata est gloria Domini desuper cherub ad limen domus: et repleta est domus nube, et atrium repletum est splendore gloriæ Domini.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:4 Y la gloria de Jehová se levantó del querubín al umbral de la puerta; y la casa fue llena de la nube, y el atrio se llenó del resplandor de la gloria de Jehová.(E) Ézéchiel 10:4 La gloire de l'Eternel s'éleva de dessus les chérubins, et se dirigea vers le seuil de la maison; la maison fut remplie de la nuée, et le parvis fut rempli de la splendeur de la gloire de l'Eternel.(F) Eze 10:4 Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erhob sich von dem Cherub zur Schwelle am Hause; und das Haus ward erfüllt mit der Wolke und der Vorhof voll Glanzes von der Herrlichkeit des HERRN.(D) Eze 10:4 καὶ ἀπῆρεν ἡ δόξα κυρίου ἀπὸ τῶν χερουβιν εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἔπλησεν τὸν οἶκον ἡ νεφέλη καὶ ἡ αὐλὴ ἐπλήσθη τοῦ φέγγους τῆς δόξης κυρίου(lxx) Eze 10:4 Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:5 ============ Eze 10:5 Moreover, the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when He speaks.(nasb) Eze 10:5 Et sonitus alarum cherubim audiebatur usque ad atrium exterius, quasi vox Dei omnipotentis loquentis.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:5 Y el estruendo de las alas de los querubines se oía [hasta] el atrio de afuera, como la voz del Dios Omnipotente cuando habla.(E) Ézéchiel 10:5 Le bruit des ailes des chérubins se fit entendre jusqu'au parvis extérieur, pareil à la voix du Dieu tout-puissant lorsqu'il parle.(F) Eze 10:5 Und man hörte die Flügel der Cherubim rauschen bis in den äußeren Vorhof wie eine mächtige Stimme des allmächtigen Gottes, wenn er redet.(D) Eze 10:5 καὶ φωνὴ τῶν πτερύγων τῶν χερουβιν ἠκούετο ἕως τῆς αὐλῆς τῆς ἐξωτέρας ὡς φωνὴ θεοῦ Σαδδαι λαλοῦντος(lxx) Eze 10:5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:6 ============ Eze 10:6 It came about when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from between the whirling wheels, from between the cherubim," he entered and stood beside a wheel.(nasb) Eze 10:6 Cumque præcepisset viro qui indutus erat lineis, dicens: Sume ignem de medio rotarum quæ sunt inter cherubim: ingressus ille stetit juxta rotam.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:6 Y aconteció que, cuando mandó al varón vestido de lino, diciendo: Toma fuego de entre las ruedas, de entre los querubines, él entró, y se paró entre las ruedas.(E) Ézéchiel 10:6 Ainsi l'Eternel donna cet ordre à l'homme vêtu de lin: Prends du feu entre les roues, entre les chérubins! Et cet homme alla se placer près des roues.(F) Eze 10:6 Und da er dem Mann in der Leinwand geboten hatte und gesagt: Nimm Feuer zwischen den Rädern unter den Cherubim! ging er hinein und trat neben das Rad.(D) Eze 10:6 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐντέλλεσθαι αὐτὸν τῷ ἀνδρὶ τῷ ἐνδεδυκότι τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν λέγων λαβὲ πῦρ ἐκ μέσου τῶν τροχῶν ἐκ μέσου τῶν χερουβιν καὶ εἰσῆλθεν καὶ ἔστη ἐχόμενος τῶν τροχῶν(lxx) Eze 10:6 Then it happened, when He commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, "Take fire from among the wheels, from among the cherubim," that he went in and stood beside the wheels.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:7 ============ Eze 10:7 Then the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire which was between the cherubim, took some and put it into the hands of the one clothed in linen, who took it and went out.(nasb) Eze 10:7 Et extendit cherub manum de medio cherubim ad ignem qui erat inter cherubim, et sumpsit, et dedit in manus ejus qui indutus erat lineis: qui accipiens egressus est.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:7 Y [un] querubín extendió su mano de entre los querubines al fuego que [estaba] entre los querubines, y tomó, y puso en las manos [del que estaba] vestido de lino, el cual [lo] tomó y se salió.(E) Ézéchiel 10:7 Alors un chérubin étendit la main entre les chérubins vers le feu qui était entre les chérubins; il en prit, et le mit dans les mains de l'homme vêtu de lin. Et cet homme le prit, et sortit.(F) Eze 10:7 Und der Cherub streckte seine Hand heraus zwischen den Cherubim zum Feuer, das zwischen den Cherubim war, nahm davon und gab's dem Mann in der Leinwand in die Hände; der empfing's und ging hinaus.(D) Eze 10:7 καὶ ἐξέτεινεν τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ εἰς μέσον τοῦ πυρὸς τοῦ ὄντος ἐν μέσῳ τῶν χερουβιν καὶ ἔλαβεν καὶ ἔδωκεν εἰς τὰς χεῖρας τοῦ ἐνδεδυκότος τὴν στολὴν τὴν ἁγίαν καὶ ἔλαβεν καὶ ἐξῆλθεν(lxx) Eze 10:7 And the cherub stretched out his hand from among the cherubim to the fire that was among the cherubim, and took some of it and put it into the hands of the man clothed with linen, who took it and went out.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:8 ============ Eze 10:8 The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings.(nasb) Eze 10:8 Et apparuit in cherubim similitudo manus hominis subtus pennas eorum.~(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:8 Y apareció en los querubines la figura de una mano de hombre debajo de sus alas.(E) Ézéchiel 10:8 On voyait aux chérubins une forme de main d'homme sous leurs ailes.(F) Eze 10:8 Und es erschien an den Cherubim gleichwie eines Menschen Hand unter ihren Flügeln.(D) Eze 10:8 καὶ εἶδον τὰ χερουβιν ὁμοίωμα χειρῶν ἀνθρώπων ὑποκάτωθεν τῶν πτερύγων αὐτῶν(lxx) Eze 10:8 The cherubim appeared to have the form of a man's hand under their wings.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:9 ============ Eze 10:9 Then I looked, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like the gleam of a Tarshish stone.(nasb) Eze 10:9 Et vidi: et ecce quatuor rotæ juxta cherubim: rota una juxta cherub unum, et rota alia juxta cherub unum: species autem rotarum erat quasi visio lapidis chrysolithi:(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:9 Y miré, y he aquí cuatro ruedas junto a los querubines, una rueda junto a un querubín, y otra rueda junto a otro querubín; y el aspecto de las ruedas [era] como la piedra de berilo.(E) Ézéchiel 10:9 Je regardai, et voici, il y avait quatre roues près des chérubins, une roue près de chaque chérubin; et ces roues avaient l'aspect d'une pierre de chrysolithe.(F) Eze 10:9 Und ich sah, und siehe, vier Räder standen bei den Cherubim, bei einem jeglichen Cherub ein Rad; und die Räder waren anzusehen gleichwie ein Türkis(D) Eze 10:9 καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ τροχοὶ τέσσαρες εἱστήκεισαν ἐχόμενοι τῶν χερουβιν τροχὸς εἷς ἐχόμενος χερουβ ἑνός καὶ ἡ ὄψις τῶν τροχῶν ὡς ὄψις λίθου ἄνθρακος(lxx) Eze 10:9 And when I looked, there were four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub and another wheel by each other cherub; the wheels appeared to have the color of a beryl stone.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:10 ============ Eze 10:10 As for their appearance, all four of them had the same likeness, as if one wheel were within another wheel.(nasb) Eze 10:10 et aspectus earum similitudo una quatuor, quasi sit rota in medio rotæ.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:10 [En cuanto] al parecer de ellas, las cuatro eran de una forma, como si una rueda estuviera en medio de [otra] rueda.(E) Ézéchiel 10:10 A leur aspect, toutes les quatre avaient la même forme; chaque roue paraissait être au milieu d'une autre roue.(F) Eze 10:10 und waren alle vier eines wie das andere, als wäre ein Rad im andern.(D) Eze 10:10 καὶ ἡ ὄψις αὐτῶν ὁμοίωμα ἓν τοῖς τέσσαρσιν ὃν τρόπον ὅταν ᾖ τροχὸς ἐν μέσῳ τροχοῦ(lxx) Eze 10:10 As for their appearance, all four looked alike--as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:11 ============ Eze 10:11 When they moved, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went; but they followed in the direction which they faced, without turning as they went.(nasb) Eze 10:11 Cumque ambularent, in quatuor partes gradiebantur, et non revertebantur ambulantes: sed ad locum ad quem ire declinabat quæ prima erat, sequebantur et ceteræ, nec convertebantur.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:11 Cuando andaban, sobre sus cuatro lados andaban; no se volvían cuando andaban, sino que al lugar adonde se volvía la primera, en pos de ella iban; no se volvían cuando andaban.(E) Ézéchiel 10:11 En cheminant, elles allaient de leurs quatre côtés, et elles ne se tournaient point dans leur marche; mais elles allaient dans la direction de la tête, sans se tourner dans leur marche.(F) Eze 10:11 Wenn sie gehen sollten, so konnten sie nach allen vier Seiten gehen und mußten sich nicht herumlenken, wenn sie gingen; sondern wohin das erste ging, da gingen sie nach und mußten sich nicht herumlenken.(D) Eze 10:11 ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτὰ εἰς τὰ τέσσαρα μέρη αὐτῶν ἐπορεύοντο οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτά ὅτι εἰς ὃν ἂν τόπον ἐπέβλεψεν ἡ ἀρχὴ ἡ μία ἐπορεύοντο καὶ οὐκ ἐπέστρεφον ἐν τῷ πορεύεσθαι αὐτά(lxx) Eze 10:11 When they went, they went toward any of their four directions; they did not turn aside when they went, but followed in the direction the head was facing. They did not turn aside when they went.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:12 ============ Eze 10:12 Their whole body, their backs, their hands, their wings and the wheels were full of eyes all around, the wheels belonging to all four of them.(nasb) Eze 10:12 Et omne corpus earum, et colla, et manus, et pennæ, et circuli, plena erant oculis in circuitu quatuor rotarum.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:12 Y todo su cuerpo, y sus espaldas, y sus manos, y sus alas, y las ruedas, [estaban] llenos de ojos alrededor en sus cuatro ruedas.(E) Ézéchiel 10:12 Tout le corps des chérubins, leur dos, leurs mains, et leurs ailes, étaient remplis d'yeux, aussi bien que les roues tout autour, les quatre roues.(F) Eze 10:12 Und ihr ganzer Leib, Rücken, Hände und Flügel und die Räder waren voll Augen um und um; alle vier hatten ihre Räder.(D) Eze 10:12 καὶ οἱ νῶτοι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ πτέρυγες αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ πλήρεις ὀφθαλμῶν κυκλόθεν τοῖς τέσσαρσιν τροχοῖς αὐτῶν(lxx) Eze 10:12 And their whole body, with their back, their hands, their wings, and the wheels that the four had, were full of eyes all around.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:13 ============ Eze 10:13 The wheels were called in my hearing, the whirling wheels.(nasb) Eze 10:13 Et rotas istas vocavit volubiles, audiente me.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:13 A las ruedas, oyéndolo yo, se les gritaba: ¡Rueda!(E) Ézéchiel 10:13 J'entendis qu'on appelait les roues tourbillon.(F) Eze 10:13 Und die Räder wurden genannt "der Wirbel", daß ich's hörte.(D) Eze 10:13 τοῖς δὲ τροχοῖς τούτοις ἐπεκλήθη Γελγελ ἀκούοντός μου(lxx) Eze 10:13 As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing, "Wheel."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 10:14 ============ Eze 10:14 And each one had four faces. The first face was the face of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.(nasb) Eze 10:14 Quatuor autem facies habebat unum: facies una, facies cherub, et facies secunda, facies hominis: et in tertio facies leonis, et in quarto facies aquilæ.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:14 Y cada uno tenía cuatro caras. Each one went straight ahead.(nasb) Eze 10:22 Et similitudo vultuum eorum, ipsi vultus quos videram juxta fluvium Chobar, et intuitus eorum, et impetus singulorum ante faciem suam ingredi.(vulgate) Ezequiel 10:22 Y la figura de sus rostros [era] la de los rostros que vi junto al río de Quebar, su mismo parecer y su ser; cada uno caminaba derecho hacia adelante.(E) Ézéchiel 10:22 Leurs faces étaient semblables à celles que j'avais vues près du fleuve du Kebar; c'était le même aspect, c'était eux-mêmes.
