Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 13:1 ============ Eze 13:1 Then the word of the Lord came to me saying,(nasb) Eze 13:1 Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:1 Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:(E) Ézéchiel 13:1 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(F) Eze 13:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(D) Eze 13:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων(lxx) Eze 13:1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:2 ============ Eze 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, 'Listen to the word of the Lord!(nasb) Eze 13:2 Fili hominis, vaticinare ad prophetas Israël qui prophetant, et dices prophetantibus de corde suo: [Audite verbum Domini.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:2 Hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los profetas de Israel que profetizan, y di a los que profetizan de su corazón: Oíd palabra de Jehová.(E) Ézéchiel 13:2 Fils de l'homme, prophétise contre les prophètes d'Israël qui prophétisent, Et dis à ceux qui prophétisent selon leur propre coeur: Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel!(F) Eze 13:2 Du Menschenkind, weissage wider die Propheten Israels und sprich zu denen, so aus ihrem eigenen Herzen weissagen: Höret des HERRN Wort!(D) Eze 13:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ προφητεύσεις καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου(lxx) Eze 13:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, 'Hear the word of the Lord!' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:3 ============ Eze 13:3 Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing.(nasb) Eze 13:3 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Væ prophetis insipientibus, qui sequuntur spiritum suum, et nihil vident!(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:3 Así dice Jehová el Señor: ¡Ay de los profetas insensatos, que andan en pos de su propio espíritu, y nada han visto!(E) Ézéchiel 13:3 Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Malheur aux prophètes insensés, Qui suivent leur propre esprit et qui ne voient rien!(F) Eze 13:3 So spricht der HERR HERR: Weh den tollen Propheten, die ihrem eigenen Geist folgen und haben keine Gesichte!(D) Eze 13:3 τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐαὶ τοῖς προφητεύουσιν ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ καθόλου μὴ βλέπουσιν(lxx) Eze 13:3 Thus says the Lord God: "Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:4 ============ Eze 13:4 O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins.(nasb) Eze 13:4 Quasi vulpes in desertis prophetæ tui, Israël, erant.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:4 Como zorras en los desiertos fueron tus profetas, oh Israel.(E) Ézéchiel 13:4 Tels des renards au milieu des ruines, Tels sont tes prophètes, ô Israël!(F) Eze 13:4 O Israel, deine Propheten sind wie die Füchse in den Wüsten!(D) Eze 13:4 οἱ προφῆταί σου Ισραηλ ὡς ἀλώπεκες ἐν ταῖς ἐρήμοις(lxx) Eze 13:4 O Israel, your prophets are like foxes in the deserts.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:5 ============ Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord.(nasb) Eze 13:5 Non ascendistis ex adverso, neque opposuistis murum pro domo Israël, ut staretis in prælio in die Domini.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:5 No habéis subido a los portillos, ni echasteis vallado en la casa de Israel, estando en la batalla en el día de Jehová.(E) Ézéchiel 13:5 Vous n'êtes pas montés devant les brèches, Vous n'avez pas entouré d'un mur la maison d'Israël, Pour demeurer fermes dans le combat, Au jour de l'Eternel.(F) Eze 13:5 Sie treten nicht vor die Lücken und machen sich nicht zur Hürde um das Haus Israel und stehen nicht im Streit am Tage des HERRN.(D) Eze 13:5 οὐκ ἔστησαν ἐν στερεώματι καὶ συνήγαγον ποίμνια ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ ἀνέστησαν οἱ λέγοντες ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κυρίου(lxx) Eze 13:5 You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:6 ============ Eze 13:6 They see falsehood and lying divination who are saying, 'The Lord declares, 'when the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word.(nasb) Eze 13:6 Vident vana, et divinant mendacium, dicentes: Ait Dominus, cum Dominus non miserit eos: et perseveraverunt confirmare sermonem.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:6 Vieron vanidad y adivinación de mentira, diciendo: Dice Jehová; y Jehová no los envió; y hacen esperar que se confirme la palabra.(E) Ézéchiel 13:6 Leurs visions sont vaines, et leurs oracles menteurs; Ils disent: L'Eternel a dit! Et l'Eternel ne les a point envoyés; Et ils font espérer que leur parole s'accomplira.(F) Eze 13:6 Ihr Gesicht ist nichts, und ihr Weissagen ist eitel Lügen. Sie sprechen: "Der HERR hat's gesagt", so sie doch der HERR nicht gesandt hat, und warten, daß ihr Wort bestehe.(D) Eze 13:6 βλέποντες ψευδῆ μαντευόμενοι μάταια οἱ λέγοντες λέγει κύριος καὶ κύριος οὐκ ἀπέσταλκεν αὐτούς καὶ ἤρξαντο τοῦ ἀναστῆσαι λόγον(lxx) Eze 13:6 They have envisioned futility and false divination, saying, 'Thus says the Lord!' But the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope that the word may be confirmed.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:7 ============ Eze 13:7 Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said, 'The Lord declares, 'but it is not I who have spoken?"'"(nasb) Eze 13:7 Numquid non visionem cassam vidistis, et divinationem mendacem locuti estis, et dicitis: Ait Dominus, cum ego non sim locutus?(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:7 ¿No habéis visto visión vana, y no habéis dicho adivinación de mentira, por cuanto decís: Dice Jehová; no habiendo yo hablado?(E) Ézéchiel 13:7 Les visions que vous avez ne sont-elles pas vaines, Et les oracles que vous prononcez ne sont-ils pas menteurs? Vous dites: L'Eternel a dit! Et je n'ai point parlé.(F) Eze 13:7 Ist's nicht also, daß euer Gesicht ist nichts und euer Weissagen ist eitel Lügen? und ihr sprecht doch: "Der HERR hat's geredet", so ich's doch nicht geredet habe.(D) Eze 13:7 οὐχ ὅρασιν ψευδῆ ἑωράκατε καὶ μαντείας ματαίας εἰρήκατε(lxx) Eze 13:7 Have you not seen a futile vision, and have you not spoken false divination? You say, 'The Lord says,' but I have not spoken."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:8 ============ Eze 13:8 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Because you have spoken falsehood and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you," declares the Lord God.(nasb) Eze 13:8 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Quia locuti estis vana, et vidistis mendacium, ideo ecce ego ad vos, dicit Dominus Deus.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:8 Por tanto, así dice Jehová el Señor: Por cuanto vosotros habéis hablado vanidad, y habéis visto mentira, por tanto, he aquí yo [estoy] contra vosotros, dice Jehová el Señor.(E) Ézéchiel 13:8 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Parce que vous dites des choses vaines, Et que vos visions sont des mensonges, Voici, j'en veux à vous, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(F) Eze 13:8 Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Weil ihr das predigt, woraus nichts wird, und Lügen weissagt, so will ich an euch, spricht der HERR HERR.(D) Eze 13:8 διὰ τοῦτο εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν οἱ λόγοι ὑμῶν ψευδεῖς καὶ αἱ μαντεῖαι ὑμῶν μάταιαι διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς λέγει κύριος(lxx) Eze 13:8 Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you," says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:9 ============ Eze 13:9 "So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord God.(nasb) Eze 13:9 Et erit manus mea super prophetas qui vident vana, et divinant mendacium: in consilio populi mei non erunt, et in scriptura domus Israël non scribentur, nec in terram Israël ingredientur, et scietis quia ego Dominus Deus:(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:9 Y será mi mano contra los profetas que ven vanidad y adivinan mentira; no estarán en la congregación de mi pueblo, ni serán escritos en el libro de la casa de Israel, ni a la tierra de Israel volverán; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová el Señor.(E) Ézéchiel 13:9 Ma main sera contre les prophètes Dont les visions sont vaines et les oracles menteurs; Ils ne feront point partie de l'assemblée de mon peuple, Ils ne seront pas inscrits dans le livre de la maison d'Israël, Et ils n'entreront pas dans le pays d'Israël. Et vous saurez que je suis le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(F) Eze 13:9 Und meine Hand soll kommen über die Propheten, so das predigen, woraus nichts wird, und Lügen weissagen. Sie sollen in der Versammlung meines Volkes nicht sein und in der Zahl des Hauses Israel nicht geschrieben werden noch ins Land Israels kommen; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR HERR bin.(D) Eze 13:9 καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς προφήτας τοὺς ὁρῶντας ψευδῆ καὶ τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους μάταια ἐν παιδείᾳ τοῦ λαοῦ μου οὐκ ἔσονται οὐδὲ ἐν γραφῇ οἴκου Ισραηλ οὐ γραφήσονται καὶ εἰς τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ οὐκ εἰσελεύσονται καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος(lxx) Eze 13:9 My hand will be against the prophets who envision futility and who divine lies; they shall not be in the assembly of My people, nor be written in the record of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:10 ============ Eze 13:10 It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;(nasb) Eze 13:10 eo quod deceperint populum meum, dicentes: Pax, et non est pax: et ipse ædificabat parietem, illi autem liniebant eum luto absque paleis.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:10 Así que, por cuanto engañaron a mi pueblo, diciendo: Paz, no [habiendo] paz; y uno edificaba la pared, y he aquí que los otros la recubrían con [lodo] suelto;(E) Ézéchiel 13:10 Ces choses arriveront parce qu'ils égarent mon peuple, En disant: Paix! quand il n'y a point de paix. Et mon peuple bâtit une muraille, Et eux, ils la couvrent de plâtre.(F) Eze 13:10 Darum daß sie mein Volk verführen und sagen: "Friede!", so doch kein Friede ist. Das Volk baut die Wand, so tünchen sie dieselbe mit losem Kalk.(D) Eze 13:10 ἀνθ᾽ ὧν τὸν λαόν μου ἐπλάνησαν λέγοντες εἰρήνη εἰρήνη καὶ οὐκ ἦν εἰρήνη καὶ οὗτος οἰκοδομεῖ τοῖχον καὶ αὐτοὶ ἀλείφουσιν αὐτόν εἰ πεσεῖται(lxx) Eze 13:10 Because, indeed, because they have seduced My people, saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace--and one builds a wall, and they plaster it with untempered mortar--(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:11 ============ Eze 13:11 so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, O hailstones, will fall; and a violent wind will break out.(nasb) Eze 13:11 Dic ad eos qui liniunt absque temperatura, quod casurus sit: erit enim imber inundans, et dabo lapides prægrandes desuper irruentes, et ventum procellæ dissipantem.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:11 di a los que [la] recubren con [lodo] suelto, que caerá; vendrá lluvia torrencial, y enviaré piedras de granizo que la hagan caer, y viento tempestuoso [la] romperá.(E) Ézéchiel 13:11 Dis à ceux qui la couvrent de plâtre qu'elle s'écroulera; Une pluie violente surviendra; Et vous, pierres de grêle, vous tomberez, Et la tempête éclatera.(F) Eze 13:11 Sprich zu den Tünchern, die mit losem Kalk tünchen, daß es abfallen wird; denn es wird ein Platzregen kommen und werden große Hagel fallen und ein Windwirbel wird es zerreißen.(D) Eze 13:11 εἰπὸν πρὸς τοὺς ἀλείφοντας πεσεῖται καὶ ἔσται ὑετὸς κατακλύζων καὶ δώσω λίθους πετροβόλους εἰς τοὺς ἐνδέσμους αὐτῶν καὶ πεσοῦνται καὶ πνεῦμα ἐξαῖρον καὶ ῥαγήσεται(lxx) Eze 13:11 say to those who plaster it with untempered mortar, that it will fall. There will be flooding rain, and you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall tear it down.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:12 ============ Eze 13:12 Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, 'Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'"(nasb) Eze 13:12 Siquidem ecce cecidit paries: numquid non dicetur vobis: Ubi est litura quam linistis?(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:12 Y he aquí cuando la pared haya caído, ¿no os dirán: ¿Dónde [está] la embarradura con [la] que recubristeis?(E) Ézéchiel 13:12 Et voici, la muraille s'écroule! ne vous dira-t-on pas: Où est le plâtre dont vous l'avez couverte?(F) Eze 13:12 Siehe, so wird die Wand einfallen. Was gilt's? dann wird man zu euch sagen: Wo ist nun das getünchte, das ihr getüncht habt?(D) Eze 13:12 καὶ ἰδοὺ πέπτωκεν ὁ τοῖχος καὶ οὐκ ἐροῦσιν πρὸς ὑμᾶς ποῦ ἐστιν ἡ ἀλοιφὴ ὑμῶν ἣν ἠλείψατε(lxx) Eze 13:12 Surely, when the wall has fallen, will it not be said to you, 'Where is the mortar with which you plastered it?' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:13 ============ Eze 13:13 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath.(nasb) Eze 13:13 Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Et erumpere faciam spiritum tempestatum in indignatione mea, et imber inundans in furore meo erit, et lapides grandes in ira in consumptionem.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:13 Por tanto, así dice Jehová el Señor: Y haré que [la] rompa viento tempestuoso con mi ira, y lluvia torrencial vendrá con mi furor, y piedras de granizo con enojo para consumir.(E) Ézéchiel 13:13 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Je ferai, dans ma fureur, éclater la tempête; Il surviendra, dans ma colère, une pluie violente; Et des pierres de grêle tomberont avec fureur pour détruire.(F) Eze 13:13 So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will einen Windwirbel reißen lassen in meinem Grimm und einen Platzregen in meinem Zorn und große Hagelsteine im Grimm, die sollen alles umstoßen.(D) Eze 13:13 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ῥήξω πνοὴν ἐξαίρουσαν μετὰ θυμοῦ καὶ ὑετὸς κατακλύζων ἐν ὀργῇ μου ἔσται καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς πετροβόλους ἐν θυμῷ ἐπάξω εἰς συντέλειαν(lxx) Eze 13:13 Therefore thus says the Lord God: "I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:14 ============ Eze 13:14 So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation is laid bare; and when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. And you will know that I am the Lord.(nasb) Eze 13:14 Et destruam parietem quem linistis absque temperamento, et adæquabo eum terræ, et revelabitur fundamentum ejus: et cadet, et consumetur in medio ejus, et scietis quia ego sum Dominus.(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:14 Así desbarataré la pared que vosotros recubristeis con [lodo] suelto, y la echaré a tierra, y será descubierto su cimiento, y caerá, y seréis consumidos en medio de ella; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.(E) Ézéchiel 13:14 J'abattrai la muraille que vous avez couverte de plâtre, Je lui ferai toucher la terre, et ses fondements seront mis à nu; Elle s'écroulera, et vous périrez au milieu de ses ruines. Et vous saurez que je suis l'Eternel.(F) Eze 13:14 Also will ich die Wand umwerfen; die ihr mit losem Kalk getüncht habt, und will sie zu Boden stoßen, daß man ihren Grund sehen soll; so fällt sie, und ihr sollt darin auch umkommen und erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.(D) Eze 13:14 καὶ κατασκάψω τὸν τοῖχον ὃν ἠλείψατε καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ θήσω αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἀποκαλυφθήσεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτοῦ καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ συντελεσθήσεσθε μετ᾽ ἐλέγχων καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος(lxx) Eze 13:14 So I will break down the wall you have plastered with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered; it will fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:15 ============ Eze 13:15 Thus I will spend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you, 'The wall is gone and its plasterers are gone,(nasb) Eze 13:15 Et complebo indignationem meam in pariete, et in his qui liniunt eum absque temperamento: dicamque vobis: Non est paries, et non sunt qui liniunt eum:(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:15 Cumpliré así mi furor en la pared y en los que la recubrieron con [lodo] suelto; y os diré: No [existe] la pared, ni aquellos que la recubrieron,(E) Ézéchiel 13:15 J'assouvirai ainsi ma fureur contre la muraille, Et contre ceux qui l'ont couverte de plâtre; Et je vous dirai; Plus de muraille! Et c'en est fait de ceux qui la replâtraient,(F) Eze 13:15 Also will ich meinen Grimm vollenden an der Wand und an denen, die sie mit losem Kalk tünchen, und will zu euch sagen: Hier ist weder Wand noch Tüncher.(D) Eze 13:15 καὶ συντελέσω τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπὶ τὸν τοῖχον καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλείφοντας αὐτόν καὶ πεσεῖται καὶ εἶπα πρὸς ὑμᾶς οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ τοῖχος οὐδὲ οἱ ἀλείφοντες αὐτὸν(lxx) Eze 13:15 Thus will I accomplish My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, 'The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:16 ============ Eze 13:16 along with the prophets of Israel who prophesy to Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,' declares the Lord God.(nasb) Eze 13:16 prophetæ Israël, qui prophetant ad Jerusalem, et vident ei visionem pacis, et non est pax, ait Dominus Deus.]~(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:16 los profetas de Israel que profetizan a Jerusalén, y ven para ella visión de paz, no [habiendo] paz, dice Jehová el Señor.(E) Ézéchiel 13:16 Des prophètes d'Israël qui prophétisent sur Jérusalem, Et qui ont sur elle des visions de paix, Quand il n'y a point de paix! Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(F) Eze 13:16 Das sind die Propheten Israels, die Jerusalem weissagen und predigen von Frieden, so doch kein Friede ist, spricht der HERR HERR.(D) Eze 13:16 προφῆται τοῦ Ισραηλ οἱ προφητεύοντες ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ οἱ ὁρῶντες αὐτῇ εἰρήνην καὶ εἰρήνη οὐκ ἔστιν λέγει κύριος(lxx) Eze 13:16 that is, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,' " says the Lord God.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:17 ============ Eze 13:17 "Now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are prophesying from their own inspiration. Prophesy against them(nasb) Eze 13:17 Et tu, fili hominis, pone faciem tuam contra filias populi tui quæ prophetant de corde suo: et vaticinare super eas,(vulgate) Ezequiel 13:17 Y tú, hijo de hombre, pon tu rostro contra las hijas de tu pueblo que profetizan de su propio corazón, y profetiza contra ellas,(E) Ézéchiel 13:17 Et toi, fils de l'homme, porte tes regards sur les filles de ton peuple Qui prophétisent selon leur propre coeur, Et prophétise contre elles!(F) Eze 13:17 Und du, Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider die Töchter in deinem Volk, welche weissagen aus ihrem Herzen, und weissage wider sie(D) Eze 13:17 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ τὰς θυγατέρας τοῦ λαοῦ σου τὰς προφητευούσας ἀπὸ καρδίας αὐτῶν καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰς(lxx) Eze 13:17 "Likewise, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; prophesy against them,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 13:18 ============ Eze 13:18 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all wrists and make veils for the heads of persons of every stature to hunt down lives!
