Erat autem nomen servo Malchus.(vulgate) Juan 18:10 Entonces Simón Pedro, que tenía una espada, la sacó, e hirió a un siervo del sumo sacerdote, y le cortó la oreja derecha. The servant's name was Malchus.(nkjv) ======= John 18:11 ============ Jn 18:11 So Jesus said to Peter, "Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, shall I not drink it?"(nasb) Jn 18:11 Dixit ergo Jesus Petro: Mitte gladium tuum in vaginam. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest,(nasb) Jn 18:15 Sequebatur autem Jesum Simon Petrus, et alius discipulus. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and went with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest.(nkjv) ======= John 18:16 ============ Jn 18:16 but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper, and brought Peter in.(nasb) Jn 18:16 Petrus autem stabat ad ostium foris. Then the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought Peter in.(nkjv) ======= John 18:17 ============ Jn 18:17 Then the slave-girl who kept the door said to Peter, "You are not also one of this man's disciples, are you?" He said, "I am not."(nasb) Jn 18:17 Dicit ergo Petro ancilla ostiaria: Numquid et tu ex discipulis es hominis istius? If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm."(nasb) Jn 18:36 Respondit Jesus: Regnum meum non est de hoc mundo. Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Erat autem Barabbas latro.(vulgate) Juan 18:40 Entonces todos dieron voces otra vez, diciendo: No a Éste, sino a Barrabás. Y Barrabás era ladrón.(E) Jean 18:40 Alors de nouveau tous s'écrièrent: Non pas lui, mais Barabbas. Or, Barabbas était un brigand.(F) Jn 18:40 Da schrieen sie wieder allesamt und sprachen: Nicht diesen, sondern Barabbas!
