Pilate said to them, "Behold, the Man!"(nasb) Jn 19:5 (Exivit ergo Jesus portans coronam spineam, et purpureum vestimentum.) And Pilate said to them, "Behold the Man!"(nkjv) ======= John 19:6 ============ Jn 19:6 So when the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they cried out saying, "Crucify, crucify!" Pilate said to them, "Take Him yourselves and crucify Him, for I find no guilt in Him."(nasb) Jn 19:6 Cum ergo vidissent eum pontifices et ministri, clamabant, dicentes: Crucifige, crucifige eum. But Jesus gave him no answer.(nasb) Jn 19:9 Et ingressus est prætorium iterum: et dixit ad Jesum: Unde es tu? But Jesus gave him no answer.(nkjv) ======= John 19:10 ============ Jn 19:10 So Pilate said to Him, "You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?"(nasb) Jn 19:10 Dicit ergo ei Pilatus: Mihi non loqueris? nescis quia potestatem habeo crucifigere te, et potestatem habeo dimittere te?(vulgate) Juan 19:10 Entonces le dijo Pilato: ¿A mí no me hablas? ¿No sabes que tengo potestad para crucificarte, y que tengo potestad para soltarte?(E) Jean 19:10 Pilate lui dit: Est-ce à moi que tu ne parles pas? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?"(nkjv) ======= John 19:11 ============ Jn 19:11 Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."(nasb) Jn 19:11 Respondit Jesus: Non haberes potestatem adversum me ullam, nisi tibi datum esset desuper. Propterea qui me tradidit tibi, majus peccatum habet.(vulgate) Juan 19:11 Respondió Jesús: ‹Ninguna potestad tendrías contra mí, si no te fuese dada de arriba; por tanto, el que a ti me ha entregado, mayor pecado tiene.›(E) Jean 19:11 Jésus répondit: Tu n'aurais sur moi aucun pouvoir, s'il ne t'avait été donné d'en haut. C'est pourquoi celui qui me livre à toi commet un plus grand péché.(F) Jn 19:11 Jesus antwortete: Du hättest keine Macht über mich, wenn sie dir nicht wäre von obenherab gegeben; darum, der mich dir überantwortet hat, der hat größere Sünde.(D) Jn 19:11 ἀπεκρίθη [αὐτῶ] ἰησοῦς, οὐκ εἶχες ἐξουσίαν κατ᾽ ἐμοῦ οὐδεμίαν εἰ μὴ ἦν δεδομένον σοι ἄνωθεν· διὰ τοῦτο ὁ παραδούς μέ σοι μείζονα ἁμαρτίαν ἔχει.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 19:11 Jesus answered, "You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."(nkjv) ======= John 19:12 ============ Jn 19:12 As a result of this Pilate made efforts to release Him, but the Jews cried out saying, "If you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar."(nasb) Jn 19:12 Et exinde quærebat Pilatus dimittere eum. Judæi autem clamabant dicentes: Si hunc dimittis, non es amicus Cæsaris. Omnis enim qui se regem facit, contradicit Cæsari.~(vulgate) Juan 19:12 Desde entonces procuraba Pilato soltarle; pero los judíos daban voces, diciendo: Si a Éste sueltas, no eres amigo de César; cualquiera que se hace rey, se declara contra César.(E) Jean 19:12 Dès ce moment, Pilate cherchait à le relâcher. Mais les Juifs criaient: Si tu le relâches, tu n'es pas ami de César. Quiconque se fait roi se déclare contre César.(F) Jn 19:12 Von da an trachtete Pilatus, wie er ihn losließe. Die Juden aber schrieen und sprachen: Läßt du diesen los, so bist du des Kaisers Freund nicht; denn wer sich zum König macht, der ist wider den Kaiser.(D) Jn 19:12 ἐκ τούτου ὁ πιλᾶτος ἐζήτει ἀπολῦσαι αὐτόν· οἱ δὲ ἰουδαῖοι ἐκραύγασαν λέγοντες, ἐὰν τοῦτον ἀπολύσῃς, οὐκ εἶ φίλος τοῦ καίσαρος· πᾶς ὁ βασιλέα ἑαυτὸν ποιῶν ἀντιλέγει τῶ καίσαρι.(Nestle-Aland) Jn 19:12 From then on Pilate sought to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, "If you let this Man go, you are not Caesar's friend. Crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?"
