Today's Date: 4/10/2025 ======= Leviticus 16:1 ============ Lev 16:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;(KJV) Leviticus 16:1 Fvrthermore the Lord spake vnto Moses, after the death of the two sonnes of Aaron, whe they came to offer before the Lord, and dyed:(Geneva) Lévitique 16:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, après la mort des deux fils d'Aaron, qui moururent en se présentant devant l'Eternel.(FR) 1 ׃16 וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה אַחֲרֵ֣י מ֔וֹת שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן בְּקָרְבָתָ֥ם לִפְנֵי־יְהוָ֖ה וַיָּמֻֽתוּ׃ Leviticus Lev 16:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they had approached the presence of the Lord and died.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:2 ============ Lev 16:2 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.(KJV) Leviticus 16:2 And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Speake vnto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the Holy place within the vayle, before the Merciseate, which is vpon the Arke, that he dye not: for I wil appeare in the cloude vpon the Merciseate.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:2 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Parle à ton frère Aaron, afin qu'il n'entre pas en tout temps dans le sanctuaire, au dedans du voile, devant le propitiatoire qui est sur l'arche, de peur qu'il ne meure; car j'apparaîtrai dans la nuée sur le propitiatoire.(FR) 2 ׃16 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה דַּבֵּר֮ אֶל־אַהֲרֹ֣ן אָחִיךָ֒ וְאַל־יָבֹ֤א בְכָל־עֵת֙ אֶל־הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ מִבֵּ֖ית לַפָּרֹ֑כֶת אֶל־פְּנֵ֨י הַכַּפֹּ֜רֶת אֲשֶׁ֤ר עַל־הָאָרֹן֙ וְלֹ֣א יָמ֔וּת כִּ֚י בֶּֽעָנָ֔ן אֵרָאֶ֖ה עַל־הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ Leviticus Lev 16:2 The Lord said to Moses:" Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the holy place inside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:3 ============ Lev 16:3 Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.(KJV) Leviticus 16:3 After this sort shall Aaron come into the Holy place: euen with a yong bullocke for a sinne offring, and a ramme for a burnt offring.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:3 Voici de quelle manière Aaron entrera dans le sanctuaire. Il prendra un jeune taureau pour le sacrifice d'expiation et un bélier pour l'holocauste.(FR) 3 ׃16 בְּזֹ֛את יָבֹ֥א אַהֲרֹ֖ן אֶל־הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ בְּפַ֧ר בֶּן־בָּקָ֛ר לְחַטָּ֖את וְאַ֥יִל לְעֹלָֽה׃ Leviticus Lev 16:3 Aaron shall enter the holy place with this: with a bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:4 ============ Lev 16:4 He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.(KJV) Leviticus 16:4 He shal put on the holy linnen coate, and shal haue linnen breeches vpon his flesh, & shal be girded with a linnen girdle, and shal couer his head with a linnen miter: these are the holy garments: therefore shal hee wash his flesh in water, when he doeth put them on.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:4 Il se revêtira de la tunique sacrée de lin, et portera sur son corps des caleçons de lin; il se ceindra d'une ceinture de lin, et il se couvrira la tête d'une tiare de lin: ce sont les vêtements sacrés, dont il se revêtira après avoir lavé son corps dans l'eau.(FR) 4 ׃16 כְּתֹֽנֶת־בַּ֨ד קֹ֜דֶשׁ יִלְבָּ֗שׁ וּמִֽכְנְסֵי־בַד֮ יִהְי֣וּ עַל־בְּשָׂרוֹ֒ וּבְאַבְנֵ֥ט בַּד֙ יַחְגֹּ֔ר וּבְמִצְנֶ֥פֶת בַּ֖ד יִצְנֹ֑ף בִּגְדֵי־קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֔ם וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֛יִם אֶת־בְּשָׂר֖וֹ וּלְבֵשָֽׁם׃ Leviticus Lev 16:4 He shall put on the holy linen tunic, and the linen undergarments shall be next to his body, and he shall be girded with the linen sash and attired with the linen turban (these are holy garments). Il égorgera son taureau expiatoire.(FR) 11 ׃16 וְהִקְרִ֨יב אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת־פַּ֤ר הַֽחַטָּאת֙ אֲשֶׁר־ל֔וֹ וְכִפֶּ֥ר בַּֽעֲד֖וֹ וּבְעַ֣ד בֵּית֑וֹ וְשָׁחַ֛ט אֶת־פַּ֥ר הֽ͏ַחַטָּ֖את אֲשֶׁר־לֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 16:11 "Then Aaron shall offer the bull of the sin offering which is for himself and make atonement for himself and for his household, and he shall slaughter the bull of the sin offering which is for himself.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:12 ============ Lev 16:12 And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:(KJV) Leviticus 16:12 And he shal take a censer full of burning coles from off the altar before the Lorde, and his handfull of sweete incense beaten small, & bring it within the vayle,(Geneva) Lévitique 16:12 Il prendra un brasier plein de charbons ardents ôtés de dessus l'autel devant l'Eternel, et de deux poignées de parfum odoriférant en poudre; il portera ces choses au delà du voile;(FR) 12 ׃16 וְלָקַ֣ח מְלֹֽא־הַ֠מַּחְתָּה גַּֽחֲלֵי־אֵ֞שׁ מֵעַ֤ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וּמְלֹ֣א חָפְנָ֔יו קְטֹ֥רֶת סַמִּ֖ים דַּקָּ֑ה וְהֵבִ֖יא מִבֵּ֥ית לַפָּרֹֽכֶת׃ Leviticus Lev 16:12 He shall take a firepan full of coals of fire from upon the altar before the Lord and two handfuls of finely ground sweet incense, and bring it inside the veil.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:13 ============ Lev 16:13 And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:(KJV) Leviticus 16:13 And shal put the incense vpon the fire before the Lorde, that the cloude of the incense may couer the Merciseat that is vpon the Testimonie: so he shal not dye.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:13 il mettra le parfum sur le feu devant l'Eternel, afin que la nuée du parfum couvre le propitiatoire qui est sur le témoignage, et il ne mourra point.(FR) 13 ׃16 וְנָתַ֧ן אֶֽת־הַקְּטֹ֛רֶת עַל־הָאֵ֖שׁ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְכִסָּ֣ה ׀ עֲנַ֣ן הַקְּטֹ֗רֶת אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־הָעֵד֖וּת וְלֹ֥א יָמֽוּת׃ Leviticus Lev 16:13 He shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the ark of the testimony, otherwise he will die.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:14 ============ Lev 16:14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.(KJV) Leviticus 16:14 And hee shall take of the blood of the bullocke, and sprinkle it with his finger vpon the Merciseat Eastward: and before the Merciseate shal he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seuen times.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:14 Il prendra du sang du taureau, et il fera l'aspersion avec son doigt sur le devant du propitiatoire vers l'orient; il fera avec son doigt sept fois l'aspersion du sang devant le propitiatoire.(FR) 14 ׃16 וְלָקַח֙ מִדַּ֣ם הַפָּ֔ר וְהִזָּ֧ה בְאֶצְבָּע֛וֹ עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַכַּפֹּ֖רֶת קֵ֑דְמָה וְלִפְנֵ֣י הַכַּפֹּ֗רֶת יַזֶּ֧ה שֶֽׁבַע־פְּעָמִ֛ים מִן־הַדָּ֖ם בְּאֶצְבָּעֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 16:14 Moreover, he shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; also in front of the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:15 ============ Lev 16:15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:(KJV) Leviticus 16:15 Then shall he kill the goate that is the peoples sinne offring, and bring his blood within the vaile, and doe with that blood, as he did with the blood of the bullocke, and sprinckle it vpon the Merciseate, and before the Merciseate.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:15 Il égorgera le bouc expiatoire pour le peuple, et il en portera le sang au delà du voile. Il fera avec ce sang comme il a fait avec le sang du taureau, il en fera l'aspersion sur le propitiatoire et devant le propitiatoire.(FR) 15 ׃16 וְשָׁחַ֞ט אֶת־שְׂעִ֤יר הַֽחַטָּאת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָעָ֔ם וְהֵבִיא֙ אֶת־דָּמ֔וֹ אֶל־מִבֵּ֖ית לַפָּרֹ֑כֶת וְעָשָׂ֣ה אֶת־דָּמ֗וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשָׂה֙ לְדַ֣ם הַפָּ֔ר וְהִזָּ֥ה אֹת֛וֹ עַל־הַכַּפֹּ֖רֶת וְלִפְנֵ֥י הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ Leviticus Lev 16:15 "Then he shall slaughter the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, and bring its blood inside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:16 ============ Lev 16:16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.(KJV) Leviticus 16:16 So he shal purge the Holy place from the vncleannes of the children of Israel, & from their trespasses of all their sinnes: so shal he do also for the Tabernacle of the Cogregation placed with them, in the middes of their vncleannesse.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:16 C'est ainsi qu'il fera l'expiation pour le sanctuaire à cause des impuretés des enfants d'Israël et de toutes les transgressions par lesquelles ils ont péché. Il fera de même pour la tente d'assignation, qui est avec eux au milieu de leurs impuretés.(FR) 16 ׃16 וְכִפֶּ֣ר עַל־הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ מִטֻּמְאֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמִפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֖ם לְכָל־חַטֹּאתָ֑ם וְכֵ֤ן יַעֲשֶׂה֙ לְאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד הַשֹּׁכֵ֣ן אִתָּ֔ם בְּת֖וֹךְ טֻמְאֹתָֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 16:16 He shall make atonement for the holy place, because of the impurities of the sons of Israel and because of their transgressions in regard to all their sins; and thus he shall do for the tent of meeting which abides with them in the midst of their impurities.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:17 ============ Lev 16:17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.(KJV) Leviticus 16:17 And there shalbe no man in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, when he goeth in to make an atonement in the Holy place, vntill hee come out, and haue made an atonement for himselfe, and for his housholde, and for all the Congregation of Israel.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:17 Il n'y aura personne dans la tente d'assignation lorsqu'il entrera pour faire l'expiation dans le sanctuaire, jusqu'à ce qu'il en sorte. Il fera l'expiation pour lui et pour sa maison, et pour toute l'assemblée d'Israël.(FR) 17 ׃16 וְכָל־אָדָ֞ם לֹא־יִהְיֶ֣ה ׀ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֗ד בְּבֹא֛וֹ לְכַפֵּ֥ר בַּקֹּ֖דֶשׁ עַד־צֵאת֑וֹ וְכִפֶּ֤ר בַּעֲדוֹ֙ וּבְעַ֣ד בֵּית֔וֹ וּבְעַ֖ד כָּל־קְהַ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Leviticus Lev 16:17 When he goes in to make atonement in the holy place, no one shall be in the tent of meeting until he comes out, that he may make atonement for himself and for his household and for all the assembly of Israel.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:18 ============ Lev 16:18 And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.(KJV) Leviticus 16:18 After, he shal goe out vnto the altar that is before the Lord & make a reconciliation vpon it, and shal take of the blood of the bullocke, and of the blood of the goate, and put it vpon the hornes of the Altar round about:(Geneva) Lévitique 16:18 En sortant, il ira vers l'autel qui est devant l'Eternel, et il fera l'expiation pour l'autel; il prendra du sang du taureau et du bouc, et il en mettra sur les cornes de l'autel tout autour.(FR) 18 ׃16 וְיָצָ֗א אֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִפְנֵֽי־יְהוָ֖ה וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלָ֑יו וְלָקַ֞ח מִדַּ֤ם הַפָּר֙ וּמִדַּ֣ם הַשָּׂעִ֔יר וְנָתַ֛ן עַל־קַרְנ֥וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ סָבִֽיב׃ Leviticus Lev 16:18 Then he shall go out to the altar that is before the Lord and make atonement for it, and shall take some of the blood of the bull and of the blood of the goat and put it on the horns of the altar on all sides.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 16:19 ============ Lev 16:19 And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.(KJV) Leviticus 16:19 So shal hee sprinkle of the blood vpon it with his finger seuen times, & clense it, & halowe it from the vncleannes of the children of Israel.(Geneva) Lévitique 16:19 Il fera avec son doigt sept fois l'aspersion du sang sur l'autel;
