Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 17:1 ============ Lev 17:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(KJV) Leviticus 17:1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Lévitique 17:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:(FR) 1 ׃17 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 17:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:2 ============ Lev 17:2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,(KJV) Leviticus 17:2 Speake vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes, and to all the children of Israel, & say vnto them, This is the thing which the Lorde hath commanded, saying,(Geneva) Lévitique 17:2 Parle à Aaron et à ses fils, et à tous les enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras: Voici ce que l'Eternel a ordonné.(FR) 2 ׃17 דַּבֵּ֨ר אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֜ן וְאֶל־בָּנָ֗יו וְאֶל֙ כָּל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 17:2 "Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, 'This is what the Lord has commanded, saying,(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:3 ============ Lev 17:3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,(KJV) Leviticus 17:3 Whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel that killeth a bullocke, or lambe, or goate in the hoste, or that killeth it out of the hoste,(Geneva) Lévitique 17:3 Si un homme de la maison d'Israël égorge dans le camp ou hors du camp un boeuf, un agneau ou une chèvre,(FR) 3 ׃17 אִ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁחַ֜ט שׁ֥וֹר אוֹ־כֶ֛שֶׂב אוֹ־עֵ֖ז בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה א֚וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִשְׁחַ֔ט מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ Leviticus Lev 17:3 "Any man from the house of Israel who slaughters an ox or a lamb or a goat in the camp, or who slaughters it outside the camp,(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:4 ============ Lev 17:4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:(KJV) Leviticus 17:4 And bringeth it not vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer an offring vnto the Lord before the Tabernacle of the Lord, blood shalbe imputed vnto that man: he hath shed blood, wherefore that man shall be cut off from among his people.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:4 et ne l'amène pas à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, pour en faire une offrande à l'Eternel devant le tabernacle de l'Eternel, le sang sera imputé à cet homme; il a répandu le sang, cet homme-là sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.(FR) 4 ׃17 וְאֶל־פֶּ֜תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵד֮ לֹ֣א הֱבִיאוֹ֒ לְהַקְרִ֤יב קָרְבָּן֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י מִשְׁכַּ֣ן יְהוָ֑ה דָּ֣ם יֵחָשֵׁ֞ב לָאִ֤ישׁ הַהוּא֙ דָּ֣ם שָׁפָ֔ךְ וְנִכְרַ֛ת הָאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמּֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 17:4 and has not brought it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to present it as an offering to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord, bloodguiltiness is to be reckoned to that man. He has shed blood and that man shall be cut off from among his people.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:5 ============ Lev 17:5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.(KJV) Leviticus 17:5 Therefore the children of Israel shall bring their offrings, which they would offer abroad in the fielde, & present the vnto ye Lord at the doore of the Tabernacle of ye Congregation by ye Priest, and offer them for peace offrings vnto the Lord.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:5 C'est afin que les enfants d'Israël, au lieu de sacrifier leurs victimes dans les champs, les amènent au sacrificateur, devant l'Eternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, et qu'ils les offrent à l'Eternel en sacrifices d'actions de grâces.(FR) 5 ׃17 לְמַעַן֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָבִ֜יאוּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶֽת־זִבְחֵיהֶם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֵ֣ם זֹבְחִים֮ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶה֒ וֽ͏ֶהֱבִיאֻ֣ם לַֽיהוָ֗ה אֶל־פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְזָ֨בְח֜וּ זִבְחֵ֧י שְׁלָמִ֛ים לַֽיהוָ֖ה אוֹתָֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 17:5 The reason is so that the sons of Israel may bring their sacrifices which they were sacrificing in the open field, that they may bring them in to the Lord, at the doorway of the tent of meeting to the priest, and sacrifice them as sacrifices of peace offerings to the Lord.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:6 ============ Lev 17:6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.(KJV) Leviticus 17:6 Then the Priest shall sprinkle the blood vpon the Altar of the Lord before the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and burne the fat for a sweete sauour vnto the Lord.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:6 Le sacrificateur en répandra le sang sur l'autel de l'Eternel, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation; et il brûlera la graisse, qui sera d'une agréable odeur à l'Eternel.(FR) 6 ׃17 וְזָרַ֨ק הַכֹּהֵ֤ן אֶת־הַדָּם֙ עַל־מִזְבַּ֣ח יְהוָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַחֵ֔לֶב לְרֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַיהוָֽה׃ Leviticus Lev 17:6 The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and offer up the fat in smoke as a soothing aroma to the Lord.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:7 ============ Lev 17:7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.(KJV) Leviticus 17:7 And they shall no more offer their offerings vnto deuils, after whom they haue gone a whoring: this shalbe an ordinance for euer vnto them in their generations.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:7 Ils n'offriront plus leurs sacrifices aux boucs, avec lesquels ils se prostituent. Ce sera une loi perpétuelle pour eux et pour leurs descendants.(FR) 7 ׃17 וְלֹא־יִזְבְּח֥וּ עוֹד֙ אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶ֔ם לַשְּׂעִירִ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֛ר הֵ֥ם זֹנִ֖ים אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם חֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֛ם תִּֽהְיֶה־זֹּ֥את לָהֶ֖ם לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 17:7 They shall no longer sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat demons with which they play the harlot. This shall be a permanent statute to them throughout their generations."'(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:8 ============ Lev 17:8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,(KJV) Leviticus 17:8 Also thou shalt say vnto them, whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which soiourne among them, that offreth a burnt offring or sacrifice,(Geneva) Lévitique 17:8 Tu leur diras donc: Si un homme de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux offre un holocauste ou une victime,(FR) 8 ׃17 וַאֲלֵהֶ֣ם תֹּאמַ֔ר אִ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמִן־הַגֵּ֖ר אֲשֶׁר־יָג֣וּר בְּתוֹכָ֑ם אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲלֶ֥ה עֹלָ֖ה אוֹ־זָֽבַח׃ Leviticus Lev 17:8 "Then you shall say to them, 'Any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:9 ============ Lev 17:9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.(KJV) Leviticus 17:9 And bringeth it not vnto ye doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation to offer it vnto the Lord, euen that man shall be cut off from his people.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:9 et ne l'amène pas à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, pour l'offrir en sacrifice à l'Eternel, cet homme-là sera retranché de son peuple.(FR) 9 ׃17 וְאֶל־פֶּ֜תַח אֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ לֹ֣א יְבִיאֶ֔נּוּ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת אֹת֖וֹ לַיהוָ֑ה וְנִכְרַ֛ת הָאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא מֵעַמָּֽיו׃ Leviticus Lev 17:9 and does not bring it to the doorway of the tent of meeting to offer it to the Lord, that man also shall be cut off from his people.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:10 ============ Lev 17:10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.(KJV) Leviticus 17:10 Likewise whosoeuer he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that soiourne among them, that eateth any blood, I will euen set my face against that person that eateth blood, & will cut him off from among his people.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:10 Si un homme de la maison d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent au milieu d'eux mange du sang d'une espèce quelconque, je tournerai ma face contre celui qui mange le sang, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.(FR) 10 ׃17 וְאִ֨ישׁ אִ֜ישׁ מִבֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וּמִן־הַגֵּר֙ הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֹאכַ֖ל כָּל־דָּ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֣י פָנַ֗י בַּנֶּ֙פֶשׁ֙ הָאֹכֶ֣לֶת אֶת־הַדָּ֔ם וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹתָ֖הּ מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽהּ׃ Leviticus Lev 17:10 'And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:11 ============ Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.(KJV) Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I haue giuen it vnto you to offer vpon the altar, to make an atonemet for your soules: for this blood shall make an atonement for the soule.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:11 Car l'âme de la chair est dans le sang. Therefore I said to the sons of Israel, 'You are not to eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood; whoever eats it shall be cut off.'(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:15 ============ Lev 17:15 And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.(KJV) Leviticus 17:15 And euery person that eateth it which dyeth alone, or that which is torne with beastes, whether it be one of the same countrey or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and wash himselfe in water, and be vncleane vnto the euen: after he shalbe cleane.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:15 Toute personne, indigène ou étrangère, qui mangera d'une bête morte ou déchirée, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera dans l'eau, et sera impure jusqu'au soir; puis elle sera pure.(FR) 15 ׃17 וְכָל־נֶ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תֹּאכַ֤ל נְבֵלָה֙ וּטְרֵפָ֔ה בָּאֶזְרָ֖ח וּבַגֵּ֑ר וְכִבֶּ֨ס בְּגָדָ֜יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֛יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעֶ֖רֶב וְטָהֵֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 17:15 When any person eats an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, whether he is a native or an alien, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and remain unclean until evening; then he will become clean.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 17:16 ============ Lev 17:16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.(kjv) Leviticus 17:16 But if he wash them not, nor wash his flesh, then he shall beare his iniquitie.(Geneva) Lévitique 17:16 Si elle ne lave pas ses vêtements, et ne lave pas son corps, elle portera la peine de sa faute.(FR) 16 ׃17 וְאִם֙ לֹ֣א יְכַבֵּ֔ס וּבְשָׂר֖וֹ לֹ֣א יִרְחָ֑ץ וְנָשָׂ֖א עֲוֺנֽוֹ׃ פ Leviticus Lev 17:16 But if he does not wash them or bathe his body, then he shall bear his guilt."
