the people of the land shall stone him with stones.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:3 ============ Lev 20:3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.(KJV) Leviticus 20:3 And I will set my face against that man and cut him off from among his people, because he hath giuen his children vnto Molech, for to defile my Sanctuarie, and to pollute mine holye Name.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:3 Et moi, je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple, parce qu'il a livré de ses enfants à Moloc, souillé mon sanctuaire et profané mon saint nom.(FR) 3 ׃20 וַאֲנִ֞י אֶתֵּ֤ן אֶת־פָּנַי֙ בָּאִ֣ישׁ הַה֔וּא וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹת֖וֹ מִקֶּ֣רֶב עַמּ֑וֹ כִּ֤י מִזַּרְעוֹ֙ נָתַ֣ן לַמֹּ֔לֶךְ לְמַ֗עַן טַמֵּא֙ אֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁ֔י וּלְחַלֵּ֖ל אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשִֽׁי׃ Leviticus Lev 20:3 I will also set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his offspring to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary and to profane My holy name.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:4 ============ Lev 20:4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:(KJV) Leviticus 20:4 And if the people of the lande hide their eyes, and winke at that man when he giueth his children vnto Molech, and kill him not,(Geneva) Lévitique 20:4 Si le peuple du pays détourne ses regards de cet homme, qui livre de ses enfants à Moloc, et s'il ne le fait pas mourir,(FR) 4 ׃20 וְאִ֡ם הַעְלֵ֣ם יַעְלִימֽוּ֩ עַ֨ם הָאָ֜רֶץ אֶת־עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ מִן־הָאִ֣ישׁ הַה֔וּא בְּתִתּ֥וֹ מִזַּרְע֖וֹ לַמֹּ֑לֶךְ לְבִלְתִּ֖י הָמִ֥ית אֹתֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 20:4 If the people of the land, however, should ever disregard that man when he gives any of his offspring to Molech, so as not to put him to death,(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:5 ============ Lev 20:5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.(KJV) Leviticus 20:5 Then will I set my face against that man, and against his familie, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him to comit whoredome with Molech, from among their people.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:5 je tournerai, moi, ma face contre cet homme et contre sa famille, et je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple, avec tous ceux qui se prostituent comme lui en se prostituant à Moloc.(FR) 5 ׃20 וְשַׂמְתִּ֨י אֲנִ֧י אֶת־פָּנַ֛י בָּאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֑וֹ וְהִכְרַתִּ֨י אֹת֜וֹ וְאֵ֣ת ׀ כָּל־הַזֹּנִ֣ים אַחֲרָ֗יו לִזְנ֛וֹת אַחֲרֵ֥י הַמֹּ֖לֶךְ מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 20:5 then I Myself will set My face against that man and against his family, and I will cut off from among their people both him and all those who play the harlot after him, by playing the harlot after Molech.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:6 ============ Lev 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.(KJV) Leviticus 20:6 If any turne after such as worke with spirits, and after soothsayers, to go a whoring after them, then will I set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:6 Si quelqu'un s'adresse aux morts et aux esprits, pour se prostituer après eux, je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.(FR) 6 ׃20 וְהַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּפְנֶ֤ה אֶל־הָֽאֹבֹת֙ וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִ֔ים לִזְנ֖וֹת אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־פָּנַי֙ בַּנֶּ֣פֶשׁ הַהִ֔וא וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י אֹת֖וֹ מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמּֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 20:6 'As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:7 ============ Lev 20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.(KJV) Leviticus 20:7 Sanctifie your selues therefore, and be holie, for I am the Lorde your God.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:7 Vous vous sanctifierez et vous serez saints, car je suis l'Eternel, votre Dieu.(FR) 7 ׃20 וְהִ֨תְקַדִּשְׁתֶּ֔ם וִהְיִיתֶ֖ם קְדֹשִׁ֑ים כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 20:7 You shall consecrate yourselves therefore and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:8 ============ Lev 20:8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.(KJV) Leviticus 20:8 Keepe ye therefore mine ordinances, and doe them. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:17 ============ Lev 20:17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.(KJV) Leviticus 20:17 Also the man that taketh his sister, his fathers daughter, or his mothers daughter, & seeth her shame and she seeth his shame, it is villenie: therefore they shall be cut off in the sight of their people, because he hath vncouered his sisters shame, he shall beare his iniquitie.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:17 Si un homme prend sa soeur, fille de son père ou fille de sa mère, s'il voit sa nudité et qu'elle voie la sienne, c'est une infamie; ils seront retranchés sous les yeux des enfants de leur peuple: il a découvert la nudité de sa soeur, il portera la peine de son péché.(FR) 17 ׃20 וְאִ֣ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִקַּ֣ח אֶת־אֲחֹת֡וֹ בַּת־אָבִ֣יו א֣וֹ בַת־אִ֠מּוֹ וְרָאָ֨ה אֶת־עֶרְוָתָ֜הּ וְהִֽיא־תִרְאֶ֤ה אֶת־עֶרְוָתוֹ֙ חֶ֣סֶד ה֔וּא וְנִ֨כְרְת֔וּ לְעֵינֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י עַמָּ֑ם עֶרְוַ֧ת אֲחֹת֛וֹ גִּלָּ֖ה עֲוֺנ֥וֹ יִשָּֽׂא׃ Leviticus Lev 20:17 'If there is a man who takes his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, so that he sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a disgrace; and they shall be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he bears his guilt.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:18 ============ Lev 20:18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.(KJV) Leviticus 20:18 The man also that lyeth with a woman hauing her disease, and vncouereth her shame, and openeth her fountaine, and she open the foutaine of her blood, they shall bee euen both cut off from among their people.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:18 Si un homme couche avec une femme qui a son indisposition, et découvre sa nudité, s'il découvre son flux, et qu'elle découvre le flux de son sang, ils seront tous deux retranchés du milieu de leur peuple.(FR) 18 ׃20 וְ֠אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁכַּ֨ב אֶת־אִשָּׁ֜ה דָּוָ֗ה וְגִלָּ֤ה אֶת־עֶרְוָתָהּ֙ אֶת־מְקֹרָ֣הּ הֶֽעֱרָ֔ה וְהִ֕יא גִּלְּתָ֖ה אֶת־מְק֣וֹר דָּמֶ֑יהָ וְנִכְרְת֥וּ שְׁנֵיהֶ֖ם מִקֶּ֥רֶב עַמָּֽם׃ Leviticus Lev 20:18 If there is a man who lies with a menstruous woman and uncovers her nakedness, he has laid bare her flow, and she has exposed the flow of her blood; thus both of them shall be cut off from among their people.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:19 ============ Lev 20:19 And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.(KJV) Leviticus 20:19 Moreouer thou shalt not vncouer the shame of thy mothers sister, nor of thy fathers sister: because he hath vncouered his kin, they shall beare their iniquitie.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:19 Tu ne découvriras point la nudité de la soeur de ta mère, ni de la soeur de ton père, car c'est découvrir sa proche parente: ils porteront la peine de leur péché.(FR) 19 ׃20 וְעֶרְוַ֨ת אֲח֧וֹת אִמְּךָ֛ וַאֲח֥וֹת אָבִ֖יךָ לֹ֣א תְגַלֵּ֑ה כִּ֧י אֶת־שְׁאֵר֛וֹ הֶעֱרָ֖ה עֲוֺנָ֥ם יִשָּֽׂאוּ׃ Leviticus Lev 20:19 You shall also not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister or of your father's sister, for such a one has made naked his blood relative; they will bear their guilt.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:20 ============ Lev 20:20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.(KJV) Leviticus 20:20 Likewise the man that lyeth with his fathers brothers wife, and vncouereth his vncles shame: they shall beare their iniquitie, and shall die childlesse.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:20 Si un homme couche avec sa tante, il a découvert la nudité de son oncle; ils porteront la peine de leur péché, ils mourront sans enfant.(FR) 20 ׃20 וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁכַּב֙ אֶת־דֹּ֣דָת֔וֹ עֶרְוַ֥ת דֹּד֖וֹ גִּלָּ֑ה חֶטְאָ֥ם יִשָּׂ֖אוּ עֲרִירִ֥ים יָמֻֽתוּ׃ Leviticus Lev 20:20 If there is a man who lies with his uncle's wife he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they will bear their sin. They will die childless.(nasb) ======= Leviticus 20:21 ============ Lev 20:21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.(KJV) Leviticus 20:21 So the man that taketh his brothers wife, committeth filthines, because he hath vncouered his brothers shame: they shalbe childles.(Geneva) Lévitique 20:21 Si un homme prend la femme de son frère, c'est une impureté; il a découvert la nudité de son frère: ils seront sans enfant.(FR) 21 ׃20 וְאִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִקַּ֛ח אֶת־אֵ֥שֶׁת אָחִ֖יו נִדָּ֣ה הִ֑וא עֶרְוַ֥ת אָחִ֛יו גִּלָּ֖ה עֲרִירִ֥ים יִהְיֽוּ׃ Leviticus Lev 20:21 If there is a man who takes his brother's wife, it is abhorrent; he has uncovered his brother's nakedness.
