Today's Date: ======= Numbers 6:1 ============ Num 6:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(KJV) Numbers 6:1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 6:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:(FR) 1 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 6:1 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:2 ============ Num 6:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:(KJV) Numbers 6:2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, & say vnto them, When a man or a woman doeth separate themselues to vowe a vowe of a Nazarite to separate himselfe vnto the Lord,(Geneva) Nombres 6:2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras: Lorsqu'un homme ou une femme se séparera des autres en faisant voeu de naziréat, pour se consacrer à l'Eternel,(FR) 2 ׃6 דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אִ֣ישׁ אֽוֹ־אִשָּׁ֗ה כִּ֤י יַפְלִא֙ לִנְדֹּר֙ נֶ֣דֶר נָזִ֔יר לְהַזִּ֖יר לַֽיהוָֽה׃ Numbers Num 6:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When a man or woman makes a special vow, the vow of a Nazirite, to dedicate himself to the Lord,(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:3 ============ Num 6:3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.(KJV) Numbers 6:3 He shall absteine fro wine & strong drinke, and shal drinke no sowre wine nor sowre drinke, nor shall drinke any licour of grapes, neither shal eate fresh grapes nor dryed.(Geneva) Nombres 6:3 il s'abstiendra de vin et de boisson enivrante; il ne boira ni vinaigre fait avec du vin, ni vinaigre fait avec une boisson enivrante; il ne boira d'aucune liqueur tirée des raisins, et il ne mangera point de raisins frais ni de raisins secs.(FR) 3 ׃6 מִיַּ֤יִן וְשֵׁכָר֙ יַזִּ֔יר חֹ֥מֶץ יַ֛יִן וְחֹ֥מֶץ שֵׁכָ֖ר לֹ֣א יִשְׁתֶּ֑ה וְכָל־מִשְׁרַ֤ת עֲנָבִים֙ לֹ֣א יִשְׁתֶּ֔ה וַעֲנָבִ֛ים לַחִ֥ים וִיבֵשִׁ֖ים לֹ֥א יֹאכֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 6:3 he shall abstain from wine and strong drink; he shall drink no vinegar, whether made from wine or strong drink, nor shall he drink any grape juice nor eat fresh or dried grapes.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:4 ============ Num 6:4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.(KJV) Numbers 6:4 As long as his abstinence endureth, shall hee eat nothing that is made of the wine of the vine, neither the kernels, nor the huske.(Geneva) Nombres 6:4 Pendant tout le temps de son naziréat, il ne mangera rien de ce qui provient de la vigne, depuis les pépins jusqu'à la peau du raisin.(FR) 4 ׃6 כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֑וֹ מִכֹּל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵעָשֶׂ֜ה מִגֶּ֣פֶן הַיַּ֗יִן מֵחַרְצַנִּ֛ים וְעַד־זָ֖ג לֹ֥א יֹאכֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 6:4 All the days of his separation he shall not eat anything that is produced by the grape vine, from the seeds even to the skin.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:5 ============ Num 6:5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.(KJV) Numbers 6:5 While hee is separate by his vowe, the rasor shall not come vpon his head, vntill the dayes be out, in the which he separateth him selfe vnto the Lord, he shalbe holy, and shall let the lockes of the heare of his head growe.(Geneva) Nombres 6:5 Pendant tout le temps de son naziréat, le rasoir ne passera point sur sa tête; jusqu'à l'accomplissement des jours pour lesquels il s'est consacré à l'Eternel, il sera saint, il laissera croître librement ses cheveux.(FR) 5 ׃6 כָּל־יְמֵי֙ נֶ֣דֶר נִזְר֔וֹ תַּ֖עַר לֹא־יַעֲבֹ֣ר עַל־רֹאשׁ֑וֹ עַד־מְלֹ֨את הַיָּמִ֜ם אֲשֶׁר־יַזִּ֤יר לַיהוָה֙ קָדֹ֣שׁ יִהְיֶ֔ה גַּדֵּ֥ל פֶּ֖רַע שְׂעַ֥ר רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ Numbers Num 6:5 'All the days of his vow of separation no razor shall pass over his head. He shall be holy until the days are fulfilled for which he separated himself to the Lord; he shall let the locks of hair on his head grow long.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:6 ============ Num 6:6 All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.(KJV) Numbers 6:6 During the time that he separateth himselfe vnto the Lord, he shall come at no dead body:(Geneva) Nombres 6:6 Pendant tout le temps qu'il a voué à l'Eternel, il ne s'approchera point d'une personne morte;(FR) 6 ׃6 כָּל־יְמֵ֥י הַזִּיר֖וֹ לַיהוָ֑ה עַל־נֶ֥פֶשׁ מֵ֖ת לֹ֥א יָבֹֽא׃ Numbers Num 6:6 'All the days of his separation to the Lord he shall not go near to a dead person.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:7 ============ Num 6:7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.(KJV) Numbers 6:7 Hee shall not make himselfe vncleane at the death of his father, or mother, brother, or sister: for the consecration of his God is vpon his head.(Geneva) Nombres 6:7 il ne se souillera point à la mort de son père, de sa mère, de son frère ou de sa soeur, car il porte sur sa tête la consécration de son Dieu.(FR) 7 ׃6 לְאָבִ֣יו וּלְאִמּ֗וֹ לְאָחִיו֙ וּלְאַ֣חֹת֔וֹ לֹא־יִטַּמָּ֥א לָהֶ֖ם בְּמֹתָ֑ם כִּ֛י נֵ֥זֶר אֱלֹהָ֖יו עַל־רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ Numbers Num 6:7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father or for his mother, for his brother or for his sister, when they die, because his separation to God is on his head.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:8 ============ Num 6:8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.(KJV) Numbers 6:8 All the dayes of his separation he shalbe holy to the Lord.(Geneva) Nombres 6:8 Pendant tout le temps de son naziréat, il sera consacré à l'Eternel.(FR) 8 ׃6 כֹּ֖ל יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֑וֹ קָדֹ֥שׁ ה֖וּא לַֽיהוָֽה׃ Numbers Num 6:8 All the days of his separation he is holy to the Lord.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:9 ============ Num 6:9 And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.(KJV) Numbers 6:9 And if any dye suddenly by him, or hee beware, then the head of his consecration shall be defiled, and he shall shaue his head in the day of his clensing: in the seuenth day he shall shaue it.(Geneva) Nombres 6:9 Si quelqu'un meurt subitement près de lui, et que sa tête consacrée devienne ainsi souillée, il se rasera la tête le jour de sa purification, il se la rasera le septième jour.(FR) 9 ׃6 וְכִֽי־יָמ֨וּת מֵ֤ת עָלָיו֙ בְּפֶ֣תַע פִּתְאֹ֔ם וְטִמֵּ֖א רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֑וֹ וְגִלַּ֤ח רֹאשׁוֹ֙ בְּי֣וֹם טָהֳרָת֔וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י יְגַלְּחֶֽנּוּ׃ Numbers Num 6:9 'But if a man dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his dedicated head of hair, then he shall shave his head on the day when he becomes clean; he shall shave it on the seventh day.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:10 ============ Num 6:10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:(KJV) Numbers 6:10 And in the eight day hee shall bring two turtles, or two yong pigeons to the Priest, at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Nombres 6:10 Le huitième jour, il apportera au sacrificateur deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.(FR) 10 ׃6 וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יָבִא֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים א֥וֹ שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֑ה אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ Numbers Num 6:10 Then on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the doorway of the tent of meeting.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:11 ============ Num 6:11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.(KJV) Numbers 6:11 Then the Priest shall prepare the one for a sinne offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and shall make an atonement for him, because he sinned by the dead: so shall he halowe his head the same day,(Geneva) Nombres 6:11 Le sacrificateur sacrifiera l'un comme victime expiatoire, et l'autre comme holocauste, et il fera pour lui l'expiation de son péché à l'occasion du mort. Le naziréen sanctifiera ainsi sa tête ce jour-là(FR) 11 ׃6 וְעָשָׂ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן אֶחָ֤ד לְחַטָּאת֙ וְאֶחָ֣ד לְעֹלָ֔ה וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלָ֔יו מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖א עַל־הַנָּ֑פֶשׁ וְקִדַּ֥שׁ אֶת־רֹאשׁ֖וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃ Numbers Num 6:11 The priest shall offer one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, and make atonement for him concerning his sin because of the dead person. And that same day he shall consecrate his head,(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:12 ============ Num 6:12 And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.(KJV) Numbers 6:12 And he shall consecrate vnto the Lorde the dayes of his separation, and shal bring a lambe of a yeere olde for a trespasse offering, and the first dayes shalbe voide: for his consecration was defiled.(Geneva) Nombres 6:12 Il consacrera de nouveau à l'Eternel les jours de son naziréat, et il offrira un agneau d'un an en sacrifice de culpabilité; les jours précédents ne seront point comptés, parce que son naziréat a été souillé.(FR) 12 ׃6 וְהִזִּ֤יר לַֽיהוָה֙ אֶת־יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֔וֹ וְהֵבִ֛יא כֶּ֥בֶשׂ בֶּן־שְׁנָת֖וֹ לְאָשָׁ֑ם וְהַיָּמִ֤ים הָרִאשֹׁנִים֙ יִפְּל֔וּ כִּ֥י טָמֵ֖א נִזְרֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 6:12 and shall dedicate to the Lord his days as a Nazirite, and shall bring a male lamb a year old for a guilt offering; but the former days will be void because his separation was defiled.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:13 ============ Num 6:13 And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:(KJV) Numbers 6:13 This then is the lawe of the Nazarite: When the time of his consecration is out, he shall come to the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,(Geneva) Nombres 6:13 Voici la loi du naziréen. Le jour où il aura accompli le temps de son naziréat, on le fera venir à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.(FR) 13 ׃6 וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַנָּזִ֑יר בְּי֗וֹם מְלֹאת֙ יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֔וֹ יָבִ֣יא אֹת֔וֹ אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ Numbers Num 6:13 'Now this is the law of the Nazirite when the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall bring the offering to the doorway of the tent of meeting.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:14 ============ Num 6:14 And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,(KJV) Numbers 6:14 And hee shall bring his offering vnto the Lorde, an hee lambe of a yeere olde without blemish for a burnt offering, and a shee lambe of a yere olde without blemish for a sinne offring, and a ramme without blemish for peace offrings,(Geneva) Nombres 6:14 Il présentera son offrande à l'Eternel: un agneau d'un an et sans défaut pour l'holocauste, une brebis d'un an et sans défaut pour le sacrifice d'expiation, et un bélier sans défaut pour le sacrifice d'actions de grâces;(FR) 14 ׃6 וְהִקְרִ֣יב אֶת־קָרְבָּנ֣וֹ לַיהוָ֡ה כֶּבֶשׂ֩ בֶּן־שְׁנָת֨וֹ תָמִ֤ים אֶחָד֙ לְעֹלָ֔ה וְכַבְשָׂ֨ה אַחַ֧ת בַּת־שְׁנָתָ֛הּ תְּמִימָ֖ה לְחַטָּ֑את וְאַֽיִל־אֶחָ֥ד תָּמִ֖ים לִשְׁלָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 6:14 He shall present his offering to the Lord: one male lamb a year old without defect for a burnt offering and one ewe-lamb a year old without defect for a sin offering and one ram without defect for a peace offering,(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:15 ============ Num 6:15 And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.(KJV) Numbers 6:15 And a basket of vnleauened bread, of cakes of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and wafers of vnleauened bread anointed with oile, with their meate offring, and their drinke offrings:(Geneva) Nombres 6:15 une corbeille de pains sans levain, de gâteaux de fleur de farine pétris à l'huile, et de galettes sans levain arrosées d'huile, avec l'offrande et la libation ordinaires.(FR) 15 ׃6 וְסַ֣ל מַצּ֗וֹת סֹ֤לֶת חַלֹּת֙ בְּלוּלֹ֣ת בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן וּרְקִיקֵ֥י מַצּ֖וֹת מְשֻׁחִ֣ים בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן וּמִנְחָתָ֖ם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶֽם׃ Numbers Num 6:15 and a basket of unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with oil and unleavened wafers spread with oil, along with their grain offering and their drink offering.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:16 ============ Num 6:16 And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:(KJV) Numbers 6:16 The which the Priest shal bring before the Lorde, and make his sinne offering and his burnt offering.(Geneva) Nombres 6:16 Le sacrificateur présentera ces choses devant l'Eternel, et il offrira sa victime expiatoire et son holocauste;(FR) 16 ׃6 וְהִקְרִ֥יב הַכֹּהֵ֖ן לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְעָשָׂ֥ה אֶת־חַטָּאת֖וֹ וְאֶת־עֹלָתֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 6:16 Then the priest shall present them before the Lord and shall offer his sin offering and his burnt offering.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:17 ============ Num 6:17 And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.(KJV) Numbers 6:17 He shal prepare also the ram for a peace offring vnto the Lorde, with the basket of vnleauened bread, and the Priest shal make his meate offring, and his drinke offring.(Geneva) Nombres 6:17 il offrira le bélier en sacrifice d'actions de grâces à l'Eternel, outre la corbeille de pains sans levain, avec l'offrande et la libation.(FR) 17 ׃6 וְאֶת־הָאַ֜יִל יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה זֶ֤בַח שְׁלָמִים֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה עַ֖ל סַ֣ל הַמַּצּ֑וֹת וְעָשָׂה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶת־מִנְחָת֖וֹ וְאֶת־נִסְכּֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 6:17 He shall also offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord, together with the basket of unleavened cakes; the priest shall likewise offer its grain offering and its drink offering.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:18 ============ Num 6:18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.(KJV) Numbers 6:18 And the Nazarite shall shaue the head of his consecration at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, & shall take the heare of the head of his consecration, and put it in the fire, which is vnder the peace offring.(Geneva) Nombres 6:18 Le naziréen rasera, à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, sa tête consacrée; il prendra les cheveux de sa tête consacrée, et il les mettra sur le feu qui est sous le sacrifice d'actions de grâces.(FR) 18 ׃6 וְגִלַּ֣ח הַנָּזִ֗יר פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֑וֹ וְלָקַ֗ח אֶת־שְׂעַר֙ רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֔וֹ וְנָתַן֙ עַל־הָאֵ֔שׁ אֲשֶׁר־תַּ֖חַת זֶ֥בַח הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 6:18 The Nazirite shall then shave his dedicated head of hair at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and take the dedicated hair of his head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace offerings.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:19 ============ Num 6:19 And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:(KJV) Numbers 6:19 Then the Priest shall take ye sodden shoulder of the ramme, and an vnleauened cake out of the basket, and a wafer vnleauened, and put them vpon the hands of the Nazarite, after he hath shauen his consecration.(Geneva) Nombres 6:19 Le sacrificateur prendra l'épaule cuite du bélier, un gâteau sans levain de la corbeille, et une galette sans levain; et il les posera sur les mains du naziréen, après qu'il aura rasé sa tête consacrée.(FR) 19 ׃6 וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־הַזְּרֹ֣עַ בְּשֵׁלָה֮ מִן־הָאַיִל֒ וְֽחַלַּ֨ת מַצָּ֤ה אַחַת֙ מִן־הַסַּ֔ל וּרְקִ֥יק מַצָּ֖ה אֶחָ֑ד וְנָתַן֙ עַל־כַּפֵּ֣י הַנָּזִ֔יר אַחַ֖ר הִֽתְגַּלְּח֥וֹ אֶת־נִזְרֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 6:19 The priest shall take the ram's shoulder when it has been boiled, and one unleavened cake out of the basket and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his dedicated hair.(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:20 ============ Num 6:20 And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.(KJV) Numbers 6:20 And the Priest shal shake them to & fro before the Lorde: this is an holy thing for the Priest besides the shaken breast, and besides the heaue shoulder: so afterwarde the Nazarite may drinke wine.(Geneva) Nombres 6:20 Le sacrificateur les agitera de côté et d'autre devant l'Eternel: c'est une chose sainte, qui appartient au sacrificateur, avec la poitrine agitée et l'épaule offerte par élévation. Ensuite, le naziréen pourra boire du vin.(FR) 20 ׃6 וְהֵנִיף֩ אוֹתָ֨ם הַכֹּהֵ֥ן ׀ תְּנוּפָה֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ קֹ֤דֶשׁ הוּא֙ לַכֹּהֵ֔ן עַ֚ל חֲזֵ֣ה הַתְּנוּפָ֔ה וְעַ֖ל שׁ֣וֹק הַתְּרוּמָ֑ה וְאַחַ֛ר יִשְׁתֶּ֥ה הַנָּזִ֖יר יָֽיִן׃ Numbers Num 6:20 Then the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord. It is holy for the priest, together with the breast offered by waving and the thigh offered by lifting up; and afterward the Nazirite may drink wine.'(nasb) ======= Numbers 6:21 ============ Num 6:21 This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.(KJV) Numbers 6:21 This is the Lawe of the Nazarite, which he hath vowed, and of his offering vnto the Lord for his consecration, besides that that hee is able to bring: according to the vowe which he vowed, so shall he do after the lawe of his consecration.(Geneva) Nombres 6:21 Telle est la loi pour celui qui fait voeu de naziréat; telle est son offrande à l'Eternel pour son naziréat, outre ce que lui permettront ses ressources. Il accomplira ce qui est ordonné pour le voeu qu'il a fait, selon la loi de son naziréat.(FR) 21 ׃6 זֹ֣את תּוֹרַ֣ת הַנָּזִיר֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדֹּר֒ קָרְבָּנ֤וֹ לַֽיהוָה֙ עַל־נִזְר֔וֹ מִלְּבַ֖ד אֲשֶׁר־תַּשִּׂ֣יג יָד֑וֹ כְּפִ֤י נִדְרוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדֹּ֔ר כֵּ֣ן יַעֲשֶׂ֔ה עַ֖ל תּוֹרַ֥ת נִזְרֽוֹ׃ פ Numbers Num 6:21 "This is the law of the Nazirite who vows his offering to the Lord according to his separation, in addition to what else he can afford; according to his vow which he takes, so he shall do according to the law of his separation."
