and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.(KJV) Numbers 4:14 And shall put vpon it all the instruments thereof, which they occupie about it: the censers, the fleshhookes and the besomes, & the basens, euen al the instruments of the altar and they shal spread vpon it a couering of badgers skinnes, and put to the barres of it.(Geneva) Nombres 4:14 ils mettront dessus tous les ustensiles destinés à son service, les brasiers, les fourchettes, les pelles, les bassins, tous les ustensiles de l'autel, et ils étendront par-dessus une couverture de peaux de dauphins; puis ils placeront les barres de l'autel.(FR) 14 ׃4 וְנָתְנ֣וּ עָ֠לָיו אֶֽת־כָּל־כֵּלָ֞יו אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְֽשָׁרְת֧וּ עָלָ֣יו בָּהֶ֗ם אֶת־הַמַּחְתֹּ֤ת אֶת־הַמִּזְלָגֹת֙ וְאֶת־הַיָּעִ֣ים וְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָקֹ֔ת כֹּ֖ל כְּלֵ֣י הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וּפָרְשׂ֣וּ עָלָ֗יו כְּס֛וּי ע֥וֹר תַּ֖חַשׁ וְשָׂמ֥וּ בַדָּֽיו׃ Numbers Num 4:14 They shall also put on it all its utensils by which they serve in connection with it: the firepans, the forks and shovels and the basins, all the utensils of the altar; and they shall spread a cover of porpoise skin over it and insert its poles.(nasb) ======= Numbers 4:15 ============ Num 4:15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.(KJV) Numbers 4:15 And when Aaron and his sonnes haue made an ende of couering the Sanctuarie, and al the instruments of the Sanctuarie, at the remouing of the host, afterward the sonnes of Kohath shall come to beare it, but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they dye. This is the charge of the sonnes of Kohath in the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Nombres 4:15 Après qu'Aaron et ses fils auront achevé de couvrir le sanctuaire et tous les ustensiles du sanctuaire, les fils de Kehath viendront, au départ du camp, pour les porter; mais ils ne toucheront point les choses saintes, de peur qu'ils ne meurent. Telles sont les fonctions de porteurs, imposées aux fils de Kehath dans la tente d'assignation.(FR) 15 ׃4 וְכִלָּ֣ה אַֽהֲרֹן־וּ֠בָנָיו לְכַסֹּ֨ת אֶת־הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ וְאֶת־כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּדֶשׁ֮ בִּנְסֹ֣עַ הֽ͏ַמַּחֲנֶה֒ וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֗ן יָבֹ֤אוּ בְנֵי־קְהָת֙ לָשֵׂ֔את וְלֹֽא־יִגְּע֥וּ אֶל־הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ וָמֵ֑תוּ אֵ֛לֶּה מַשָּׂ֥א בְנֵֽי־קְהָ֖ת בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ Numbers Num 4:15 When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy objects and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set out, after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them, so that they will not touch the holy objects and die. Thus were they of that tribe nombred, as the Lorde commaunded Moses.(Geneva) Nombres 4:49 On en fit le dénombrement sur l'ordre de l'Eternel par Moïse, en indiquant à chacun le service qu'il devait faire et ce qu'il devait porter; on en fit le dénombrement selon l'ordre que l'Eternel avait donné à Moïse.(FR) 49 ׃4 עַל־פִּ֨י יְהוָ֜ה פָּקַ֤ד אוֹתָם֙ בְּיַד מֹשֶׁ֔ה אִ֥ישׁ אִ֛ישׁ עַל־עֲבֹדָת֖וֹ וְעַל־מַשָּׂא֑וֹ וּפְקֻדָ֕יו אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ פ Numbers Num 4:49 According to the commandment of the Lord through Moses, they were numbered, everyone by his serving or carrying; thus these were his numbered men, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
