Today's Date: ======= Numbers 8:1 ============ Num 8:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(KJV) Numbers 8:1 And the Lorde spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 8:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:(FR) 1 ׃8 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 8:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:2 ============ Num 8:2 Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.(KJV) Numbers 8:2 Speake vnto Aaron, and say vnto him, When thou lightest the lampes, the seuen lampes shall giue light towarde the forefront of the Candlesticke.(Geneva) Nombres 8:2 Parle à Aaron, et tu lui diras: Lorsque tu placeras les lampes sur le chandelier, les sept lampes devront éclairer en face.(FR) 2 ׃8 דַּבֵּר֙ אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֔ן וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֵלָ֑יו בְּהַעֲלֹֽתְךָ֙ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹ֔ת אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה יָאִ֖ירוּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת הַנֵּרֽוֹת׃ Numbers Num 8:2 "Speak to Aaron and say to him, 'When you mount the lamps, the seven lamps will give light in the front of the lampstand.'"(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:3 ============ Num 8:3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.(KJV) Numbers 8:3 And Aaron did so, lighting the lampes thereof towarde ye forefront of the Candlesticke, as the Lorde had commanded Moses.(Geneva) Nombres 8:3 Aaron fit ainsi; il plaça les lampes sur le devant du chandelier, comme l'Eternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.(FR) 3 ׃8 וַיַּ֤עַשׂ כֵּן֙ אַהֲרֹ֔ן אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה הֶעֱלָ֖ה נֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ כּֽ͏ַאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Numbers Num 8:3 Aaron therefore did so; he mounted its lamps at the front of the lampstand, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:4 ============ Num 8:4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.(KJV) Numbers 8:4 And this was the worke of the Candlesticke, euen of golde beaten out with the hammer, both the shafte, and the flowres thereof was beaten out with the hammer: according to the paterne, which the Lord had shewed Moses, so made he the Candlesticke.(Geneva) Nombres 8:4 Le chandelier était d'or battu; jusqu'à son pied, jusqu'à ses fleurs, il était d'or battu; Moïse avait fait le chandelier d'après le modèle que l'Eternel lui avait montré.(FR) 4 ׃8 וְזֶ֨ה מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה הַמְּנֹרָה֙ מִקְשָׁ֣ה זָהָ֔ב עַד־יְרֵכָ֥הּ עַד־פִּרְחָ֖הּ מִקְשָׁ֣ה הִ֑וא כַּמַּרְאֶ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶרְאָ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֥ן עָשָׂ֖ה אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ פ Numbers Num 8:4 Now this was the workmanship of the lampstand, hammered work of gold; from its base to its flowers it was hammered work; according to the pattern which the Lord had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand. (nasb) ======= Numbers 8:5 ============ Num 8:5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(KJV) Numbers 8:5 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 8:5 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:(FR) 5 ׃8 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 8:5 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:6 ============ Num 8:6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.(KJV) Numbers 8:6 Take the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and purifie them.(Geneva) Nombres 8:6 Prends les Lévites du milieu des enfants d'Israël, et purifie-les.(FR) 6 ׃8 קַ֚ח אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְטִהַרְתָּ֖ אֹתָֽם׃ Numbers Num 8:6 "Take the Levites from among the sons of Israel and cleanse them.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:7 ============ Num 8:7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.(KJV) Numbers 8:7 And thus shalt thou doe vnto them, when thou purifiest them, Sprinckle water of purification vpon them, & let them shaue all their flesh, and wash their clothes: so they shalbe cleane.(Geneva) Nombres 8:7 Voici comment tu les purifieras. Fais sur eux une aspersion d'eau expiatoire; qu'ils fassent passer le rasoir sur tout leur corps, qu'ils lavent leurs vêtements, et qu'ils se purifient.(FR) 7 ׃8 וְכֹֽה־תַעֲשֶׂ֤ה לָהֶם֙ לְטֽ͏ַהֲרָ֔ם הַזֵּ֥ה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מֵ֣י חַטָּ֑את וְהֶעֱבִ֤ירוּ תַ֙עַר֙ עַל־כָּל־בְּשָׂרָ֔ם וְכִבְּס֥וּ בִגְדֵיהֶ֖ם וְהִטֶּהָֽרוּ׃ Numbers Num 8:7 Thus you shall do to them, for their cleansing: sprinkle purifying water on them, and let them use a razor over their whole body and wash their clothes, and they will be clean.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:8 ============ Num 8:8 Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.(KJV) Numbers 8:8 Then they shal take a yong bullocke with his meate offring of fine floure, mingled with oyle, and another yong bullocke shalt thou take for a sinne offring.(Geneva) Nombres 8:8 Ils prendront ensuite un jeune taureau, avec l'offrande ordinaire de fleur de farine pétrie à l'huile; et tu prendras un autre jeune taureau pour le sacrifice d'expiation.(FR) 8 ׃8 וְלָֽקְחוּ֙ פַּ֣ר בֶּן־בָּקָ֔ר וּמִנְחָת֔וֹ סֹ֖לֶת בְּלוּלָ֣ה בַשָּׁ֑מֶן וּפַר־שֵׁנִ֥י בֶן־בָּקָ֖ר תִּקַּ֥ח לְחַטָּֽאת׃ Numbers Num 8:8 Then let them take a bull with its grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and a second bull you shall take for a sin offering.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:9 ============ Num 8:9 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:(KJV) Numbers 8:9 Then thou shalt bring the Leuites before the Tabernacle of the Congregation, & asseble all the Congregation of the children of Israel.(Geneva) Nombres 8:9 Tu feras approcher les Lévites devant la tente d'assignation, et tu convoqueras toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël.(FR) 9 ׃8 וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֙ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְהִ֨קְהַלְתָּ֔ אֶֽת־כָּל־עֲדַ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 8:9 So you shall present the Levites before the tent of meeting. You shall also assemble the whole congregation of the sons of Israel,(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:10 ============ Num 8:10 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:(KJV) Numbers 8:10 Thou shalt bring the Leuites also before the Lorde, and the children of Israel shall put their handes vpon the Leuites.(Geneva) Nombres 8:10 Tu feras approcher les Lévites devant l'Eternel; et les enfants d'Israël poseront leurs mains sur les Lévites.(FR) 10 ׃8 וְהִקְרַבְתָּ֥ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֖ם לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְסָמְכ֧וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶת־יְדֵיהֶ֖ם עַל־הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ Numbers Num 8:10 and present the Levites before the Lord; and the sons of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:11 ============ Num 8:11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.(KJV) Numbers 8:11 And Aaron shall offer the Leuites before the Lord, as a shake offring of ye childre of Israel, that they may execute the seruice of the Lorde.(Geneva) Nombres 8:11 Aaron fera tourner de côté et d'autre les Lévites devant l'Eternel, comme une offrande de la part des enfants d'Israël; et ils seront consacrés au service de l'Eternel.(FR) 11 ׃8 וְהֵנִיף֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֤ם תְּנוּפָה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהָי֕וּ לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃ Numbers Num 8:11 Aaron then shall present the Levites before the Lord as a wave offering from the sons of Israel, that they may qualify to perform the service of the Lord.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:12 ============ Num 8:12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.(KJV) Numbers 8:12 And the Leuites shall put their handes vpon the heades of the bullockes, and make thou the one a sinne offring, and the other a burnt offring vnto the Lorde, that thou mayest make an atonement for the Leuites.(Geneva) Nombres 8:12 Les Lévites poseront leurs mains sur la tête des taureaux; et tu offriras l'un en sacrifice d'expiation, et l'autre en holocauste, afin de faire l'expiation pour les Lévites.(FR) 12 ׃8 וְהַלְוִיִּם֙ יִסְמְכ֣וּ אֶת־יְדֵיהֶ֔ם עַ֖ל רֹ֣אשׁ הַפָּרִ֑ים וַ֠עֲשֵׂה אֶת־הָאֶחָ֨ד חַטָּ֜את וְאֶת־הָאֶחָ֤ד עֹלָה֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה לְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ Numbers Num 8:12 Now the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls; then offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the Lord, to make atonement for the Levites.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:13 ============ Num 8:13 And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.(KJV) Numbers 8:13 And thou shalt set the Leuites before Aaron and before his sonnes, & offer the as a shake offring to the Lorde.(Geneva) Nombres 8:13 Tu feras tenir les Lévites debout devant Aaron et devant ses fils, et tu les feras tourner de côté et d'autre comme une offrande à l'Eternel.(FR) 13 ׃8 וְהַֽעֲמַדְתָּ֙ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לִפְנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹ֖ן וְלִפְנֵ֣י בָנָ֑יו וְהֵנַפְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֛ם תְּנוּפָ֖ה לַֽיהוָֽה׃ Numbers Num 8:13 You shall have the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons so as to present them as a wave offering to the Lord.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:14 ============ Num 8:14 Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.(KJV) Numbers 8:14 Thus thou shalt separate the Leuites from among the children of Israel, and the Leuites shal be mine.(Geneva) Nombres 8:14 Tu sépareras les Lévites du milieu des enfants d'Israël; et les Lévites m'appartiendront.(FR) 14 ׃8 וְהִבְדַּלְתָּ֙ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהָ֥יוּ לִ֖י הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ Numbers Num 8:14 "Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and the Levites shall be Mine.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:15 ============ Num 8:15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.(KJV) Numbers 8:15 And afterwarde shall the Leuites goe in, to serue in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and thou shalt purifie them and offer them, as a shake offering.(Geneva) Nombres 8:15 Après cela, les Lévites viendront faire le service dans la tente d'assignation. But you shall cleanse them and present them as a wave offering;(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:16 ============ Num 8:16 For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.(KJV) Numbers 8:16 For they are freely giuen vnto me from among the children of Israel, for such as open any wombe: for all the first borne of the children of Israel haue I taken them vnto me.(Geneva) Nombres 8:16 Car ils me sont entièrement donnés du milieu des enfants d'Israël: je les ai pris pour moi à la place des premiers-nés, de tous les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël.(FR) 16 ׃8 כִּי֩ נְתֻנִ֨ים נְתֻנִ֥ים הֵ֙מָּה֙ לִ֔י מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל תַּחַת֩ פִּטְרַ֨ת כָּל־רֶ֜חֶם בְּכ֥וֹר כֹּל֙ מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לָקַ֥חְתִּי אֹתָ֖ם לִֽי׃ Numbers Num 8:16 for they are wholly given to Me from among the sons of Israel. I have taken them for Myself instead of every first issue of the womb, the firstborn of all the sons of Israel.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:17 ============ Num 8:17 For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.(KJV) Numbers 8:17 For all the first borne of the children of Israel are mine, both of man and of beast: since the day that I smote euery first borne in the land of Egypt, I sanctified them for my selfe.(Geneva) Nombres 8:17 Car tout premier-né des enfants d'Israël m'appartient, tant des hommes que des animaux; on the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for Myself.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:18 ============ Num 8:18 And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.(KJV) Numbers 8:18 And I haue taken the Leuites for all the first borne of the children of Israel,(Geneva) Nombres 8:18 Et j'ai pris les Lévites à la place de tous les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël.(FR) 18 ׃8 וָאֶקַּח֙ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם תַּ֥חַת כָּל־בְּכ֖וֹר בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 8:18 But I have taken the Levites instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:19 ============ Num 8:19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.(KJV) Numbers 8:19 And haue giuen the Leuites as a gift vnto Aaron, and to his sonnes from among the children of Israel, to do the seruice of the children of Israel in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come neere vnto the Sanctuarie.(Geneva) Nombres 8:19 J'ai donné les Lévites entièrement à Aaron et à ses fils, du milieu des enfants d'Israël, pour qu'ils fassent le service des enfants d'Israël dans la tente d'assignation, pour qu'ils fassent l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël, et pour que les enfants d'Israël ne soient frappés d'aucune plaie, en s'approchant du sanctuaire.(FR) 19 ׃8 וָאֶתְּנָ֨ה אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֜ם נְתֻנִ֣ים ׀ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּלְבָנָ֗יו מִתּוֹךְ֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לַעֲבֹ֞ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּלְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֨א יִהְיֶ֜ה בִּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נֶ֔גֶף בְּגֶ֥שֶׁת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ Numbers Num 8:19 I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to perform the service of the sons of Israel at the tent of meeting and to make atonement on behalf of the sons of Israel, so that there will be no plague among the sons of Israel by their coming near to the sanctuary."(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:20 ============ Num 8:20 And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.(KJV) Numbers 8:20 Then Moses and Aaron and all the Cogregation of the children of Israel did with the Leuites, according vnto all that the Lorde had commanded Moses concerning the Leuites: so did the children of Israel vnto them.(Geneva) Nombres 8:20 Moïse, Aaron et toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, firent à l'égard des Lévites tout ce que l'Eternel avait ordonné à Moïse touchant les Lévites; ainsi firent à leur égard les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 20 ׃8 וַיַּ֨עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֧ה וְאַהֲרֹ֛ן וְכָל־עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַלְוִיִּ֑ם כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם כֵּן־עָשׂ֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Numbers Num 8:20 Thus did Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the sons of Israel to the Levites; according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the sons of Israel did to them.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:21 ============ Num 8:21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.(KJV) Numbers 8:21 So the Leuites were purified, and washed their clothes, and Aaron offred them as a shake offring before the Lord, and Aaron made an atonement for them, to purifie them.(Geneva) Nombres 8:21 Les Lévites se purifièrent, et lavèrent leurs vêtements; Aaron les fit tourner de côté et d'autre comme une offrande devant l'Eternel, et il fit l'expiation pour eux, afin de les purifier.(FR) 21 ׃8 וַיִּֽתְחַטְּא֣וּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם וַֽיְכַבְּסוּ֙ בִּגְדֵיהֶ֔ם וַיָּ֨נֶף אַהֲרֹ֥ן אֹתָ֛ם תְּנוּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיְכַפֵּ֧ר עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם אַהֲרֹ֖ן לְטַהֲרָֽם׃ Numbers Num 8:21 The Levites, too, purified themselves from sin and washed their clothes; and Aaron presented them as a wave offering before the Lord. Aaron also made atonement for them to cleanse them.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:22 ============ Num 8:22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.(KJV) Numbers 8:22 And after that, went the Leuites in to doe their seruice in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, before Aaron and before his sonnes: as the Lorde had commaunded Moses concerning the Leuites, so they did vnto them.(Geneva) Nombres 8:22 Après cela, les Lévites vinrent faire leur service dans la tente d'assignation, en présence d'Aaron et de ses fils, selon ce que l'Eternel avait ordonné à Moïse touchant les Lévites; ainsi fut-il fait à leur égard.(FR) 22 ׃8 וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֞ן בָּ֣אוּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם לַעֲבֹ֤ד אֶת־עֲבֹֽדָתָם֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד לִפְנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹ֖ן וְלִפְנֵ֣י בָנָ֑יו כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה֙ עַל־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם כֵּ֖ן עָשׂ֥וּ לָהֶֽם׃ ס Numbers Num 8:22 Then after that the Levites went in to perform their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron and before his sons; just as the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them. (nasb) ======= Numbers 8:23 ============ Num 8:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(KJV) Numbers 8:23 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 8:23 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:(FR) 23 ׃8 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 8:23 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:24 ============ Num 8:24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:(KJV) Numbers 8:24 This also belongeth to the Leuites: from fiue and twentie yeere olde and vpwarde, they shall goe in, to execute their office in the seruice of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.(Geneva) Nombres 8:24 Voici ce qui concerne les Lévites. Depuis l'âge de vingt-cinq ans et au-dessus, tout Lévite entrera au service de la tente d'assignation pour y exercer une fonction.(FR) 24 ׃8 זֹ֖את אֲשֶׁ֣ר לַלְוִיִּ֑ם מִבֶּן֩ חָמֵ֨שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה יָבוֹא֙ לִצְבֹ֣א צָבָ֔א בַּעֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ Numbers Num 8:24 "This is what applies to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall enter to perform service in the work of the tent of meeting.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:25 ============ Num 8:25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:(KJV) Numbers 8:25 And after the age of fiftie yeere, they shall cease from executing the office, and shall serue no more:(Geneva) Nombres 8:25 Depuis l'âge de cinquante ans, il sortira de fonction, et ne servira plus.(FR) 25 ׃8 וּמִבֶּן֙ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה יָשׁ֖וּב מִצְּבָ֣א הָעֲבֹדָ֑ה וְלֹ֥א יַעֲבֹ֖ד עֽוֹד׃ Numbers Num 8:25 But at the age of fifty years they shall retire from service in the work and not work any more.(nasb) ======= Numbers 8:26 ============ Num 8:26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.(kjv) Numbers 8:26 But they shal minister with their brethre in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, to keepe things committed to their charge, but they shall doe no seruice: thus shalt thou doe vnto the Leuites touching their charges.(Geneva) Nombres 8:26 Il aidera ses frères dans la tente d'assignation, pour garder ce qui est remis à leurs soins; mais il ne fera plus de service. Tu agiras ainsi à l'égard des Lévites pour ce qui concerne leurs fonctions.(FR) 26 ׃8 וְשֵׁרֵ֨ת אֶת־אֶחָ֜יו בְּאֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ לִשְׁמֹ֣ר מִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת וַעֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֣א יַעֲבֹ֑ד כָּ֛כָה תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה לַלְוִיִּ֖ם בְּמִשְׁמְרֹתָֽם׃ פ Numbers Num 8:26 They may, however, assist their brothers in the tent of meeting, to keep an obligation, but they themselves shall do no work. Thus you shall deal with the Levites concerning their obligations." (nasb) ======= Numbers 9:1 ============ Num 9:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,(KJV) Numbers 9:1 And the Lorde spake vnto Moses in the wildernes of Sinai, in the first moneth of the second yeere, after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 9:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, dans le désert de Sinaï, le premier mois de la seconde année après leur sortie du pays d'Egypte.
