Today's Date: ======= Numbers 30:1 ============ Num 30:1 And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.(KJV) Numbers 30:1 (30:2) Moses also spake vnto the heads of ye tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded,(Geneva) Nombres 30:1 Moïse parla aux chefs des tribus des enfants d'Israël, et dit: Voici ce que l'Eternel ordonne.(FR) 2 ׃30 וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־רָאשֵׁ֣י הַמַּטּ֔וֹת לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָֽה׃ Numbers Num 30:1 Then Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel, saying, "This is the word which the Lord has commanded.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:2 ============ Num 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.(KJV) Numbers 30:2 (30:3) Whosoeuer voweth a vow vnto the Lord, or sweareth an othe to binde him selfe by a bonde, he shall not breake his promise, but shall do according to al that proceedeth out of his mouth.(Geneva) Nombres 30:2 Lorsqu'un homme fera un voeu à l'Eternel, ou un serment pour se lier par un engagement, il ne violera point sa parole, il agira selon tout ce qui est sorti de sa bouche.(FR) 3 ׃30 אִישׁ֩ כִּֽי־יִדֹּ֨ר נֶ֜דֶר לַֽיהוָ֗ה אֽוֹ־הִשָּׁ֤בַע שְׁבֻעָה֙ לֶאְסֹ֤ר אִסָּר֙ עַל־נַפְשׁ֔וֹ לֹ֥א יַחֵ֖ל דְּבָר֑וֹ כְּכָל־הַיֹּצֵ֥א מִפִּ֖יו יַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ Numbers Num 30:2 If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or takes an oath to bind himself with a binding obligation, he shall not violate his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:3 ============ Num 30:3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;(KJV) Numbers 30:3 (30:4) If a woman also vow a vow vnto the Lord, and binde her selfe by a bonde, being in her fathers house, in the time of her youth,(Geneva) Nombres 30:3 Lorsqu'une femme, dans sa jeunesse et à la maison de son père, fera un voeu à l'Eternel et se liera par un engagement,(FR) 4 ׃30 וְאִשָּׁ֕ה כִּֽי־תִדֹּ֥ר נֶ֖דֶר לַיהוָ֑ה וְאָסְרָ֥ה אִסָּ֛ר בְּבֵ֥ית אָבִ֖יהָ בִּנְעֻרֶֽיהָ׃ Numbers Num 30:3 "Also if a woman makes a vow to the Lord, and binds herself by an obligation in her father's house in her youth,(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:4 ============ Num 30:4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.(KJV) Numbers 30:4 (30:5) And her father heare her vowe and bonde, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, and her father hold his peace concerning her, then all her vowes shall stande, and euery bonde, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, shall stand.(Geneva) Nombres 30:4 et que son père aura connaissance du voeu qu'elle a fait et de l'engagement par lequel elle s'est liée, -si son père garde le silence envers elle, tout voeu qu'elle aura fait sera valable, et tout engagement par lequel elle se sera liée sera valable;(FR) 5 ׃30 וְשָׁמַ֨ע אָבִ֜יהָ אֶת־נִדְרָ֗הּ וֽ͏ֶאֱסָרָהּ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֽ͏ָסְרָ֣ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֔הּ וְהֶחֱרִ֥ישׁ לָ֖הּ אָבִ֑יהָ וְקָ֙מוּ֙ כָּל־נְדָרֶ֔יהָ וְכָל־אִסָּ֛ר אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָקֽוּם׃ Numbers Num 30:4 and her father hears her vow and her obligation by which she has bound herself, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she has bound herself shall stand.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:5 ============ Num 30:5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.(KJV) Numbers 30:5 (30:6) But if her father disalow her the same day that he heareth all her vowes and bondes, wherewith she hath bound her selfe, they shall not bee of value, and the Lorde will forgiue her, because her father disalowed her.(Geneva) Nombres 30:5 mais si son père la désapprouve le jour où il en a connaissance, tous ses voeux et tous les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée n'auront aucune valeur; et l'Eternel lui pardonnera, parce qu'elle a été désapprouvée de son père.(FR) 6 ׃30 וְאִם־הֵנִ֨יא אָבִ֣יהָ אֹתָהּ֮ בְּי֣וֹם שָׁמְעוֹ֒ כָּל־נְדָרֶ֗יהָ וֽ͏ֶאֱסָרֶ֛יהָ אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ לֹ֣א יָק֑וּם וַֽיהוָה֙ יִֽסְלַח־לָ֔הּ כִּי־הֵנִ֥יא אָבִ֖יהָ אֹתָֽהּ׃ Numbers Num 30:5 But if her father should forbid her on the day he hears of it, none of her vows or her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the Lord will forgive her because her father had forbidden her.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:6 ============ Num 30:6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;(KJV) Numbers 30:6 (30:7) And if she haue an husband when she voweth or pronounceth ought with her lips, wherewith she bindeth her selfe,(Geneva) Nombres 30:6 Lorsqu'elle sera mariée, après avoir fait des voeux, ou s'être liée par une parole échappée de ses lèvres,(FR) 7 ׃30 וְאִם־הָי֤וֹ תִֽהְיֶה֙ לְאִ֔ישׁ וּנְדָרֶ֖יהָ עָלֶ֑יהָ א֚וֹ מִבְטָ֣א שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָסְרָ֖ה עַל־נַפְשָֽׁהּ׃ Numbers Num 30:6 "However, if she should marry while under her vows or the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself,(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:7 ============ Num 30:7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.(KJV) Numbers 30:7 (30:8) If her husband heard it, & holdeth his peace concerning her, the same day he heareth it, then her vowe shall stande, and her bondes wherewith she bindeth her selfe shall stand in effect.(Geneva) Nombres 30:7 et que son mari en aura connaissance, -s'il garde le silence envers elle le jour où il en a connaissance, ses voeux seront valables, et les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée seront valables;(FR) 8 ׃30 וְשָׁמַ֥ע אִישָׁ֛הּ בְּי֥וֹם שָׁמְע֖וֹ וְהֶחֱרִ֣ישׁ לָ֑הּ וְקָ֣מוּ נְדָרֶ֗יהָ וֶֽאֱסָרֶ֛הָ אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָקֻֽמוּ׃ Numbers Num 30:7 and her husband hears of it and says nothing to her on the day he hears it, then her vows shall stand and her obligations by which she has bound herself shall stand.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:8 ============ Num 30:8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.(KJV) Numbers 30:8 (30:9) But if her husbande disalow her the same day that hee heareth it, then shall hee make her vowe which shee hath made, and that that shee hath pronounced with her lips, wherewith shee bound her selfe, of none effect: and the Lorde will forgiue her.(Geneva) Nombres 30:8 mais si son mari la désapprouve le jour où il en a connaissance, il annulera le voeu qu'elle a fait et la parole échappée de ses lèvres, par laquelle elle s'est liée; et l'Eternel lui pardonnera.(FR) 9 ׃30 וְ֠אִם בְּי֨וֹם שְׁמֹ֣עַ אִישָׁהּ֮ יָנִ֣יא אוֹתָהּ֒ וְהֵפֵ֗ר אֶת־נִדְרָהּ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ וְאֵת֙ מִבְטָ֣א שְׂפָתֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָסְרָ֖ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֑הּ וַיהוָ֖ה יִֽסְלַֽח־לָֽהּ׃ Numbers Num 30:8 But if on the day her husband hears of it, he forbids her, then he shall annul her vow which she is under and the rash statement of her lips by which she has bound herself; and the Lord will forgive her.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:9 ============ Num 30:9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.(KJV) Numbers 30:9 (30:10) But euery vowe of a widowe, and of her that is diuorced (wherewith she hath bound her selfe) shall stand in effect with her.(Geneva) Nombres 30:9 Le voeu d'une femme veuve ou répudiée, l'engagement quelconque par lequel elle se sera liée, sera valable pour elle.(FR) 10 ׃30 וְנֵ֥דֶר אַלְמָנָ֖ה וּגְרוּשָׁ֑ה כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָק֥וּם עָלֶֽיהָ׃ Numbers Num 30:9 "But the vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, everything by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:10 ============ Num 30:10 And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;(KJV) Numbers 30:10 (30:11) And if she vowed in her husbands house, or bound her selfe streightly with an othe,(Geneva) Nombres 30:10 Lorsqu'une femme, dans la maison de son mari, fera des voeux ou se liera par un serment,(FR) 11 ׃30 וְאִם־בֵּ֥ית אִישָׁ֖הּ נָדָ֑רָה אֽוֹ־אָסְרָ֥ה אִסָּ֛ר עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ בִּשְׁבֻעָֽה׃ Numbers Num 30:10 However, if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound herself by an obligation with an oath,(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:11 ============ Num 30:11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.(KJV) Numbers 30:11 (30:12) And her husband hath heard it, and helde his peace cocerning her, not disalowing her, then all her vowes shall stand, and euery bond, wherewith she bound her selfe, shall stand in effect.(Geneva) Nombres 30:11 et que son mari en aura connaissance, -s'il garde le silence envers elle et ne la désapprouve pas, tous ses voeux seront valables, et tous les engagements par lesquels elle se sera liée seront valables;(FR) 12 ׃30 וְשָׁמַ֤ע אִישָׁהּ֙ וְהֶחֱרִ֣שׁ לָ֔הּ לֹ֥א הֵנִ֖יא אֹתָ֑הּ וְקָ֙מוּ֙ כָּל־נְדָרֶ֔יהָ וְכָל־אִסָּ֛ר אֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָ֥ה עַל־נַפְשָׁ֖הּ יָקֽוּם׃ Numbers Num 30:11 and her husband heard it, but said nothing to her and did not forbid her, then all her vows shall stand and every obligation by which she bound herself shall stand.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:12 ============ Num 30:12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.(KJV) Numbers 30:12 (30:13) But if her husband disanulled them, the same day that he heard them, nothing that proceeded out of her lippes concerning her vowes or concerning her bondes, shall stand in effect: for her husband hath disanulled them: and the Lord will forgiue her.(Geneva) Nombres 30:12 mais si son mari les annule le jour où il en a connaissance, tout voeu et tout engagement sortis de ses lèvres n'auront aucune valeur, son mari les a annulés; et l'Eternel lui pardonnera.(FR) 13 ׃30 וְאִם־הָפֵר֩ יָפֵ֨ר אֹתָ֥ם ׀ אִישָׁהּ֮ בְּי֣וֹם שָׁמְעוֹ֒ כָּל־מוֹצָ֨א שְׂפָתֶ֧יהָ לִנְדָרֶ֛יהָ וּלְאִסַּ֥ר נַפְשָׁ֖הּ לֹ֣א יָק֑וּם אִישָׁ֣הּ הֲפֵרָ֔ם וַיהוָ֖ה יִֽסְלַֽח־לָֽהּ׃ Numbers Num 30:12 But if her husband indeed annuls them on the day he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning the obligation of herself shall not stand; her husband has annulled them, and the Lord will forgive her.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:13 ============ Num 30:13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.(KJV) Numbers 30:13 (30:14) So euery vowe, and euery othe or bonde, made to humble the soule, her husband may stablish it, or her husband may breake it.(Geneva) Nombres 30:13 Son mari peut ratifier et son mari peut annuler tout voeu, tout serment par lequel elle s'engage à mortifier sa personne.(FR) 14 ׃30 כָּל־נֵ֛דֶר וְכָל־שְׁבֻעַ֥ת אִסָּ֖ר לְעַנֹּ֣ת נָ֑פֶשׁ אִישָׁ֥הּ יְקִימֶ֖נּוּ וְאִישָׁ֥הּ יְפֵרֶֽנּוּ׃ Numbers Num 30:13 "Every vow and every binding oath to humble herself, her husband may confirm it or her husband may annul it.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:14 ============ Num 30:14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.(KJV) Numbers 30:14 (30:15) But if her husband holde his peace concerning her from day to day, then he stablisheth al her vowes and all her bondes which shee hath made: hee hath confirmed them because he held his peace concerning her the same day that hee hearde them.(Geneva) Nombres 30:14 S'il garde de jour en jour le silence envers elle, il ratifie ainsi tous les voeux ou tous les engagements par lesquels elle s'est liée; il les ratifie, parce qu'il a gardé le silence envers elle le jour où il en a eu connaissance.(FR) 15 ׃30 וְאִם־הַחֲרֵשׁ֩ יַחֲרִ֨ישׁ לָ֥הּ אִישָׁהּ֮ מִיּ֣וֹם אֶל־יוֹם֒ וְהֵקִים֙ אֶת־כָּל־נְדָרֶ֔יהָ א֥וֹ אֶת־כָּל־אֱסָרֶ֖יהָ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלֶ֑יהָ הֵקִ֣ים אֹתָ֔ם כִּי־הֶחֱרִ֥שׁ לָ֖הּ בְּי֥וֹם שָׁמְעֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 30:14 But if her husband indeed says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all her obligations which are on her; he has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard them.(nasb) ======= Numbers 30:15 ============ Num 30:15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them;
