And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.(KJV) 1 Samuel 15:11 It repenteth me that I haue made Saul King: for he is turned from me, and hath not performed my commandements; Samuel was mooued, and cryed vnto the Lord all night.(Geneva) 1 Samuel 15:11 Je me repens d'avoir établi Saül pour roi, car il se détourne de moi et il n'observe point mes paroles. And Samuel was distressed and cried out to the Lord all night.(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 15:12 ============ 1Sa 15:12 And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.(KJV) 1 Samuel 15:12 And when Samuel arose early to meete Saul in the morning, one tolde Samuel, saying, Saul is gone to Carmel: and beholde, he hath made him there a place, from whence he returned, and departed, and is gone downe to Gilgal.(Geneva) 1 Samuel 15:12 Il se leva de bon matin, pour aller au-devant de Saül. And he said to him, "Speak!"(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 15:17 ============ 1Sa 15:17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?(KJV) 1 Samuel 15:17 Then Samuel saide, When thou wast litle in thine owne sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel? And the Lord anointed you king over Israel,(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 15:18 ============ 1Sa 15:18 And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.(KJV) 1 Samuel 15:18 And the Lord sent thee on a iourney, and saide, Goe, and destroy those sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them, vntill thou destroy them.(Geneva) 1 Samuel 15:18 L'Eternel t'avait fait partir, en disant: Va, et dévoue par interdit ces pécheurs, les Amalécites; tu leur feras la guerre jusqu'à ce que tu les aies exterminés.(FR) 18 ׃15 וַיִּשְׁלָחֲךָ֥ יְהוָ֖ה בְּדָ֑רֶךְ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר לֵ֣ךְ וְהַחֲרַמְתָּ֞ה אֶת־הַֽחַטָּאִים֙ אֶת־עֲמָלֵ֔ק וְנִלְחַמְתָּ֣ ב֔וֹ עַ֥ד כַּלּוֹתָ֖ם אֹתָֽם׃ Samuel1 1Sa 15:18 and the Lord sent you on a mission, and said, 'Go and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are exterminated.'(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 15:19 ============ 1Sa 15:19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?(KJV) 1 Samuel 15:19 Nowe wherefore hast thou not obeyed the voyce of the Lorde, but hast turned to the pray, and hast done wickedly in the sight of the Lord?(Geneva) 1 Samuel 15:19 Pourquoi n'as-tu pas écouté la voix de l'Eternel? pourquoi t'es-tu jeté sur le butin, et as-tu fait ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Eternel?(FR) 19 ׃15 וְלָ֥מָּה לֹא־שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה וַתַּ֙עַט֙ אֶל־הַשָּׁלָ֔ל וַתַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ ס Samuel1 1Sa 15:19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord, but rushed upon the spoil and did what was evil in the sight of the Lord?"(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 15:20 ============ 1Sa 15:20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.(KJV) 1 Samuel 15:20 And Saul saide vnto Samuel, Yea, I haue obeyed the voyce of the Lorde, and haue gone the way which the Lord sent me, & haue brought Agag the King of Amalek, and haue destroyed the Amalekites.(Geneva) 1 Samuel 15:20 Saül répondit à Samuel: J'ai bien écouté la voix de l'Eternel, et j'ai suivi le chemin par lequel m'envoyait l'Eternel.
