Je l'ai rejeté, afin qu'il ne règne plus sur Israël. Remplis ta corne d'huile, et va; je t'enverrai chez Isaï, Bethléhémite, car j'ai vu parmi ses fils celui que je désire pour roi.(FR) 1 ׃16 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל עַד־מָתַי֙ אַתָּה֙ מִתְאַבֵּ֣ל אֶל־שָׁא֔וּל וַאֲנִ֣י מְאַסְתִּ֔יו מִמְּלֹ֖ךְ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מַלֵּ֨א קַרְנְךָ֜ שֶׁ֗מֶן וְלֵ֤ךְ אֶֽשְׁלָחֲךָ֙ אֶל־יִשַׁ֣י בֵּֽית־הַלַּחְמִ֔י כִּֽי־רָאִ֧יתִי בְּבָנָ֛יו לִ֖י מֶֽלֶךְ׃ Samuel1 1Sa 16:1 Now the Lord said to Samuel, "How long will you grieve over Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have selected a king for Myself among his sons."(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 16:2 ============ 1Sa 16:2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. When Saul hears of it, he will kill me." And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?(KJV) 1 Samuel 16:4 So Samuel did that the Lorde bade him, and came to Beth-lehem, and the Elders of the towne were astonied at his coming, and sayd, Commest thou peaceablie?(Geneva) 1 Samuel 16:4 Samuel fit ce que l'Eternel avait dit, et il alla à Bethléhem. And the elders of the city came trembling to meet him and said, "Do you come in peace?"(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 16:5 ============ 1Sa 16:5 And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.(KJV) 1 Samuel 16:5 And he answeared, Yea: I am come to doe sacrifice vnto the Lorde: sanctifie your selues, and come with me to the sacrifice; he sanctified Ishai & his sonnes, & called them to the sacrifice.(Geneva) 1 Samuel 16:5 Il répondit: Oui; je viens pour offrir un sacrifice à l'Eternel. Consecrate yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice." L'Eternel ne considère pas ce que l'homme considère; l'homme regarde à ce qui frappe les yeux, mais l'Eternel regarde au coeur.(FR) 7 ׃16 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל אַל־תַּבֵּ֧ט אֶל־מַרְאֵ֛הוּ וְאֶל־גְּבֹ֥הַּ קוֹמָת֖וֹ כִּ֣י מְאַסְתִּ֑יהוּ כִּ֣י ׀ לֹ֗א אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִרְאֶה֙ הָאָדָ֔ם כִּ֤י הָֽאָדָם֙ יִרְאֶ֣ה לַעֵינַ֔יִם וַיהוָ֖ה יִרְאֶ֥ה לַלֵּבָֽב׃ Samuel1 1Sa 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 16:8 ============ 1Sa 16:8 Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.(KJV) 1 Samuel 16:11 Finally, Samuel said vnto Ishai, Are there no more children but these? And hee sayde, There remaineth yet a litle one behinde, that keepeth the sheepe. And he said, "There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he is tending the sheep." Then Samuel said to Jesse, "Send and bring him; for we will not sit down until he comes here." L'Eternel dit à Samuel: Lève-toi, oins-le, car c'est lui!(FR) 12 ׃16 וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח וַיְבִיאֵ֙הוּ֙ וְה֣וּא אַדְמוֹנִ֔י עִם־יְפֵ֥ה עֵינַ֖יִם וְט֣וֹב רֹ֑אִי פ וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה ק֥וּם מְשָׁחֵ֖הוּ כִּֽי־זֶ֥ה הֽוּא׃ Samuel1 1Sa 16:12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance. And the Lord said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is he."(nasb) ======= 1 Samuel 16:13 ============ 1Sa 16:13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.
