Today's Date: ======= 1 Kings 13:1 ============ 1Ki 13:1 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:1 And beholde, there came a man of God out of Iudah (by the commaundement of the Lorde) vnto Beth-el, and Ieroboam stoode by the altar to offer incense.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:1 Voici, un homme de Dieu arriva de Juda à Béthel, par la parole de l'Eternel, pendant que Jéroboam se tenait à l'autel pour brûler des parfums.(FR) 1 ׃13 וְהִנֵּ֣ה ׀ אִ֣ישׁ אֱלֹהִ֗ים בָּ֧א מִיהוּדָ֛ה בִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־בֵּֽית־אֵ֑ל וְיָרָבְעָ֛ם עֹמֵ֥ד עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לְהַקְטִֽיר׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:1 Now behold, there came a man of God from Judah to Bethel by the word of the Lord, while Jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:2 ============ 1Ki 13:2 And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:2 And he cryed against the altar by the comandement of the Lorde, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord, Beholde, a child shalbe borne vnto the house of Dauid, Iosiah by name, and vpon thee shall he sacrifice the Priestes of the hie places that burne incense vpon thee, and they shall burne mens bones vpon thee.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:2 Il cria contre l'autel, par la parole de l'Eternel, et il dit: Autel! autel! ainsi parle l'Eternel: Voici, il naîtra un fils à la maison de David; son nom sera Josias; il immolera sur toi les prêtres des hauts lieux qui brûlent sur toi des parfums, et l'on brûlera sur toi des ossements d'hommes!(FR) 2 ׃13 וַיִּקְרָ֤א עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ בִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ מִזְבֵּ֣חַ מִזְבֵּ֔חַ כֹּ֖ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה הִנֵּֽה־בֵ֞ן נוֹלָ֤ד לְבֵית־דָּוִד֙ יֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּ שְׁמ֔וֹ וְזָבַ֣ח עָלֶ֗יךָ אֶת־כֹּהֲנֵ֤י הַבָּמוֹת֙ הַמַּקְטִרִ֣ים עָלֶ֔יךָ וְעַצְמ֥וֹת אָדָ֖ם יִשְׂרְפ֥וּ עָלֶֽיךָ׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:2 He cried against the altar by the word of the Lord, and said, "O altar, altar, thus says the Lord, 'Behold, a son shall be born to the house of David, Josiah by name; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and human bones shall be burned on you.'"(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:3 ============ 1Ki 13:3 And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:3 And he gaue a signe the same time, saying, This is the signe, that the Lorde hath spoken, Behold, the altar shall rent, and the ashes that are vpon it, shall fall out.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:3 Et le même jour il donna un signe, en disant: C'est ici le signe que l'Eternel a parlé: Voici, l'autel se fendra, et la cendre qui est dessus sera répandue.(FR) 3 ׃13 וְנָתַן֩ בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֤וּא מוֹפֵת֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר זֶ֣ה הַמּוֹפֵ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה הִנֵּ֤ה הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ נִקְרָ֔ע וְנִשְׁפַּ֖ךְ הַדֶּ֥שֶׁן אֲשֶׁר־עָלָֽיו׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:3 Then he gave a sign the same day, saying, "This is the sign which the Lord has spoken, 'Behold, the altar shall be split apart and the ashes which are on it shall be poured out.'"(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:4 ============ 1Ki 13:4 And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:4 And when the King had heard the saying of the man of God, which he had cryed against the altar in Beth-el, Ieroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying, Lay holde on him: but his hande which he put foorth against him, dryed vp, and he could not pull it in againe to him.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:4 Lorsque le roi entendit la parole que l'homme de Dieu avait criée contre l'autel de Béthel, il avança la main de dessus l'autel, en disant: Saisissez le! Et la main que Jéroboam avait étendue contre lui devint sèche, et il ne put la ramener à soi.(FR) 4 ׃13 וַיְהִי֩ כִשְׁמֹ֨עַ הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־דְּבַ֣ר אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר קָרָ֤א עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֔ל וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח יָרָבְעָ֧ם אֶת־יָד֛וֹ מֵעַ֥ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לֵאמֹ֣ר ׀ תִּפְשֻׂ֑הוּ וַתִּיבַ֤שׁ יָדוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁלַ֣ח עָלָ֔יו וְלֹ֥א יָכֹ֖ל לַהֲשִׁיבָ֥הּ אֵלָֽיו׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:4 Now when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying, "Seize him." And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:6 Then the King answered, and saide vnto the man of God, I beseeche thee, pray vnto ye Lorde thy God, and make intercession for me, that mine hand may bee restored vnto me; the man of God besought the Lord, and the Kings hand was restored, and became as it was afore.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:6 Alors le roi prit la parole, et dit à l'homme de Dieu: Implore l'Eternel, ton Dieu, et prie pour moi, afin que je puisse retirer ma main. L'homme de Dieu implora l'Eternel, et le roi put retirer sa main, qui fut comme auparavant.(FR) 6 ׃13 וַיַּ֨עַן הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ אֶל־אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים חַל־נָ֞א אֶת־פְּנֵ֨י יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ וְהִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל בַּעֲדִ֔י וְתָשֹׁ֥ב יָדִ֖י אֵלָ֑י וַיְחַ֤ל אִישׁ־הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ אֶת־פְּנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַתָּ֤שָׁב יַד־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֵלָ֔יו וַתְּהִ֖י כְּבָרִֽאשֹׁנָֽה׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:6 The king said to the man of God, "Please entreat the Lord your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me." So the man of God entreated the Lord, and the king's hand was restored to him, and it became as it was before.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:7 ============ 1Ki 13:7 And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:7 Then the King sayde vnto the man of God, Come home with mee, that thou mayest dyne, and I will giue thee a reward.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:7 Le roi dit à l'homme de Dieu: Entre avec moi dans la maison, tu prendras quelque nourriture, et je te donnerai un présent.(FR) 7 ׃13 וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֶל־אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים בֹּאָה־אִתִּ֥י הַבַּ֖יְתָה וּֽסְעָ֑דָה וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה לְךָ֖ מַתָּֽת׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:7 Then the king said to the man of God, "Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:8 ============ 1Ki 13:8 And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:(KJV) 1 Kings 13:8 But the man of God saide vnto the King, If thou wouldest giue me halfe thine house, I would not goe in with thee, neither woulde I eate bread nor drinke water in this place.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:8 L'homme de Dieu dit au roi: Quand tu me donnerais la moitié de ta maison, je n'entrerais pas avec toi. (nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:11 ============ 1Ki 13:11 Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:11 And an olde Prophet dwelt in Beth-el, and his sonnes came and tolde him all ye woorkes, that the man of God had done that day in Beth-el, and the wordes which he had spoken vnto the King, tolde they their father.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:11 Or il y avait un vieux prophète qui demeurait à Béthel. Lorsqu'ils en eurent fait le récit à leur père,(FR) 11 ׃13 וְנָבִ֤יא אֶחָד֙ זָקֵ֔ן יֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֑ל וַיָּב֣וֹא בְנ֡וֹ וַיְסַפֶּר־ל֣וֹ אֶת־כָּל־הַמַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂה֩ אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֨ים ׀ הַיּ֜וֹם בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֗ל אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֣ר אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַֽיְסַפְּר֖וּם לַאֲבִיהֶֽם׃ Kings1 1Ki 13:11 Now an old prophet was living in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the deeds which the man of God had done that day in Bethel; the words which he had spoken to the king, these also they related to their father.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:12 ============ 1Ki 13:12 And their father said unto them, What way went he? Now his sons had seen the way which the man of God who came from Judah had gone.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 13:13 ============ 1Ki 13:13 And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,(KJV) 1 Kings 13:13 And hee saide vnto his sonnes, Saddle mee the asse. But he lied unto him.(KJV) 1 Kings 13:18 And he said vnto him, I am a Prophet also as thou art, and an Angel spake vnto me by the worde of the Lord, saying, Bring him againe with thee into thine house, that hee may eate bread & drinke water: but he lyed vnto him.(Geneva) 1 Rois 13:18 Et il lui dit: Moi aussi, je suis prophète comme toi; et un ange m'a parlé de la part de l'Eternel, et m'a dit: Ramène-le avec toi dans ta maison, et qu'il mange du pain et boive de l'eau.
