And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands.(KJV) 2 Kings 13:16 And he sayde to the King of Israel, Put thine hand vpon the bowe; he put his hand vpon it; Elisha put his hands vpon the Kings hands,(Geneva) 2 Rois 13:16 Puis Elisée dit au roi d'Israël: Bande l'arc avec ta main. And he put his hand on it, then Elisha laid his hands on the king's hands.(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 13:17 ============ 2Ki 13:17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.(KJV) 2 Kings 13:17 And saide, Open the windowe Eastward; when he had opened it, Elisha said, Shoote; he shot; he sayd, Beholde the arrowe of the Lordes deliuerance and the arrowe of deliuerance against Aram: for thou shalt smite the Aramites in Aphek, till thou hast consumed them.(Geneva) 2 Rois 13:17 et il dit: Ouvre la fenêtre à l'orient. Elisée dit: C'est une flèche de délivrance de la part de l'Eternel, une flèche de délivrance contre les Syriens; tu battras les Syriens à Aphek jusqu'à leur extermination.(FR) 17 ׃13 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר פְּתַ֧ח הַחַלּ֛וֹן קֵ֖דְמָה וַיִּפְתָּ֑ח וַיֹּ֨[t]אמֶר אֱלִישָׁ֤ע יְרֵה֙ וַיּ֔וֹר וַיֹּ֗אמֶר חֵץ־תְּשׁוּעָ֤ה לַֽיהוָה֙ וְחֵ֣ץ תְּשׁוּעָ֣ה בַֽאֲרָ֔ם וְהִכִּיתָ֧ אֶת־אֲרָ֛ם בַּאֲפֵ֖ק עַד־כַּלֵּֽה׃ Kings2 2Ki 13:17 He said, "Open the window toward the east," and he opened it. Then Elisha said, "Shoot!" And he shot. And he said, "The Lord's arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Aram; for you will defeat the Arameans at Aphek until you have destroyed them."(nasb) ======= 2 Kings 13:18 ============ 2Ki 13:18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground.
