So David prepared abundantly before his death.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 22:5 And Dauid saide, Salomon my sonne is yong and tender, and we must builde an house for the Lorde, magnificall, excellent and of great fame and dignitie throughout all countreyes. I will therefore nowe prepare for him. So Dauid prepared very much before his death.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 22:5 David disait: Mon fils Salomon est jeune et d'un âge faible, et la maison qui sera bâtie à l'Eternel s'élèvera à un haut degré de renommée et de gloire dans tous les pays; c'est pourquoi je veux faire pour lui des préparatifs. Et David fit beaucoup de préparatifs avant sa mort.(FR) 5 ׃22 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִ֗יד שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנִי֮ נַ֣עַר וָרָךְ֒ וְהַבַּ֜יִת לִבְנ֣וֹת לַיהוָ֗ה לְהַגְדִּ֨יל ׀ לְמַ֜עְלָה לְשֵׁ֤ם וּלְתִפְאֶ֙רֶת֙ לְכָל־הָ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת אָכִ֥ינָה נָּ֖א ל֑וֹ וַיָּ֧כֶן דָּוִ֛יד לָרֹ֖ב לִפְנֵ֥י מוֹתֽוֹ׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 22:5 David said, "My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all lands. Therefore now I will make preparation for it." So David made ample preparations before his death. And has He not given you rest on every side?
