Today's Date: ======= 1 Chronicles 20:1 ============ 1Ch 20:1 And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 20:1 And when the yere was expired, in the time that Kings goe out a warfare, Ioab caryed out the strength of the armie, and destroyed the countrey of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah (but Dauid taryed at Ierusalem) & Ioab smote Rabbah & destroyed it.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 20:1 L'année suivante, au temps où les rois se mettaient en campagne, Joab, à la tête d'une forte armée, alla ravager le pays des fils d'Ammon et assiéger Rabba. But David stayed at Jerusalem. And Joab struck Rabbah and overthrew it.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 20:2 ============ 1Ch 20:2 And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 20:2 Then Dauid tooke the crowne of their King from off his head, and founde it the weight of a talent of golde, with precious stones in it: and it was set on Dauids head, and he brought away the spoyle of the citie exceeding much.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 20:2 David enleva la couronne de dessus la tête de son roi, et la trouva du poids d'un talent d'or: elle était garnie de pierres précieuses. On la mit sur la tête de David, qui emporta de la ville un très grand butin.(FR) 2 ׃20 וַיִּקַּ֣ח דָּוִ֣יד אֶת־עֲטֶֽרֶת־מַלְכָּם֩ מֵעַ֨ל רֹאשׁ֜וֹ וַֽיִּמְצָאָ֣הּ ׀ מִשְׁקַ֣ל כִּכַּר־זָהָ֗ב וּבָהּ֙ אֶ֣בֶן יְקָרָ֔ה וַתְּהִ֖י עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ דָּוִ֑יד וּשְׁלַ֥ל הָעִ֛יר הוֹצִ֖יא הַרְבֵּ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 20:2 David took the crown of their king from his head, and he found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there was a precious stone in it; and it was placed on David's head. And thus David did to all the cities of the sons of Ammon. Then David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 20:4 ============ 1Ch 20:4 And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; at which time Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai, that was of the children of the giant: and they were subdued.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 20:4 And after this also there arose warre at Gezer with the Philistims: then Sibbechai the Hushathite slewe Sippai, of the children of Haraphah, and they were subdued.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 20:4 Après cela, il y eut une bataille à Guézer avec les Philistins.
