but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 17:5 For I haue dwelt in no house, since the day that I brought out the childre of Israel vnto this daye, but I haue bene from tent to tent, and from habitation to habitation.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 17:5 Car je n'ai point habité dans une maison depuis le jour où j'ai fait monter Israël jusqu'à ce jour; and I will make you a name like the name of the great ones who are in the earth.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 17:9 ============ 1Ch 17:9 Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,(KJV) 1 Chronicles 17:9 (Also I will appoynt a place for my people Israel, and will plant it, that they may dwell in their place, and moue no more: neither shall the wicked people vexe them any more, as at the beginning,(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 17:9 j'ai donné une demeure à mon peuple d'Israël, et je l'ai planté pour qu'il y soit fixé et ne soit plus agité, pour que les méchants ne le détruisent plus comme auparavant(FR) 9 ׃17 וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י מָ֠קוֹם לְעַמִּ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל וּנְטַעְתִּ֙יהוּ֙ וְשָׁכַ֣ן תַּחְתָּ֔יו וְלֹ֥א יִרְגַּ֖ז ע֑וֹד וְלֹא־יוֹסִ֤יפוּ בְנֵי־עַוְלָה֙ לְבַלֹּת֔וֹ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר בָּרִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 17:9 I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and not be moved again; and the wicked will not waste them anymore as formerly,(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 17:10 ============ 1Ch 17:10 And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 17:10 And since the time that I commaunded iudges ouer my people Israel) And I wil subdue all thine enemies: therefore I say vnto thee, that the Lord wil buylde thee an house.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 17:10 et comme à l'époque où j'avais établi des juges sur mon peuple d'Israël. J'ai humilié tous tes ennemis. Et je t'annonce que l'Eternel te bâtira une maison.(FR) 10 ׃17 וּלְמִיָּמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוִּ֤יתִי שֹֽׁפְטִים֙ עַל־עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְהִכְנַ֖עְתִּי אֶת־כָּל־אוֹיְבֶ֑יךָ וָאַגִּ֣ד לָ֔ךְ וּבַ֖יִת יִֽבְנֶה־לְּךָ֥ יְהוָֽה׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 17:10 even from the day that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. Tu parles de la maison de ton serviteur pour les temps à venir. Et tu daignes porter les regards sur moi à la manière des hommes, toi qui es élevé, Eternel Dieu!(FR) 17 ׃17 וַתִּקְטַ֨ן זֹ֤את בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ אֱלֹהִ֔ים וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר עַל־בֵּֽית־עַבְדְּךָ֖ לְמֵרָח֑וֹק וּרְאִיתַ֗נִי כְּת֧וֹר הָאָדָ֛ם הַֽמַּעֲלָ֖ה יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 17:17 This was a small thing in Your eyes, O God; but You have spoken of Your servant's house for a great while to come, and have regarded me according to the standard of a man of high degree, O Lord God.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 17:18 ============ 1Ch 17:18 What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 17:18 What can Dauid desire more of thee for the honour of thy seruant? for thou knowest thy seruant.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 17:18 Que pourrait te dire encore David sur la gloire accordée à ton serviteur? For You know Your servant.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 17:19 ============ 1Ch 17:19 O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 17:19 O Lorde, for thy seruantes sake, euen according to thine heart hast thou done all this great thing to declare all magnificence.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 17:19 O Eternel!
