======= 1 Chronicles 13:2 ============ 1Ch 13:2 And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:2 And Dauid said to all the Congregation of Israel, If it seeme good to you, and that it proceedeth of the Lorde our God, we will sende to and fro vnto our brethren, that are left in all the lande of Israel (for with them are the Priests and the Leuites in the cities and their suburbes) that they may assemble them selues vnto vs.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:2 Et David dit à toute l'assemblée d'Israël: Si vous le trouvez bon, et si cela vient de l'Eternel, notre Dieu, envoyons de tous côtés vers nos frères qui restent dans toutes les contrées d'Israël, et aussi vers les sacrificateurs et les Lévites dans les villes où sont leurs banlieues, afin qu'ils se réunissent à nous,(FR) 2 ׃13 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד לְכֹ֣ל ׀ קְהַ֣ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אִם־עֲלֵיכֶ֨ם ט֜וֹב וּמִן־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ נִפְרְצָה֙ נִשְׁלְחָ֞ה עַל־אַחֵ֣ינוּ הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֗ים בְּכֹל֙ אַרְצ֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְעִמָּהֶ֛ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם בְּעָרֵ֣י מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם וְיִקָּבְצ֖וּ אֵלֵֽינוּ׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:2 David said to all the assembly of Israel, "If it seems good to you, and if it is from the Lord our God, let us send everywhere to our kinsmen who remain in all the land of Israel, also to the priests and Levites who are with them in their cities with pasture lands, that they may meet with us;(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:3 ============ 1Ch 13:3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we Chronicles1 1Ch 13:3 and let us bring back the ark of our God to us, for we did not seek it in the days of Saul."(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:4 ============ 1Ch 13:4 And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:4 And all the Congregation answered, Let vs doe so: for the thing seemed good in the eyes of all the ============ 1Ch 13:5 So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:5 So Dauid gathered אֶת־אֲר֣וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים מִקִּרְיַ֖ת יְעָרִֽים׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:5 So David assembled all Israel together, from the Shihor of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:6 ============ 1Ch 13:6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:6 And Dauid went vp and all Israel to Baalath, in Kiriath-iearim, that was in Iudah, to bring vp to Kiriath-jearim, which belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, the Lord who is enthroned above the cherubim, where His name is called.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:7 ============ 1Ch 13:7 And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:7 And they caryed the Arke of God in a newe cart out of the singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:8 And Dauid and all Israel played before God with all their might, both with וּבִנְבָלִ֣ים וּבְתֻפִּ֔ים וּבִמְצִלְתַּ֖יִם וּבַחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:8 David and all Israel were celebrating before God with all their might, even with songs and with lyres, harps, tambourines, cymbals and with trumpets.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:9 ============ 1Ch 13:9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:9 And when they came vnto the thresshing floore of Chidon, Vzza put forth his hand to holde the Arke, for the oxen did shake it.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:9 אֶת־יָד֗וֹ לֶאֱחֹז֙ אֶת־הָ֣אָר֔וֹן כִּ֥י שָֽׁמְט֖וּ הַבָּקָֽר׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:9 When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, because the oxen nearly upset it.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:10 ============ 1Ch 13:10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:10 But the wrath of the Lord was kindled against Vzza, and he smote him, because he layed his hande vpon the Arke: so he dyed there before God.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:10 La Uzza mourut là, devant Dieu.(FR) 10 ׃13 וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֤ף יְהוָה֙ בְּעֻזָּ֔א וַיַּכֵּ֕הוּ עַ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַ֥ח יָד֖וֹ עַל־הָאָר֑וֹן וַיָּ֥מָת שָׁ֖ם לִפְנֵ֥י אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:10 The anger of the Lord burned against Uzza, so He struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark; and he died there before God.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:11 ============ 1Ch 13:11 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:11 And Dauid was angrie, because the Lorde had made a breach in Vzza, and he called the name of that place Perez-vzza vnto this day.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:11 David fut irrité de ce que l'Eternel avait frappé Uzza d'un tel châtiment. Et ce lieu a été appelé jusqu'à ce jour Pérets-Uzza.(FR) 11 ׃13 וַיִּ֣חַר לְדָוִ֔יד כִּֽי־פָרַ֧ץ יְהוָ֛ה פֶּ֖רֶץ בְּעֻזָּ֑א וַיִּקְרָ֞א לַמָּק֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ פֶּ֣רֶץ עֻזָּ֔א עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:11 Then David became angry because of the Lord's outburst against Uzza; and he called that place Perez-uzza to this day.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:12 ============ 1Ch 13:12 And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:12 And Dauid feared God that day, saying, Howe shall I bring in to me the Arke of God?(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:12 David eut peur de Dieu en ce jour-là, et il dit: Comment ferais-je entrer chez moi l'arche de Dieu?(FR) 12 ׃13 וַיִּירָ֤א דָוִיד֙ אֶת־הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא לֵאמֹ֑ר הֵ֚יךְ אָבִ֣יא אֵלַ֔י אֵ֖ת אֲר֥וֹן הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:12 David was afraid of God that day, saying, "How can I bring the ark of God home to me?"(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:13 ============ 1Ch 13:13 So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 13:13 Therefore Dauid brought not the Arke to him into the citie of Dauid, but caused it to turne into the house of Obed Edom the Gittite.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:13 David ne retira pas l'arche chez lui dans la cité de David, et il la fit conduire dans la maison d'Obed-Edom de Gath.(FR) 13 ׃13 וְלֹֽא־הֵסִ֨יר דָּוִ֧יד אֶת־הָאָר֛וֹן אֵלָ֖יו אֶל־עִ֣יר דָּוִ֑יד וַיַּטֵּ֕הוּ אֶל־בֵּ֥ית עֹבֵֽד־אֱדֹ֖ם הַגִּתִּֽי׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 13:13 So David did not take the ark with him to the city of David, but took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 13:14 ============ 1Ch 13:14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.(kjv) 1 Chronicles 13:14 So the Arke of God remained in the house of Obed Edom, euen in his house three moneths: and the Lorde blessed the house of Obed Edom, and all that he had.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 13:14 L'arche de Dieu resta trois mois dans la maison d'Obed-Edom, dans sa maison.
