for the temple is not for man, but for the Lord God.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 29:2 ============ 1Ch 29:2 Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 29:2 Now I haue prepared with all my power for the house of my God, golde for vessels of golde, and siluer for them of siluer, and brasse for things of brasse, yron for things of yron, & wood for things of wood, and onix stones, and stones to be set, and carbuncle stones and of diuers colours, and all precious stones, and marble stones in aboundance.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 29:2 J'ai mis toutes mes forces à préparer pour la maison de mon Dieu de l'or pour ce qui doit être d'or, de l'argent pour ce qui doit être d'argent, de l'airain pour ce qui doit être d'airain, du fer pour ce qui doit être de fer, et du bois pour ce qui doit être de bois, des pierres d'onyx et des pierres à enchâsser, des pierres brillantes et de diverses couleurs, toutes sortes de pierres précieuses, et du marbre blanc en quantité.(FR) 2 ׃29 וּֽכְכָל־כֹּחִ֞י הֲכִינ֣וֹתִי לְבֵית־אֱלֹהַ֗י הַזָּהָ֣ב ׀ לַ֠זָּהָב וְהַכֶּ֨סֶף לַכֶּ֜סֶף וְהַנְּחֹ֣שֶׁת לַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת הַבַּרְזֶל֙ לַבַּרְזֶ֔ל וְהָעֵצִ֖ים לָעֵצִ֑ים אַבְנֵי־שֹׁ֨הַם וּמִלּוּאִ֜ים אַבְנֵי־פ֣וּךְ וְרִקְמָ֗ה וְכֹ֨ל אֶ֧בֶן יְקָרָ֛ה וְאַבְנֵי־שַׁ֖יִשׁ לָרֹֽב׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 29:2 Now with all my ability I have provided for the house of my God the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the things of silver, and the bronze for the things of bronze, the iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, onyx stones and inlaid stones, stones of antimony and stones of various colors, and all kinds of precious stones and alabaster in abundance.(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 29:3 ============ 1Ch 29:3 Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.(KJV) 1 Chronicles 29:3 Moreouer, because I haue delite in the house of my God, I haue of mine owne golde and siluer, which I haue giuen to the house of my God, beside all that I haue prepared for the house of the Sanctuarie,(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 29:3 De plus, dans mon attachement pour la maison de mon Dieu, je donne à la maison de mon Dieu l'or et l'argent que je possède en propre, outre tout ce que j'ai préparé pour la maison du sanctuaire:(FR) 3 ׃29 וְע֗וֹד בִּרְצוֹתִי֙ בְּבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהַ֔י יֶשׁ־לִ֥י סְגֻלָּ֖ה זָהָ֣ב וָכָ֑סֶף נָתַ֤תִּי לְבֵית־אֱלֹהַי֙ לְמַ֔עְלָה מִכָּל־הֲכִינ֖וֹתִי לְבֵ֥ית הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 29:3 Moreover, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy temple,(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 29:4 ============ 1Ch 29:4 Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:(KJV) 1 Chronicles 29:4 Euen three thousand talents of gold of the golde of Ophir, and seuen thousand talents of fined siluer to ouerlay the walles of the houses.(Geneva) 1 Chroniques 29:4 trois mille talents d'or, d'or d'Ophir, et sept mille talents d'argent épuré, pour en revêtir les parois des bâtiments,(FR) 4 ׃29 שְׁלֹ֧שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֛ים כִּכְּרֵ֥י זָהָ֖ב מִזְּהַ֣ב אוֹפִ֑יר וְשִׁבְעַ֨ת אֲלָפִ֤ים כִּכַּר־כֶּ֙סֶף֙ מְזֻקָּ֔ק לָט֖וּחַ קִיר֥וֹת הַבָּתִּֽים׃ Chronicles1 1Ch 29:4 namely, 3,000 talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and 7,000 talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the buildings;(nasb) ======= 1 Chronicles 29:5 ============ 1Ch 29:5 The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers.
