So who am I, that I should build a house for Him, except to burn incense before Him?(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 2:7 ============ 2Ch 2:7 Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father did provide.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 2:7 Sende me nowe therefore a cunning man that can worke in golde, in siluer, & in brasse, and in yron, & in purple, and crimosin & blue silke, & that can graue in grauen worke with the cunning men that are with me in Iudah & in Ierusalem, whom Dauid my father hath prepared.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 2:7 Envoie-moi donc un homme habile pour les ouvrages en or, en argent, en airain et en fer, en étoffes teintes en pourpre, en cramoisi et en bleu, et connaissant la sculpture, afin qu'il travaille avec les hommes habiles qui sont auprès de moi en Juda et à Jérusalem et que David, mon père, a choisis.(FR) 6 ׃2 וְעַתָּ֡ה שְֽׁלַֽח־לִ֣י אִישׁ־חָכָ֡ם לַעֲשׂוֹת֩ בַּזָּהָ֨ב וּבַכֶּ֜סֶף וּבַנְּחֹ֣שֶׁת וּבַבַּרְזֶ֗ל וּבָֽאַרְגְּוָן֙ וְכַרְמִ֣יל וּתְכֵ֔לֶת וְיֹדֵ֖עַ לְפַתֵּ֣חַ פִּתּוּחִ֑ים עִם־הַֽחֲכָמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר עִמִּי֙ בִּֽיהוּדָ֣ה וּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵכִ֖ין דָּוִ֥יד אָבִֽי׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 2:7 Now send me a skilled man to work in gold, silver, brass and iron, and in purple, crimson and violet fabrics, and who knows how to make engravings, to work with the skilled men whom I have in Judah and Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 2:8 ============ 2Ch 2:8 Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon: for I know that thy servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold, my servants shall be with thy servants,(KJV) 2 Chronicles 2:8 Sende mee also cedar trees, firre trees and Algummim trees from Lebanon: for I knowe that thy seruants can skill to hewe timber in Lebanon: and beholde, my seruantes shalbe with thine,(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 2:8 Envoie-moi aussi du Liban des bois de cèdre, de cyprès et de sandal; car je sais que tes serviteurs s'entendent à couper les bois du Liban. Voici, mes serviteurs seront avec les tiens.(FR) 7 ׃2 וּֽשְׁלַֽח־לִי֩ עֲצֵ֨י אֲרָזִ֜ים בְּרוֹשִׁ֣ים וְאַלְגּוּמִּים֮ מֵֽהַלְּבָנוֹן֒ כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י יָדַ֔עְתִּי אֲשֶׁ֤ר עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ יֽוֹדְעִ֔ים לִכְר֖וֹת עֲצֵ֣י לְבָנ֑וֹן וְהִנֵּ֥ה עֲבָדַ֖י עִם־עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 2:8 Send me also cedar, cypress and algum timber from Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber of Lebanon; and indeed my servants will work with your servants,(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 2:9 ============ 2Ch 2:9 Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about to build shall be wonderful great.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 2:9 That they may prepare me timber in abudance: for the house which I doe buylde, is great and wonderfull.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 2:9 Que l'on me prépare du bois en abondance, car la maison que je vais bâtir sera grande et magnifique.(FR) 8 ׃2 וּלְהָכִ֥ין לִ֛י עֵצִ֖ים לָרֹ֑ב כִּ֥י הַבַּ֛יִת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֥י בוֹנֶ֖ה גָּד֥וֹל וְהַפְלֵֽא׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 2:9 to prepare timber in abundance for me, for the house which I am about to build will be great and wonderful.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 2:10 ============ 2Ch 2:10 And, behold, I will give to thy servants, the hewers that cut timber, twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley, and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 2:10 And behold, I will giue to thy seruants the cutters & the hewers of timber twentie thousand measures of beaten wheate, & twentie thousand measures of barley, & twentie thousand baths of wine, and twentie thousand baths of oyle.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 2:10 Je donnerai à tes serviteurs qui couperont, qui abattront les bois, vingt mille cors de froment foulé, vingt mille cors d'orge, vingt mille baths de vin, et vingt mille baths d'huile.(FR) 9 ׃2 וְהִנֵּ֣ה לַֽחֹטְבִ֣ים ׀ לְֽכֹרְתֵ֣י ׀ הָעֵצִ֡ים נָתַתִּי֩ חִטִּ֨ים ׀ מַכּ֜וֹת לַעֲבָדֶ֗יךָ כֹּרִים֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׂעֹרִ֕ים כֹּרִ֖ים עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אָ֑לֶף וְיַ֗יִן בַּתִּים֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף וְשֶׁ֕מֶן בַּתִּ֖ים עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אָֽלֶף׃ פ Chronicles2 2Ch 2:10 Now behold, I will give to your servants, the woodsmen who cut the timber, 20,000 kors of crushed wheat and 20,000 kors of barley, and 20,000 baths of wine and 20,000 baths of oil." On en trouva cent cinquante-trois mille six cents.(FR) 16 ׃2 וַיִּסְפֹּ֣ר שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה כָּל־הָאֲנָשִׁ֤ים הַגֵּירִים֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אַחֲרֵ֣י הַסְּפָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר סְפָרָ֖ם דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑יו וַיִּמָּצְא֗וּ מֵאָ֤ה וַחֲמִשִּׁים֙ אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 2:17 Solomon numbered all the aliens who were in the land of Israel, following the census which his father David had taken; and 153,600 were found.
