(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:2 ============ Jer 19:2 And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,(KJV) Jeremiah 19:2 And goe forth vnto the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is by the entrie of the East gate: and thou shalt preache there the wordes, that I shall tell thee,(Geneva) Jérémie 19:2 Rends-toi dans la vallée de Ben-Hinnom, qui est à l'entrée de la porte de la poterie; et là, tu publieras les paroles que je te dirai.(FR) 2 ׃19 וְיָצָ֙אתָ֙ אֶל־גֵּ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֕ר פֶּ֖תַח שַׁ֣עַר *החרסות **הַֽחַרְסִ֑ית וְקָרָ֣אתָ שָּׁ֔ם אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־אֲדַבֵּ֥ר אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:2 Then go out to the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is by the entrance of the potsherd gate, and proclaim there the words that I tell you, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:3 ============ Jer 19:3 And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:3 And shalt say, Heare yee the worde of the Lorde, O Kings of Iudah, and inhabitantes of Ierusalem, Thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring a plague vpon this place, the which whosoeuer heareth, his eares shall tingle.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:3 Tu diras: Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel, rois de Juda, et vous, habitants de Jérusalem! Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je vais faire venir sur ce lieu un malheur Qui étourdira les oreilles de quiconque en entendra parler.(FR) 3 ׃19 וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ שִׁמְע֣וּ דְבַר־יְהוָ֔ה מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וְיֹשְׁבֵ֖י יְרֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא רָעָה֙ עַל־הַמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר כָּל־שֹׁמְעָ֖הּ תִּצַּ֥לְנָה אָזְנָֽיו׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:3 and say, 'Hear the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel," Behold I am about to bring a calamity upon this place, at which the ears of everyone that hears of it will tingle. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:4 ============ Jer 19:4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;(KJV) Jeremiah 19:4 Because they haue forsaken me, and prophaned this place, and haue burnt incense in it vnto other gods, whome neyther they, nor their fathers haue knowen, nor the Kings of Iudah (they haue filled this place also with the blood of innocents,(Geneva) Jérémie 19:4 Ils m'ont abandonné, ils ont profané ce lieu, Ils y ont offert de l'encens à d'autres dieux, Que ne connaissaient ni eux, ni leurs pères, ni les rois de Juda, Et ils ont rempli ce lieu de sang innocent;(FR) 4 ׃19 יַ֣עַן ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֲזָבֻ֗נִי וַֽיְנַכְּר֞וּ אֶת־הַמָּק֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ וַיְקַטְּרוּ־בוֹ֙ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹֽא־יְדָע֛וּם הֵ֥מָּה וַאֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם וּמַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וּמָֽלְא֛וּ אֶת־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה דַּ֥ם נְקִיִּֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:4 Because they have forsaken Me and have made this an alien place and have burned sacrifices in it to other gods, that neither they nor their forefathers nor the kings of Judah had ever known, and because they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:5 ============ Jer 19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:(KJV) Jeremiah 19:5 And they haue built the hie places of Baal, to burne their sonnes with fire for burnt offrings vnto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my minde)(Geneva) Jérémie 19:5 Ils ont bâti des hauts lieux à Baal, Pour brûler leurs enfants au feu en holocaustes à Baal: Ce que je n'avais ni ordonné ni prescrit, Ce qui ne m'était point venu à la pensée.(FR) 5 ׃19 וּבָנ֞וּ אֶת־בָּמ֣וֹת הַבַּ֗עַל לִשְׂרֹ֧ף אֶת־בְּנֵיהֶ֛ם בָּאֵ֖שׁ עֹל֣וֹת לַבָּ֑עַל אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־צִוִּ֙יתִי֙ וְלֹ֣א דִבַּ֔רְתִּי וְלֹ֥א עָלְתָ֖ה עַל־לִבִּֽי׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 19:5 and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, a thing which I never commanded or spoke of, nor did it ever enter My mind; (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:6 ============ Jer 19:6 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:6 Therefore behold, the dayes come, sayth the Lord, that this place shal no more be called Topheth, nor ye valley of Ben-hinnom, but the valley of slaughter.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:6 C'est pourquoi voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Eternel, Où ce lieu ne sera plus appelé Topheth et vallée de Ben-Hinnom, Mais où on l'appellera vallée du carnage.(FR) 6 ׃19 לָכֵ֞ן הִנֵּֽה־יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וְלֹא־יִקָּרֵא֩ לַמָּק֨וֹם הַזֶּ֥ה ע֛וֹד הַתֹּ֖פֶת וְגֵ֣יא בֶן־הִנֹּ֑ם כִּ֖י אִם־גֵּ֥יא הַהֲרֵגָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:6 therefore, behold, days are coming," declares the Lord, "when this place will no longer be called Topheth or the valley of Ben-hinnom, but rather the valley of Slaughter. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:7 ============ Jer 19:7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:7 And I will bring the counsell of Iudah and Ierusalem to nought in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, & by the hand of them that seeke their liues: and their carkeises will I giue to be meate for ye foules of the heauen, and to the beastes of the fielde.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:7 J'anéantirai dans ce lieu le conseil de Juda et de Jérusalem; Je les ferai tomber par l'épée devant leurs ennemis Et par la main de ceux qui en veulent à leur vie; Je donnerai leurs cadavres en pâture Aux oiseaux du ciel et aux bêtes de la terre.(FR) 7 ׃19 וּ֠בַקֹּתִי אֶת־עֲצַ֨ת יְהוּדָ֤ה וִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ בַּמָּק֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וְהִפַּלְתִּ֤ים בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֹֽיְבֵיהֶ֔ם וּבְיַ֖ד מְבַקְשֵׁ֣י נַפְשָׁ֑ם וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־נִבְלָתָם֙ לְמַֽאֲכָ֔ל לְע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וּלְבֶהֱמַ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:7 I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hand of those who seek their life; and I will give over their carcasses as food for the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:8 ============ Jer 19:8 And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:8 And I will make this citie desolate and an hissing, so that euery one that passeth thereby, shalbe astonished & hisse because of all ye plagues thereof.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:8 Je ferai de cette ville un objet de désolation et de moquerie; Tous ceux qui passeront près d'elle Seront dans l'étonnement et siffleront sur toutes ses plaies.(FR) 8 ׃19 וְשַׂמְתִּי֙ אֶת־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את לְשַׁמָּ֖ה וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֑ה כֹּ֚ל עֹבֵ֣ר עָלֶ֔יהָ יִשֹּׁ֥ם וְיִשְׁרֹ֖ק עַל־כָּל־מַכֹּתֶֽהָ׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:8 I will also make this city a desolation and an object of hissing; everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its disasters. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:9 ============ Jer 19:9 And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:9 And I will feede the with the flesh of their sonnes and with the flesh of their daughters, and euery one shall eate the flesh of his friende in the siege and straitnes, wherewith their enemies that seeke their liues, shall hold them strait.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:9 Je leur ferai manger la chair de leurs fils et la chair de leurs filles, Et les uns mangeront la chair des autres, Au milieu de l'angoisse et de la détresse Où les réduiront leurs ennemis Et ceux qui en veulent à leur vie.(FR) 9 ׃19 וְהַֽאֲכַלְתִּ֞ים אֶת־בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֵיהֶ֗ם וְאֵת֙ בְּשַׂ֣ר בְּנֹתֵיהֶ֔ם וְאִ֥ישׁ בְּשַׂר־רֵעֵ֖הוּ יֹאכֵ֑לוּ בְּמָצוֹר֙ וּבְמָצ֔וֹק אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצִ֧יקוּ לָהֶ֛ם אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם וּמְבַקְשֵׁ֥י נַפְשָֽׁם׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:9 I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they will eat one another's flesh in the siege and in the distress with which their enemies and those who seek their life will distress them."'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:10 ============ Jer 19:10 Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee,(KJV) Jeremiah 19:10 Then shalt thou breake the bottell in the sight of the men that go with thee,(Geneva) Jérémie 19:10 Tu briseras ensuite le vase, sous les yeux des hommes qui seront allés avec toi.(FR) 10 ׃19 וְשָׁבַרְתָּ֖ הַבַּקְבֻּ֑ק לְעֵינֵי֙ הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים הַהֹלְכִ֖ים אוֹתָֽךְ׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:10 "Then you are to break the jar in the sight of the men who accompany you(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:11 ============ Jer 19:11 And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:11 And shalt say vnto them, Thus saith ye Lord of hostes, Euen so will I breake this people and this citie, as one breaketh a potters vessell, that cannot be made whole againe, and they shal bury them in Topheth till there be no place to bury.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:11 Et tu leur diras: Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: C'est ainsi que je briserai ce peuple et cette ville, Comme on brise un vase de potier, Sans qu'il puisse être rétabli. Et l'on enterrera les morts à Topheth par défaut de place pour enterrer.(FR) 11 ׃19 וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת כָּ֣כָה אֶשְׁבֹּ֞ר אֶת־הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ וְאֶת־הָעִ֣יר הַזֹּ֔את כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר יִשְׁבֹּר֙ אֶת־כְּלִ֣י הַיּוֹצֵ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹֽא־יוּכַ֥ל לְהֵרָפֵ֖ה ע֑וֹד וּבְתֹ֣פֶת יִקְבְּר֔וּ מֵאֵ֥ין מָק֖וֹם לִקְבּֽוֹר׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:11 and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts," Just so will I break this people and this city, even as one breaks a potter's vessel, which cannot again be repaired; and they will bury in Topheth because there is no other place for burial. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:12 ============ Jer 19:12 Thus will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make this city as Tophet:(KJV) Jeremiah 19:12 Thus will I doe vnto this place, sayth the Lorde, and to the inhabitantes thereof, and I will make this citie like Topheth.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:12 C'est ainsi que je ferai à ce lieu, dit l'Eternel, et à ses habitants, Et je rendrai cette ville semblable à Topheth.(FR) 12 ׃19 כֵּֽן־אֶעֱשֶׂ֞ה לַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּ֛ה נְאֻם־יְהוָ֖ה וּלְיֽוֹשְׁבָ֑יו וְלָתֵ֛ת אֶת־הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את כְּתֹֽפֶת׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:12 This is how I will treat this place and its inhabitants," declares the Lord, "so as to make this city like Topheth. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:13 ============ Jer 19:13 And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.(KJV) Jeremiah 19:13 For the houses of Ierusalem, and the houses of the Kings of Iudah shalbe defiled as the place of Topheth, because of al the houses vpo whose roofes they haue burnt incense vnto all the host of heauen, and haue powred out drinke offerings vnto other gods.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:13 Les maisons de Jérusalem et les maisons des rois de Juda Seront impures comme le lieu de Topheth, Toutes les maisons sur les toits desquelles on offrait de l'encens A toute l'armée des cieux, Et on faisait des libations à d'autres dieux.(FR) 13 ׃19 וְהָי֞וּ בָּתֵּ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם וּבָתֵּי֙ מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה כִּמְק֥וֹם הַתֹּ֖פֶת הַטְּמֵאִ֑ים לְכֹ֣ל הַבָּתִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר קִטְּר֜וּ עַל־גַּגֹּֽתֵיהֶם֙ לְכֹל֙ צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וְהַסֵּ֥ךְ נְסָכִ֖ים לֵאלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 19:13 The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah will be defiled like the place Topheth, because of all the houses on whose rooftops they burned sacrifices to all the heavenly host and poured out drink offerings to other gods."'"(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:14 ============ Jer 19:14 Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, whither the LORD had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD's house; and said to all the people,(KJV) Jeremiah 19:14 Then came Ieremiah fro Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophecie, and he stood in the court of the Lordes house, and sayde to all the people,(Geneva) Jérémie 19:14 Jérémie revint de Topheth, où l'Eternel l'avait envoyé prophétiser. Puis il se tint dans le parvis de la maison de l'Eternel, et il dit à tout le peuple:(FR) 14 ׃19 וַיָּבֹ֤א יִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙ מֵֽהַתֹּ֔פֶת אֲשֶׁ֨ר שְׁלָח֧וֹ יְהוָ֛ה שָׁ֖ם לְהִנָּבֵ֑א וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ בַּחֲצַ֣ר בֵּית־יְהוָ֔ה וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֶל־כָּל־הָעָֽם׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 19:14 Then Jeremiah came from Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the Lord's house and said to all the people: (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 19:15 ============ Jer 19:15 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.(kjv) Jeremiah 19:15 Thus saith the Lorde of hostes, the God of Israel, Beholde, I will bring vpon this citie, and vpon all her townes, all the plagues that I haue pronounced against it, because they haue hardened their neckes, & would not heare my wordes.(Geneva) Jérémie 19:15 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je vais faire venir sur cette ville et sur toutes les villes qui dépendent d'elle tous les malheurs que je lui ai prédits, parce qu'ils ont raidi leur cou, pour ne point écouter mes paroles.(FR) 15 ׃19 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הִנְנִ֨י *מבי **מֵבִ֜יא אֶל־הָעִ֤יר הַזֹּאת֙ וְעַל־כָּל־עָרֶ֔יהָ אֵ֚ת כָּל־הָ֣רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי עָלֶ֑יהָ כִּ֤י הִקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־עָרְפָּ֔ם לְבִלְתִּ֖י שְׁמ֥וֹעַ אֶת־דְּבָרָֽי׃ Jeremiah Jer 19:15 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Behold, I am about to bring on this city and all its towns the entire calamity that I have declared against it, because they have stiffened their necks so as not to heed My words.'" (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 20:1 ============ Jer 20:1 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.(KJV) Jeremiah 20:1 When Pashur, the sonne of Immer, the Priest, which was appointed gouernour in the house of the Lorde, heard that Ieremiah prophecied these things,(Geneva) Jérémie 20:1 Paschhur, fils d'Immer, sacrificateur et inspecteur en chef dans la maison de l'Eternel, entendit Jérémie qui prophétisait ces choses.(FR) |
