Today's Date: 4/4/2025 ======= Jeremiah 44:1 ============ Jer 44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,(KJV) Jeremiah 44:1 The worde that came to Ieremiah concerning all the Iewes, which dwell in the lande of Egypt, and remained at Migdol and at Tahpanhes, & at Noph, & in the coutry of Pathros, saying,(Geneva) Jérémie 44:1 La parole fut adressée à Jérémie sur tous les Juifs demeurant au pays d'Egypte, demeurant à Migdol, à Tachpanès, à Noph et au pays de Pathros, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃44 הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ אֶ֚ל כָּל־הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם הַיֹּשְׁבִ֤ים בְּמִגְדֹּל֙ וּבְתַחְפַּנְחֵ֣ס וּבְנֹ֔ף וּבְאֶ֥רֶץ פַּתְר֖וֹס לֵאמֹֽר׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah for all the Jews living in the land of Egypt, those who were living in Migdol, Tahpanhes, Memphis, and the land of Pathros, saying, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:2 ============ Jer 44:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,(KJV) Jeremiah 44:2 Thus sayeth the Lorde of hostes the God of Israel, Yee haue seene all the euill that I haue brought vpon Ierusalem, and vpon all the cities of Iudah: and beholde, this day they are desolate, and no man dwelleth therein,(Geneva) Jérémie 44:2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Vous avez vu tous les malheurs que j'ai fait venir sur Jérusalem et sur toutes les villes de Juda; voici, elles ne sont plus aujourd'hui que des ruines, et il n'y a plus d'habitants,(FR) 2 ׃44 כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אַתֶּ֣ם רְאִיתֶ֗ם אֵ֤ת כָּל־הָֽרָעָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֵבֵ֙אתִי֙ עַל־יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְעַ֖ל כָּל־עָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וְהִנָּ֤ם חָרְבָּה֙ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה וְאֵ֥ין בָּהֶ֖ם יוֹשֵֽׁב׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'You yourselves have seen all the calamity that I have brought on Jerusalem and all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are in ruins and no one lives in them, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:3 ============ Jer 44:3 Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:3 Because of their wickednes which they haue comitted, to prouoke me to anger in that they went to burne incense, & to serue other gods, who they knew not, neither they nor you nor your fathers.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:3 cause de la méchanceté avec laquelle ils ont agi pour m'irriter, en allant encenser et servir d'autres dieux, inconnus à eux, à vous et à vos pères.(FR) 3 ׃44 מִפְּנֵ֣י רָעָתָ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשׂוּ֙ לְהַכְעִסֵ֔נִי לָלֶ֣כֶת לְקַטֵּ֔ר לַעֲבֹ֖ד לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יְדָע֔וּם הֵ֖מָּה אַתֶּ֥ם וַאֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:3 because of their wickedness which they committed so as to provoke Me to anger by continuing to burn sacrifices and to serve other gods whom they had not known, neither they, you, nor your fathers. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:4 ============ Jer 44:4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:4 Howbeit I sent vnto you all my seruats the Prophets rising earely, and sending them, saying, Oh doe not this abominable thing that I hate.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:4 Je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, je les ai envoyés dès le matin, pour vous dire: Ne faites pas ces abominations, que je hais.(FR) 4 ׃44 וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח אֲלֵיכֶם֙ אֶת־כָּל־עֲבָדַ֣י הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים הַשְׁכֵּ֥ים וְשָׁלֹ֖חַ לֵאמֹ֑ר אַל־נָ֣א תַעֲשׂ֗וּ אֵ֛ת דְּבַֽר־הַתֹּעֵבָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׂנֵֽאתִי׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:4 Yet I sent you all My servants the prophets, again and again, saying, "Oh, do not do this abominable thing which I hate."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:5 ============ Jer 44:5 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:5 But they would not heare nor incline their eare to turne from their wickednes, and to burne no more incense vnto other gods.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:5 Mais ils n'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas prêté l'oreille, ils ne sont pas revenus de leur méchanceté, et ils n'ont pas cessé d'offrir de l'encens à d'autres dieux.(FR) 5 ׃44 וְלֹ֤א שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ וְלֹא־הִטּ֣וּ אֶת־אָזְנָ֔ם לָשׁ֖וּב מֵרָֽעָתָ֑ם לְבִלְתִּ֥י קַטֵּ֖ר לֵאלֹהִ֥ים אֲחֵרִֽים׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:5 But they did not listen or incline their ears to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn sacrifices to other gods. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:6 ============ Jer 44:6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:6 Wherefore my wrath, & mine anger was powred foorth and was kindled in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem, and they are desolate, and wasted, as appeareth this day.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:6 Ma colère et ma fureur se sont répandues, et ont embrasé les villes de Juda et les rues de Jérusalem, qui ne sont plus que des ruines et un désert, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.(FR) 6 ׃44 וַתִּתַּ֤ךְ חֲמָתִי֙ וְאַפִּ֔י וַתִּבְעַר֙ בְּעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת יְרֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וַתִּהְיֶ֛ינָה לְחָרְבָּ֥ה לִשְׁמָמָ֖ה כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 44:6 Therefore My wrath and My anger were poured out and burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, so they have become a ruin and a desolation as it is this day. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:7 ============ Jer 44:7 Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;(KJV) Jeremiah 44:7 Therefore now thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel, Wherfore commit ye this great euill against your soules, to cut off from you man and woman, childe and suckling out of Iudah, and leaue you none to remaine?(Geneva) Jérémie 44:7 Maintenant ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Pourquoi vous faites-vous à vous-mêmes un si grand mal, que de faire exterminer du milieu de Juda hommes, femmes, enfants et nourrissons, en sorte qu'il n'y ait plus de vous aucun reste?(FR) 7 ׃44 וְעַתָּ֡ה כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר יְהוָה֩ אֱלֹהֵ֨י צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לָמָה֩ אַתֶּ֨ם עֹשִׂ֜ים רָעָ֤ה גְדוֹלָה֙ אֶל־נַפְשֹׁ֣תֵכֶ֔ם לְהַכְרִ֨ית לָכֶ֧ם אִישׁ־וְאִשָּׁ֛ה עוֹלֵ֥ל וְיוֹנֵ֖ק מִתּ֣וֹךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה לְבִלְתִּ֛י הוֹתִ֥יר לָכֶ֖ם שְׁאֵרִֽית׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:7 Now then thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, "Why are you doing great harm to yourselves, so as to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, from among Judah, leaving yourselves without remnant, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:8 ============ Jer 44:8 In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?(KJV) Jeremiah 44:8 In that yee prouoke mee vnto wrath with the woorkes of your hands, burning incense vnto other Gods in the lande of Egypt whither yee be gone to dwell: that yee might bring destruction vnto your selues, and that ye might be a curse and a reproch among all nations of the earth.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:8 Pourquoi m'irritez-vous par les oeuvres de vos mains, en offrant de l'encens aux autres dieux du pays d'Egypte, où vous êtes venus pour y demeurer, afin de vous faire exterminer et d'être un objet de malédiction et d'opprobre parmi toutes les nations de la terre?(FR) 8 ׃44 לְהַכְעִסֵ֙נִי֙ בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣י יְדֵיכֶ֔ם לְקַטֵּ֞ר לֵאלֹהִ֤ים אֲחֵרִים֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּ֥ם בָּאִ֖ים לָג֣וּר שָׁ֑ם לְמַ֙עַן֙ הַכְרִ֣ית לָכֶ֔ם וּלְמַ֤עַן הֱיֽוֹתְכֶם֙ לִקְלָלָ֣ה וּלְחֶרְפָּ֔ה בְּכֹ֖ל גּוֹיֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:8 provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, burning sacrifices to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you are entering to reside, so that you might be cut off and become a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth? (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:9 ============ Jer 44:9 Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?(KJV) Jeremiah 44:9 Haue yee forgotten the wickednes of your fathers, and the wickednesse of the Kings of Iudah and the wickednesse of their wiues and your owne wickednes & the wickednes of your wiues, which they haue committed in the land of Iudah and in the streetes of Ierusalem?(Geneva) Jérémie 44:9 Avez-vous oublié les crimes de vos pères, les crimes des rois de Juda, les crimes de leurs femmes, vos crimes et les crimes de vos femmes, commis dans le pays de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem?(FR) 9 ׃44 הַֽשְׁכַחְתֶּם֩ אֶת־רָע֨וֹת אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֜ם וְאֶת־רָע֣וֹת ׀ מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֗ה וְאֵת֙ רָע֣וֹת נָשָׁ֔יו וְאֵת֙ רָעֹ֣תֵכֶ֔ם וְאֵ֖ת רָעֹ֣ת נְשֵׁיכֶ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשׂוּ֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֔ה וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:9 Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:10 ============ Jer 44:10 They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:10 They are not humbled vnto this day, neither haue they feared nor walked in my lawe nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:10 Ils ne se sont point humiliés jusqu'à ce jour, ils n'ont point eu de crainte, ils n'ont point suivi ma loi et mes commandements, que j'ai mis devant vous et devant vos pères.(FR) 10 ׃44 לֹ֣א דֻכְּא֔וּ עַ֖ד הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה וְלֹ֣א יָרְא֗וּ וְלֹֽא־הָלְכ֤וּ בְתֽוֹרָתִי֙ וּבְחֻקֹּתַ֔י אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥תִּי לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם וְלִפְנֵ֥י אֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 44:10 But they have not become contrite even to this day, nor have they feared nor walked in My law or My statutes, which I have set before you and before your fathers."'(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:11 ============ Jer 44:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:11 Therefore thus sayeth the Lorde of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I will set my face against you to euill and to destroy all Iudah,(Geneva) Jérémie 44:11 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je tourne ma face contre vous pour faire du mal, et pour exterminer tout Juda.(FR) 11 ׃44 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הִנְנִ֨י שָׂ֥ם פָּנַ֛י בָּכֶ֖ם לְרָעָ֑ה וּלְהַכְרִ֖ית אֶת־כָּל־יְהוּדָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:11 "Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Behold, I am going to set My face against you for woe, even to cut off all Judah. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:12 ============ Jer 44:12 And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:12 And I will take the remnant of Iudah, that haue set their faces to goe into the lande of Egypt there to dwell, and they shall all bee consumed and fall in the lande of Egypt: they shall euen bee consumed by the sworde and by the famine: they shall die from the least vnto the most, by the sworde, and by the famine, and they shall be a detestation and an astonishment and a curse and a reproche.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:12 Je prendrai les restes de Juda qui ont tourné le visage pour aller au pays d'Egypte, afin d'y demeurer; ils seront tous consumés, ils tomberont dans le pays d'Egypte; ils seront consumés par l'épée, par la famine, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand; ils périront par l'épée et par la famine; et ils seront un sujet d'exécration, d'épouvante, de malédiction et d'opprobre.(FR) 12 ׃44 וְלָקַחְתִּ֞י אֶת־שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יְהוּדָ֗ה אֲשֶׁר־שָׂ֨מוּ פְנֵיהֶ֜ם לָב֣וֹא אֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַיִם֮ לָג֣וּר שָׁם֒ וְתַ֨מּוּ כֹ֜ל בְּאֶ֧רֶץ מִצְרַ֣יִם יִפֹּ֗לוּ בַּחֶ֤רֶב בָּֽרָעָב֙ יִתַּ֔מּוּ מִקָּטֹן֙ וְעַד־גָּד֔וֹל בַּחֶ֥רֶב וּבָרָעָ֖ב יָמֻ֑תוּ וְהָיוּ֙ לְאָלָ֣ה לְשַׁמָּ֔ה וְלִקְלָלָ֖ה וּלְחֶרְפָּֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:12 And I will take away the remnant of Judah who have set their mind on entering the land of Egypt to reside there, and they will all meet their end in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword and meet their end by famine. Both small and great will die by the sword and famine; and they will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:13 ============ Jer 44:13 For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:(KJV) Jeremiah 44:13 For I will visite them that dwel in the land of Egypt, as I haue visited Ierusalem, by ye sworde, by the famine, and by the pestilence,(Geneva) Jérémie 44:13 Je châtierai ceux qui demeurent au pays d'Egypte, comme j'ai châtié Jérusalem, par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste.(FR) 13 ׃44 וּפָקַדְתִּ֗י עַ֤ל הַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר פָּקַ֖דְתִּי עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם בַּחֶ֖רֶב בָּרָעָ֥ב וּבַדָּֽבֶר׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:13 And I will punish those who live in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, with the sword, with famine and with pestilence. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:14 ============ Jer 44:14 So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:14 So that none of the remnant of Iudah, which are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall escape or remaine, that they shoulde returne into the land of Iudah to the which they haue a desire to returne to dwell there: for none shall returne, but such as shall escape.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:14 Nul n'échappera, ne fuira, parmi les restes de Juda qui sont venus pour demeurer au pays d'Egypte, avec l'intention de retourner dans le pays de Juda, où ils ont le désir de retourner s'établir; car ils n'y retourneront pas, sinon quelques réchappés.(FR) 14 ׃44 וְלֹ֨א יִהְיֶ֜ה פָּלִ֤יט וְשָׂרִיד֙ לִשְׁאֵרִ֣ית יְהוּדָ֔ה הַבָּאִ֥ים לָגֽוּר־שָׁ֖ם בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְלָשׁ֣וּב ׀ אֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֗ה אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֜מָּה מְנַשְּׂאִ֤ים אֶת־נַפְשָׁם֙ לָשׁוּב֙ לָשֶׁ֣בֶת שָׁ֔ם כִּ֥י לֹֽא־יָשׁ֖וּבוּ כִּ֥י אִם־פְּלֵטִֽים׃ ס Jeremiah Jer 44:14 So there will be no refugees or survivors for the remnant of Judah who have entered the land of Egypt to reside there and then to return to the land of Judah, to which they are longing to return and live; for none will return except a few refugees.'"(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:15 ============ Jer 44:15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,(KJV) Jeremiah 44:15 Then all the men which knewe that their wiues had burnt incense vnto other gods and all the wome that stoode by, a great multitude, euen all the people that dwelt in the lande of Egypt in Pathros, answered Ieremiah, saying,(Geneva) Jérémie 44:15 Tous les hommes qui savaient que leurs femmes offraient de l'encens à d'autres dieux, toutes les femmes qui se trouvaient là en grand nombre, et tout le peuple qui demeurait au pays d'Egypte, à Pathros, répondirent ainsi à Jérémie:(FR) 15 ׃44 וַיַּעֲנ֣וּ אֶֽת־יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ כָּל־הָאֲנָשִׁ֤ים הַיֹּֽדְעִים֙ כִּֽי־מְקַטְּר֤וֹת נְשֵׁיהֶם֙ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְכָל־הַנָּשִׁ֥ים הָעֹמְד֖וֹת קָהָ֣ל גָּד֑וֹל וְכָל־הָעָ֛ם הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים בְּאֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַ֖יִם בְּפַתְר֥וֹס לֵאמֹֽר׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:15 Then all the men who were aware that their wives were burning sacrifices to other gods, along with all the women who were standing by, as a large assembly, including all the people who were living in Pathros in the land of Egypt, responded to Jeremiah, saying, (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:16 ============ Jer 44:16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:16 The worde that thou hast spoken vnto vs in the Name of the Lorde, wee will not heare it of thee,(Geneva) Jérémie 44:16 Nous ne t'obéirons en rien de ce que tu nous as dit au nom de l'Eternel.(FR) 16 ׃44 הַדָּבָ֛ר אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֥רְתָּ אֵלֵ֖ינוּ בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה אֵינֶ֥נּוּ שֹׁמְעִ֖ים אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Jeremiah Jer 44:16 "As for the message that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we are not going to listen to you! (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:17 ============ Jer 44:17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:17 But wee will doe whatsoeuer thing goeth out of our owne mouth, as to burne incense vnto the Queene of heauen, and to powre out drinke offerings vnto her, as we haue done, both we & our fathers, our Kings and our princes in the cities of Iudah, and in the streetes of Ierusalem: for then had wee plentie of vitailes and were well and felt none euill.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:17 Mais nous voulons agir comme l'a déclaré notre bouche, offrir de l'encens à la reine du ciel, et lui faire des libations, comme nous l'avons fait, nous et nos pères, nos rois et nos chefs, dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 44:28 ============ Jer 44:28 Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their's.(KJV) Jeremiah 44:28 Yet a small nomber that escape the sworde, shall returne out of the lande of Egypt into the lande of Iudah: and all the remnant of Iudah that are gone into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shal know whose words shall stad, mine or theirs.(Geneva) Jérémie 44:28 Ceux, en petit nombre, qui échapperont à l'épée, retourneront du pays d'Egypte au pays de Juda. Then all the remnant of Judah who have gone to the land of Egypt to reside there will know whose word will stand, Mine or theirs.
