The more his fruit, The more altars he made; The richer his land, The better he made the sacred pillars. L'Eternel renversera leurs autels, détruira leurs statues.(FR) 2 ׃10 חָלַ֥ק לִבָּ֖ם עַתָּ֣ה יֶאְשָׁ֑מוּ ה֚וּא יַעֲרֹ֣ף מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֔ם יְשֹׁדֵ֖ד מַצֵּבוֹתָֽם׃ Hosea Hos 10:2 Their heart is faithless; Now they must bear their guilt. The Lord will break down their altars And destroy their sacred pillars. (nasb) ======= Hosea 10:5 ============ Hos 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.(KJV) Hosea 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria shal feare because of the calfe of Beth-auen: for the people thereof shall mourne ouer it, and the Chemarims thereof, that reioyced on it for the glorie thereof, because it is departed from it.(Geneva) Osée 10:5 Les habitants de Samarie seront consternés au sujet des veaux de Beth-Aven; Le peuple mènera deuil sur l'idole, Et ses prêtres trembleront pour elle, Pour sa gloire, qui va disparaître du milieu d'eux.(FR) 5 ׃10 לְעֶגְלוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית אָ֔וֶן יָג֖וּרוּ שְׁכַ֣ן שֹֽׁמְר֑וֹן כִּי־אָבַ֨ל עָלָ֜יו עַמּ֗וֹ וּכְמָרָיו֙ עָלָ֣יו יָגִ֔ילוּ עַל־כְּבוֹד֖וֹ כִּֽי־גָלָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ Hosea Hos 10:5 The inhabitants of Samaria will fear For the calf of Beth-aven. Indeed, its people will mourn for it, And its idolatrous priests will cry out over it, Over its glory, since it has departed from it. (nasb) ======= Hosea 10:6 ============ Hos 10:6 It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.(KJV) Hosea 10:6 It shall bee also brought to Asshur, for a present vnto King Iareb: Ephraim shall receiue shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his owne counsell.(Geneva) Osée 10:6 Elle sera transportée en Assyrie, Pour servir de présent au roi Jareb. La confusion saisira Ephraïm, Et Israël aura honte de ses desseins.(FR) 6 ׃10 גַּם־אוֹתוֹ֙ לְאַשּׁ֣וּר יוּבָ֔ל מִנְחָ֖ה לְמֶ֣לֶךְ יָרֵ֑ב בָּשְׁנָה֙ אֶפְרַ֣יִם יִקָּ֔ח וְיֵב֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵעֲצָתֽוֹ׃ Hosea Hos 10:6 The thing itself will be carried to Assyria As tribute to King Jareb; Ephraim will be seized with shame And Israel will be ashamed of its own counsel. (nasb) ======= Hosea 10:7 ============ Hos 10:7 As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.(KJV) Hosea 10:7 Of Samaria, the King thereof is destroyed as the some vpon the water.(Geneva) Osée 10:7 C'en est fait de Samarie, de son roi, Comme de l'écume à la surface des eaux.(FR) 7 ׃10 נִדְמֶ֥ה שֹׁמְר֖וֹן מַלְכָּ֑הּ כְּקֶ֖צֶף עַל־פְּנֵי־מָֽיִם׃ Hosea Hos 10:7 Samaria will be cut off with her king Like a stick on the surface of the water. (nasb) ======= Hosea 10:8 ============ Hos 10:8 The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.(KJV) Hosea 10:8 The hie places also of Auen shall be destroied, euen the sinne of Israel: the thorne and the thistle shall growe vpon their altars, and they shal say to the mountaines, Couer vs, and to the hils, Fall vpon vs.(Geneva) Osée 10:8 Les hauts lieux de Beth-Aven, où Israël a péché, seront détruits; L'épine et la ronce croîtront sur leurs autels. Ils diront aux montagnes: Couvrez-nous! Et aux collines: Tombez sur nous!(FR) 8 ׃10 וְנִשְׁמְד֞וּ בָּמ֣וֹת אָ֗וֶן חַטַּאת֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל ק֣וֹץ וְדַרְדַּ֔ר יַעֲלֶ֖ה עַל־מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֑ם וְאָמְר֤וּ לֶֽהָרִים֙ כַּסּ֔וּנוּ וְלַגְּבָע֖וֹת נִפְל֥וּ עָלֵֽינוּ׃ ס Hosea Hos 10:8 Also the high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, will be destroyed; Thorn and thistle will grow on their altars; Then they will say to the mountains, "Cover us!" (nasb) ======= Hosea 10:12 ============ Hos 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.(KJV) Hosea 10:12 Sowe to your selues in righteousnes: reape after the measure of mercy: breake vp your fallowe grounde: for it is time to seeke the Lorde, till he come and raine righteousnesse vpon you.(Geneva) Osée 10:12 Semez selon la justice, moissonnez selon la miséricorde, Défrichez-vous un champ nouveau!
