He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. (nasb) ======= Micah 1:4 ============ Mic 1:4 And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.(KJV) Micah 1:4 And the mountaines shall melt vnder him (so shall the valleys cleaue) as waxe before the fire, and as the waters that are powred downewarde.(Geneva) Michée 1:4 Sous lui les montagnes se fondent, Les vallées s'entr'ouvrent, Comme la cire devant le feu, Comme l'eau qui coule sur une pente.(FR) 4 ׃1 וְנָמַ֤סּוּ הֶֽהָרִים֙ תַּחְתָּ֔יו וְהָעֲמָקִ֖ים יִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ כַּדּוֹנַג֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הָאֵ֔שׁ כְּמַ֖יִם מֻגָּרִ֥ים בְּמוֹרָֽד׃ Micah Mic 1:4 The mountains will melt under Him And the valleys will be split, Like wax before the fire, Like water poured down a steep place. (nasb) ======= Micah 1:5 ============ Mic 1:5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?(KJV) Micah 1:5 For the wickednes of Iaakob is all this, & for the sinnes of the house of Israel: what is the wickednes of Iaakob? Is not Samaria? & which are the hie places of Iudah? Is not Ierusalem?(Geneva) Michée 1:5 Et tout cela à cause du crime de Jacob, A cause des péchés de la maison d'Israël! Quel est le crime de Jacob? n'est-ce pas Samarie? Quels sont les hauts lieux de Juda? n'est-ce pas Jérusalem?...(FR) 5 ׃1 בְּפֶ֤שַׁע יַֽעֲקֹב֙ כָּל־זֹ֔את וּבְחַטֹּ֖אות בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִֽי־פֶ֣שַׁע יַעֲקֹ֗ב הֲלוֹא֙ שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן וּמִי֙ בָּמ֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֔ה הֲל֖וֹא יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Micah Mic 1:5 All this is for the rebellion of Jacob And for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the rebellion of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? What is the high place of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem? (nasb) ======= Micah 1:6 ============ Mic 1:6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.(KJV) Micah 1:6 Therefore I wil make Samaria as an heape of the fielde, and for the planting of a vineyard, and I will cause the stones thereof to tumble downe into the valley, and I will discouer the foundations thereof.(Geneva) Michée 1:6 Je ferai de Samarie un monceau de pierres dans les champs, Un lieu pour planter de la vigne; Je précipiterai ses pierres dans la vallée, Je mettrai à nu ses fondements.(FR) 6 ׃1 וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י שֹׁמְר֛וֹן לְעִ֥י הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה לְמַטָּ֣עֵי כָ֑רֶם וְהִגַּרְתִּ֤י לַגַּי֙ אֲבָנֶ֔יהָ וִיסֹדֶ֖יהָ אֲגַלֶּֽה׃ Micah Mic 1:6 For I will make Samaria a heap of ruins in the open country, Planting places for a vineyard. I will pour her stones down into the valley And will lay bare her foundations. (nasb) ======= Micah 1:7 ============ Mic 1:7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.(KJV) Micah 1:7 And all the grauen images thereof shalbe broken, and all the giftes thereof shalbe burnt with the fire, and all the idoles thereof will I destroy: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shal returne to the wages of an harlot.(Geneva) Michée 1:7 Toutes ses images taillées seront brisées, Tous ses salaires impurs seront brûlés au feu, Et je ravagerai toutes ses idoles: Recueillies avec le salaire de la prostitution, Elles deviendront un salaire de prostitutions...(FR) 7 ׃1 וְכָל־פְּסִילֶ֣יהָ יֻכַּ֗תּוּ וְכָל־אֶתְנַנֶּ֙יהָ֙ יִשָּׂרְפ֣וּ בָאֵ֔שׁ וְכָל־עֲצַבֶּ֖יהָ אָשִׂ֣ים שְׁמָמָ֑ה כִּ֠י מֵאֶתְנַ֤ן זוֹנָה֙ קִבָּ֔צָה וְעַד־אֶתְנַ֥ן זוֹנָ֖ה יָשֽׁוּבוּ׃ Micah Mic 1:7 All of her idols will be smashed, All of her earnings will be burned with fire And all of her images I will make desolate, For she collected them from a harlot's earnings, And to the earnings of a harlot they will return. (nasb) ======= Micah 1:8 ============ Mic 1:8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.(KJV) Micah 1:8 Therefore I will mourne and howle: I wil goe without clothes, and naked: I will make lamentation like the dragons, and mourning as the ostriches.(Geneva) Michée 1:8 C'est pourquoi je pleurerai, je me lamenterai, Je marcherai déchaussé et nu, Je pousserai des cris comme le chacal, Et des gémissements comme l'autruche.(FR) 8 ׃1 עַל־זֹאת֙ אֶסְפְּדָ֣ה וְאֵילִ֔ילָה אֵילְכָ֥ה *שילל **שׁוֹלָ֖ל וְעָר֑וֹם אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה מִסְפֵּד֙ כַּתַּנִּ֔ים וְאֵ֖בֶל כִּבְנ֥וֹת יַעֲנָֽה׃ Micah Mic 1:8 Because of this I must lament and wail, I must go barefoot and naked; I must make a lament like the jackals And a mourning like the ostriches. At Beth-le-aphrah roll yourself in the dust. (nasb) ======= Micah 1:11 ============ Mic 1:11 Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.(KJV) Micah 1:11 Thou that dwellest at Shaphir, go together naked with shame: she that dwelleth at Zaanan, shal not come forth in ye mourning of Beth-ezel: the enemie shall receiue of you for his standing.(Geneva) Michée 1:11 Passe, habitante de Schaphir, dans la nudité et la honte! The inhabitant of Zaanan does not escape.
