Today's Date: ======= Haggai 1:1 ============ Hag 1:1 In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,(KJV) Haggai 1:1 In the second yeere of King Darius, in the sixt moneth, the first day of the moneth, came ye worde of the Lorde (by the ministery of the Prophet Haggai) vnto Zerubbabel the sonne of Shealtiel, a prince of Iudah, and to Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest, saying,(Geneva) Aggée 1:1 La seconde année du roi Darius, le premier jour du sixième mois, la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée par Aggée, le prophète, à Zorobabel, fils de Schealthiel, gouverneur de Juda, et à Josué, fils de Jotsadak, le souverain sacrificateur, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃1 בִּשְׁנַ֤ת שְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ לְדָרְיָ֣וֶשׁ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י בְּי֥וֹם אֶחָ֖ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֨ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֜ה בְּיַד־חַגַּ֣י הַנָּבִ֗יא אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙ פַּחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֧עַ בֶּן־יְהוֹצָדָ֛ק הַכֹּהֵ֥ן הַגָּד֖וֹל לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 1:1 In the second year of Darius the king, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the Lord came by the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying, (nasb) ======= Haggai 1:2 ============ Hag 1:2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD's house should be built.(KJV) Haggai 1:2 Thus speaketh the Lorde of hostes, saying, This people say, The time is not yet come, that the Lords House should be builded.(Geneva) Aggée 1:2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Ce peuple dit: Le temps n'est pas venu, le temps de rebâtir la maison de l'Eternel.(FR) 2 ׃1 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת לֵאמֹ֑ר הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ אָֽמְר֔וּ לֹ֥א עֶת־בֹּ֛א עֶת־בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה לְהִבָּנֽוֹת׃ פ Haggai Hag 1:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'This people says, "The time has not come, even the time for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt."'"(nasb) ======= Haggai 1:3 ============ Hag 1:3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,(KJV) Haggai 1:3 Then came the worde of the Lorde by the ministerie of the Prophet Haggai, saying,(Geneva) Aggée 1:3 C'est pourquoi la parole de l'Eternel leur fut adressée par Aggée, le prophète, en ces mots:(FR) 3 ׃1 וַֽיְהִי֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה בְּיַד־חַגַּ֥י הַנָּבִ֖יא לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 1:3 Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, (nasb) ======= Haggai 1:4 ============ Hag 1:4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?(KJV) Haggai 1:4 Is it time for your selues to dwell in your sieled houses, and this House lie waste?(Geneva) Aggée 1:4 Est-ce le temps pour vous d'habiter vos demeures lambrissées, Quand cette maison est détruite?(FR) 4 ׃1 הַעֵ֤ת לָכֶם֙ אַתֶּ֔ם לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בְּבָתֵּיכֶ֣ם סְפוּנִ֑ים וְהַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּ֖ה חָרֵֽב׃ Haggai Hag 1:4 "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies desolate?"(nasb) ======= Haggai 1:5 ============ Hag 1:5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.(KJV) Haggai 1:5 Now therefore thus saith ye Lord of hostes, Consider your owne wayes in your hearts.(Geneva) Aggée 1:5 Ainsi parle maintenant l'Eternel des armées: Considérez attentivement vos voies!(FR) 5 ׃1 וְעַתָּ֕ה כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת שִׂ֥ימוּ לְבַבְכֶ֖ם עַל־דַּרְכֵיכֶֽם׃ Haggai Hag 1:5 Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, "Consider your ways! (nasb) ======= Haggai 1:9 ============ Hag 1:9 Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.(KJV) Haggai 1:9 Ye looked for much, and lo, it came to litle: and when ye brought it home, I did blowe vpon it; why, sayth the Lord of hostes? Because of mine House that is waste, and ye runne euery man vnto his owne house.(Geneva) Aggée 1:9 Vous comptiez sur beaucoup, et voici, vous avez eu peu; Vous l'avez rentré chez vous, mais j'ai soufflé dessus. Pourquoi? dit l'Eternel des armées. A cause de ma maison, qui est détruite, Tandis que vous vous empressez chacun pour sa maison.(FR) 9 ׃1 פָּנֹ֤ה אֶל־הַרְבֵּה֙ וְהִנֵּ֣ה לִמְעָ֔ט וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם הַבַּ֖יִת וְנָפַ֣חְתִּי ב֑וֹ יַ֣עַן מֶ֗ה נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת יַ֗עַן בֵּיתִי֙ אֲשֶׁר־ה֣וּא חָרֵ֔ב וְאַתֶּ֥ם רָצִ֖ים אִ֥ישׁ לְבֵיתֽוֹ׃ Haggai Hag 1:9 "You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?" declares the Lord of hosts," Because of My house which lies desolate, while each of you runs to his own house. (nasb) ======= Haggai 1:10 ============ Hag 1:10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.(KJV) Haggai 1:10 Therefore the heauen ouer you stayed it selfe from dewe, and the earth stayed her fruite.(Geneva) Aggée 1:10 C'est pourquoi les cieux vous ont refusé la rosée, Et la terre a refusé ses produits.(FR) 10 ׃1 עַל־כֵּ֣ן עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם כָּלְא֥וּ שָ[c]מַ֖יִם מִטָּ֑ל וְהָאָ֖רֶץ כָּלְאָ֥ה יְבוּלָֽהּ׃ Haggai Hag 1:10 Therefore, because of you the sky has withheld its dew and the earth has withheld its produce. (nasb) ======= Haggai 1:11 ============ Hag 1:11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.(KJV) Haggai 1:11 And I called for a drought vpon the land, and vpon the mountaines, & vpon the corne, and vpon the wine, and vpon the oyle, vpon all that the ground bringeth foorth: both vpon men and vpon cattell, and vpon all the labour of the hands.(Geneva) Aggée 1:11 J'ai appelé la sécheresse sur le pays, sur les montagnes, Sur le blé, sur le moût, sur l'huile, Sur ce que la terre peut rapporter, Sur les hommes et sur les bêtes, Et sur tout le travail des mains.(FR) 11 ׃1 וָאֶקְרָ֨א חֹ֜רֶב עַל־הָאָ֣רֶץ וְעַל־הֶהָרִ֗ים וְעַל־הַדָּגָן֙ וְעַל־הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְעַל־הַיִּצְהָ֔ר וְעַ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר תּוֹצִ֖יא הָאֲדָמָ֑ה וְעַל־הָֽאָדָם֙ וְעַל־הַבְּהֵמָ֔ה וְעַ֖ל כָּל־יְגִ֥יעַ כַּפָּֽיִם׃ ס Haggai Hag 1:11 I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on men, on cattle, and on all the labor of your hands."(nasb) ======= Haggai 1:12 ============ Hag 1:12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.(KJV) Haggai 1:12 When Zerubbabel the sonne of Shealtiel, and Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest with all the remnant of the people, heard the voyce of the Lord their God, & the wordes of the Prophet Haggai (as the Lorde their God had sent him) then the people did feare before the Lorde.(Geneva) Aggée 1:12 Zorobabel, fils de Schealthiel, Josué, fils de Jotsadak, le souverain sacrificateur, et tout le reste du peuple, entendirent la voix de l'Eternel, leur Dieu, et les paroles d'Aggée, le prophète, selon la mission que lui avait donnée l'Eternel, leur Dieu. Et le peuple fut saisi de crainte devant l'Eternel.(FR) 12 ׃1 וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע זְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל ׀ בֶּֽן־שַׁלְתִּיאֵ֡ל וִיהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בֶּן־יְהוֹצָדָק֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן הַגָּד֜וֹל וְכֹ֣ל ׀ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית הָעָ֗ם בְּקוֹל֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם וְעַל־דִּבְרֵי֙ חַגַּ֣י הַנָּבִ֔יא כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר שְׁלָח֖וֹ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּֽירְא֥וּ הָעָ֖ם מִפְּנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Haggai Hag 1:12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him. And the people showed reverence for the Lord. (nasb) ======= Haggai 1:13 ============ Hag 1:13 Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.(KJV) Haggai 1:13 Then spake Haggai the Lords messenger in the Lords message vnto the people, saying, I am with you, sayth the Lord.(Geneva) Aggée 1:13 Aggée, envoyé de l'Eternel, dit au peuple, d'après l'ordre de l'Eternel: Je suis avec vous, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 13 ׃1 וַ֠יֹּאמֶר חַגַּ֞י מַלְאַ֧ךְ יְהוָ֛ה בְּמַלְאֲכ֥וּת יְהוָ֖ה לָעָ֣ם לֵאמֹ֑ר אֲנִ֥י אִתְּכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ Haggai Hag 1:13 Then Haggai, the messenger of the Lord, spoke by the commission of the Lord to the people saying, "'I am with you,' declares the Lord."(nasb) ======= Haggai 1:14 ============ Hag 1:14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,(KJV) Haggai 1:14 And the Lord stirred vp the spirite of Zerubbabel, the sonne of Shealtiel a prince of Iudah, and the spirit of Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people, and they came, and did the worke in the House of the Lorde of hostes their God.(Geneva) Aggée 1:14 L'Eternel réveilla l'esprit de Zorobabel, fils de Schealthiel, gouverneur de Juda, et l'esprit de Josué, fils de Jotsadak, le souverain sacrificateur, et l'esprit de tout le reste du peuple.
