Today's Date: ======= Haggai 2:1 ============ Hag 2:1 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,(KJV) Haggai 2:1 (2:2) In the seuenth moneth, in the one & twentieth day of the moneth, came the worde of the Lorde by the ministerie of the Prophet Haggai, saying,(Geneva) Aggée 2:1 Le vingt et unième jour du septième mois, la parole de l'Eternel se révéla par Aggée, le prophète, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃2 בַּשְּׁבִיעִ֕י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְאֶחָ֖ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָה֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה בְּיַד־חַגַּ֥י הַנָּבִ֖יא לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 2:1 On the twenty-first of the seventh month, the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet saying, (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:2 ============ Hag 2:2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,(KJV) Haggai 2:2 (2:3) Speake nowe to Zerubbabel the sonne of Shealtiel prince of Iudah, and to Iehoshua the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,(Geneva) Aggée 2:2 Parle à Zorobabel, fils de Schealthiel, gouverneur de Juda, à Josué, fils de Jotsadak, le souverain sacrificateur, et au reste du peuple, et dis-leur:(FR) 2 ׃2 אֱמָר־נָ֗א אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל בֶּן־שַׁלְתִּיאֵל֙ פַּחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ בֶּן־יְהוֹצָדָ֖ק הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּד֑וֹל וְאֶל־שְׁאֵרִ֥ית הָעָ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 2:2 "Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying, (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:3 ============ Hag 2:3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?(KJV) Haggai 2:3 (2:4) Who is left among you, that sawe this House in her first glory, and howe doe you see it nowe? is it not in your eyes, in comparison of it as nothing?(Geneva) Aggée 2:3 Quel est parmi vous le survivant Qui ait vu cette maison dans sa gloire première? Et comment la voyez-vous maintenant? Telle qu'elle est, ne paraît-elle pas comme rien à vos yeux?(FR) 3 ׃2 מִ֤י בָכֶם֙ הַנִּשְׁאָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֤ר רָאָה֙ אֶת־הַבַּ֣יִת הַזֶּ֔ה בִּכְבוֹד֖וֹ הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן וּמָ֨ה אַתֶּ֜ם רֹאִ֤ים אֹתוֹ֙ עַ֔תָּה הֲל֥וֹא כָמֹ֛הוּ כְּאַ֖יִן בְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ Haggai Hag 2:3 'Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:4 ============ Hag 2:4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:(KJV) Haggai 2:4 (2:5) Yet nowe be of good courage, O Zerubbabel, sayth the Lord, and be of good comfort, O Iehoshua, sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest: and be strong, all ye people of the land, sayth the Lorde, and doe it: for I am with you, sayth the Lord of hostes,(Geneva) Aggée 2:4 Maintenant fortifie-toi, Zorobabel! dit l'Eternel. Fortifie-toi, Josué, fils de Jotsadak, souverain sacrificateur! Fortifie-toi, peuple entier du pays! dit l'Eternel. Et travaillez! Car je suis avec vous, Dit l'Eternel des armées.(FR) 4 ׃2 וְעַתָּ֣ה חֲזַ֣ק זְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל ׀ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֡ה וַחֲזַ֣ק יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בֶּן־יְהוֹצָדָק֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן הַגָּד֜וֹל וַחֲזַ֨ק כָּל־עַ֥ם הָאָ֛רֶץ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֖ה וַֽעֲשׂ֑וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י אִתְּכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ Haggai Hag 2:4 But now take courage, Zerubbabel, 'declares the Lord, 'take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage, 'declares the Lord, 'and work; for I am with you,' declares the Lord of hosts. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:5 ============ Hag 2:5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.(KJV) Haggai 2:5 (2:6) According to the worde that I couenanted with you, when ye came out of Egypt: so my Spirite shall remaine among you, feare ye not.(Geneva) Aggée 2:5 Je reste fidèle à l'alliance que j'ai faite avec vous Quand vous sortîtes de l'Egypte, Et mon esprit est au milieu de vous; Ne craignez pas!(FR) 5 ׃2 אֶֽת־הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־כָּרַ֤תִּי אִתְּכֶם֙ בְּצֵאתְכֶ֣ם מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם וְרוּחִ֖י עֹמֶ֣דֶת בְּתוֹכְכֶ֑ם אַל־תִּירָֽאוּ׃ ס Haggai Hag 2:5 'As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!'(nasb) ======= Haggai 2:6 ============ Hag 2:6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;(KJV) Haggai 2:6 (2:7) For thus sayth the Lorde of hostes, Yet a litle while, and I will shake the heauens and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land:(Geneva) Aggée 2:6 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Encore un peu de temps, Et j'ébranlerai les cieux et la terre, La mer et le sec;(FR) 6 ׃2 כִּ֣י כֹ֤ה אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת ע֥וֹד אַחַ֖ת מְעַ֣ט הִ֑יא וַאֲנִ֗י מַרְעִישׁ֙ אֶת־הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם וְאֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְאֶת־הַיָּ֖ם וְאֶת־הֶחָרָבָֽה׃ Haggai Hag 2:6 For thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:7 ============ Hag 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.(KJV) Haggai 2:7 (2:8) And I will moue all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come, and I will fill this House with glory, sayth the Lord of hostes.(Geneva) Aggée 2:7 J'ébranlerai toutes les nations; Les trésors de toutes les nations viendront, Et je remplirai de gloire cette maison, Dit l'Eternel des armées.(FR) 7 ׃2 וְהִרְעַשְׁתִּי֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם וּבָ֖אוּ חֶמְדַּ֣ת כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וּמִלֵּאתִ֞י אֶת־הַבַּ֤יִת הַזֶּה֙ כָּב֔וֹד אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ Haggai Hag 2:7 I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory, 'says the Lord of hosts. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:8 ============ Hag 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.(KJV) Haggai 2:8 (2:9) The siluer is mine, and the golde is mine, sayth the Lord of hostes.(Geneva) Aggée 2:8 L'argent est à moi, et l'or est à moi, Dit l'Eternel des armées.(FR) 8 ׃2 לִ֥י הַכֶּ֖סֶף וְלִ֣י הַזָּהָ֑ב נְאֻ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ Haggai Hag 2:8 'The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,' declares the Lord of hosts. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:9 ============ Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.(KJV) Haggai 2:9 (2:10) The glory of this last House shall be greater then the first, sayth the Lorde of hostes: and in this place will I giue peace, sayth the Lorde of hostes.(Geneva) Aggée 2:9 La gloire de cette dernière maison sera plus grande Que celle de la première, Dit l'Eternel des armées; Et c'est dans ce lieu que je donnerai la paix, Dit l'Eternel des armées.(FR) 9 ׃2 גָּד֣וֹל יִֽהְיֶ֡ה כְּבוֹד֩ הַבַּ֨יִת הַזֶּ֤ה הָאַֽחֲרוֹן֙ מִן־הָ֣רִאשׁ֔וֹן אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת וּבַמָּק֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן שָׁל֔וֹם נְאֻ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ פ Haggai Hag 2:9 'The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts, 'and in this place I will give peace,' declares the Lord of hosts."(nasb) ======= Haggai 2:10 ============ Hag 2:10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,(KJV) Haggai 2:10 (2:11) In the foure and twentieth day of the ninth moneth, in the second yeere of Darius, came the worde of the Lorde vnto the Prophet Haggai, saying,(Geneva) Aggée 2:10 le vingt-quatrième jour du neuvième mois, la seconde année de Darius, la parole de l'Eternel se révéla par Aggée, le prophète, en ces mots:(FR) 10 ׃2 בְּעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וְאַרְבָּעָה֙ לַתְּשִׁיעִ֔י בִּשְׁנַ֥ת שְׁתַּ֖יִם לְדָרְיָ֑וֶשׁ הָיָה֙ דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־חַגַּ֥י הַנָּבִ֖יא לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 2:10 On the twenty-fourth of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to Haggai the prophet, saying, (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:11 ============ Hag 2:11 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,(KJV) Haggai 2:11 (2:12) Thus sayth the Lord of hostes, Aske nowe the Priests concerning the Law, and say,(Geneva) Aggée 2:11 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Propose aux sacrificateurs cette question sur la loi:(FR) 11 ׃2 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת שְׁאַל־נָ֧א אֶת־הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים תּוֹרָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 2:11 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, 'Ask now the priests for a ruling: (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:12 ============ Hag 2:12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.(KJV) Haggai 2:12 (2:13) If one beare holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, & with his skirt doe touch the bread, or the potage, or the wine, or oyle, or any meate, shal it be holy? And the Priests answered and said, No.(Geneva) Aggée 2:12 Si quelqu'un porte dans le pan de son vêtement de la chair consacrée, et qu'il touche avec son vêtement du pain, des mets, du vin, de l'huile, ou un aliment quelconque, ces choses seront-elles sanctifiées? Les sacrificateurs répondirent: Non!(FR) 12 ׃2 הֵ֣ן ׀ יִשָּׂא־אִ֨ישׁ בְּשַׂר־קֹ֜דֶשׁ בִּכְנַ֣ף בִּגְד֗וֹ וְנָגַ֣ע בִּ֠כְנָפוֹ אֶל־הַלֶּ֨חֶם וְאֶל־הַנָּזִ֜יד וְאֶל־הַיַּ֧יִן וְאֶל־שֶׁ֛מֶן וְאֶל־כָּל־מַאֲכָ֖ל הֲיִקְדָּ֑שׁ וַיַּעֲנ֧וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ לֹֽא׃ Haggai Hag 2:12 If a man carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and touches bread with this fold, or cooked food, wine, oil, or any other food, will it become holy?'" And the priests answered, "No."(nasb) ======= Haggai 2:13 ============ Hag 2:13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.(KJV) Haggai 2:13 (2:14) Then sayde Haggai, If a polluted person touch any of these, shall it be vncleane? And the Priests answered, and sayd, It shalbe vncleane.(Geneva) Aggée 2:13 Et Aggée dit: Si quelqu'un souillé par le contact d'un cadavre touche toutes ces choses, seront-elles souillées? Les sacrificateurs répondirent: Elles seront souillées.(FR) 13 ׃2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חַגַּ֔י אִם־יִגַּ֧ע טְמֵא־נֶ֛פֶשׁ בְּכָל־אֵ֖לֶּה הֲיִטְמָ֑א וַיַּעֲנ֧וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ יִטְמָֽא׃ Haggai Hag 2:13 Then Haggai said, "If one who is unclean from a corpse touches any of these, will the latter become unclean?" And the priests answered, "It will become unclean."(nasb) ======= Haggai 2:14 ============ Hag 2:14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.(KJV) Haggai 2:14 (2:15) Then answered Haggai, and sayd, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord: and so are all the workes of their hands, and that which they offer here, is vncleane.(Geneva) Aggée 2:14 Alors Aggée, reprenant la parole, dit: Tel est ce peuple, telle est cette nation devant moi, dit l'Eternel, Telles sont toutes les oeuvres de leurs mains; Ce qu'ils m'offrent là est souillé.(FR) 14 ׃2 וַיַּ֨עַן חַגַּ֜י וַיֹּ֗אמֶר כֵּ֣ן הָֽעָם־הַ֠זֶּה וְכֵן־הַגּ֨וֹי הַזֶּ֤ה לְפָנַי֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וְכֵ֖ן כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְדֵיהֶ֑ם וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר יַקְרִ֛יבוּ שָׁ֖ם טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃ Haggai Hag 2:14 Then Haggai said, "'So is this people. And so is this nation before Me,' declares the Lord, 'and so is every work of their hands; and what they offer there is unclean. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:15 ============ Hag 2:15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:(KJV) Haggai 2:15 (2:16) And nowe, I pray you, consider in your mindes: from this day, and afore, euen afore a stone was layde vpon a stone in the Temple of the Lorde:(Geneva) Aggée 2:15 Considérez donc attentivement Ce qui s'est passé jusqu'à ce jour, Avant qu'on eût mis pierre sur pierre au temple de l'Eternel!(FR) 15 ׃2 וְעַתָּה֙ שִֽׂימוּ־נָ֣א לְבַבְכֶ֔ם מִן־הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה וָמָ֑עְלָה מִטֶּ֧רֶם שֽׂוּם־אֶ֛בֶן אֶל־אֶ֖בֶן בְּהֵיכַ֥ל יְהוָֽה׃ Haggai Hag 2:15 But now, do consider from this day onward: before one stone was placed on another in the temple of the Lord, (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:16 ============ Hag 2:16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.(KJV) Haggai 2:16 (2:17) Before these things were, when one came to an heape of twentie measures, there were but ten: when one came to the wine presse for to drawe out fiftie vessels out of the presse, there were but twentie.(Geneva) Aggée 2:16 Alors, quand on venait à un tas de vingt mesures, Il n'y en avait que dix; Quand on venait à la cuve pour puiser cinquante mesures, Il n'y en avait que vingt.(FR) 16 ׃2 מִֽהְיוֹתָ֥ם בָּא֙ אֶל־עֲרֵמַ֣ת עֶשְׂרִ֔ים וְהָיְתָ֖ה עֲשָׂרָ֑ה בָּ֣א אֶל־הַיֶּ֗קֶב לַחְשֹׂף֙ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים פּוּרָ֔ה וְהָיְתָ֖ה עֶשְׂרִֽים׃ Haggai Hag 2:16 from that time when one came to a grain heap of twenty measures, there would be only ten; and when one came to the wine vat to draw fifty measures, there would be only twenty. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:17 ============ Hag 2:17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the LORD.(KJV) Haggai 2:17 (2:18) I smote you with blasting, and with mildewe, and with haile, in all the labours of your hands: yet you turned not to me, saith the Lord.(Geneva) Aggée 2:17 Je vous ai frappés par la rouille et par la nielle, et par la grêle; J'ai frappé tout le travail de vos mains. Malgré cela, vous n'êtes pas revenus à moi, dit l'Eternel.(FR) 17 ׃2 הִכֵּ֨יתִי אֶתְכֶ֜ם בַּשִּׁדָּפ֤וֹן וּבַיֵּֽרָקוֹן֙ וּבַבָּרָ֔ד אֵ֖ת כָּל־מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְדֵיכֶ֑ם וְאֵין־אֶתְכֶ֥ם אֵלַ֖י נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃ Haggai Hag 2:17 I smote you and every work of your hands with blasting wind, mildew and hail; yet you did not come back to Me,' declares the Lord. (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:18 ============ Hag 2:18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider it.(KJV) Haggai 2:18 (2:19) Consider, I pray you, in your mindes, from this day, and afore from the foure & twentieth day of the ninth moneth, euen from the day that the foundation of the Lords Temple was laide: consider it in your mindes.(Geneva) Aggée 2:18 Considérez attentivement Ce qui s'est passé jusqu'à ce jour, Jusqu'au vingt-quatrième jour du neuvième mois, Depuis le jour où le temple de l'Eternel a été fondé, Considérez-le attentivement!(FR) 18 ׃2 שִׂימוּ־נָ֣א לְבַבְכֶ֔ם מִן־הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה וָמָ֑עְלָה מִיּוֹם֩ עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְאַרְבָּעָ֜ה לַתְּשִׁיעִ֗י לְמִן־הַיּ֛וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יֻסַּ֥ד הֵֽיכַל־יְהוָ֖ה שִׂ֥ימוּ לְבַבְכֶֽם׃ Haggai Hag 2:18 'Do consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month; from the day when the temple of the Lord was founded, consider: (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:19 ============ Hag 2:19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.(KJV) Haggai 2:19 (2:20) Is the seede yet in the barne? as yet the vine, and the figtree, and the pomegranate, and the oliue tree hath not brought forth: from this day will I blesse you.(Geneva) Aggée 2:19 Y avait-il encore de la semence dans les greniers? Même la vigne, le figuier, le grenadier et l'olivier, N'ont rien rapporté. Mais dès ce jour je répandrai ma bénédiction.(FR) 19 ׃2 הַע֤וֹד הַזֶּ֙רַע֙ בַּמְּגוּרָ֔ה וְעַד־הַגֶּ֨פֶן וְהַתְּאֵנָ֧ה וְהָרִמּ֛וֹן וְעֵ֥ץ הַזַּ֖יִת לֹ֣א נָשָׂ֑א מִן־הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה אֲבָרֵֽךְ׃ ס Haggai Hag 2:19 Is the seed still in the barn? Even including the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree, it has not borne fruit. Yet from this day on I will bless you.'"(nasb) ======= Haggai 2:20 ============ Hag 2:20 And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,(KJV) Haggai 2:20 (2:21) And againe the worde of the Lorde came vnto Haggai in the foure and twentieth day of the moneth, saying,(Geneva) Aggée 2:20 La parole de l'Eternel fut adressée pour la seconde fois à Aggée, le vingt-quatrième jour du mois, en ces mots:(FR) 20 ׃2 וַיְהִ֨י דְבַר־יְהוָ֤ה ׀ שֵׁנִית֙ אֶל־חַגַּ֔י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֧ים וְאַרְבָּעָ֛ה לַחֹ֖דֶשׁ לֵאמֹֽר׃ Haggai Hag 2:20 Then the word of the Lord came a second time to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying, (nasb) ======= Haggai 2:21 ============ Hag 2:21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;(KJV) Haggai 2:21 (2:22) Speake to Zerubbabel the prince of Iudah, and say, I wil shake the heauens and the earth,(Geneva) Aggée 2:21 Parle à Zorobabel, gouverneur de Juda, et dis: J'ébranlerai les cieux et la terre;(FR) 21 ׃2 אֱמֹ֕ר אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶ֥ל פַּֽחַת־יְהוּדָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר אֲנִ֣י מַרְעִ֔ישׁ אֶת־הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וְאֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Haggai Hag 2:21 "Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah, saying, 'I am going to shake the heavens and the earth.
