Oui, je les maudirai, parce que vous ne l'avez pas à coeur.(FR) 2 ׃2 אִם־לֹ֣א תִשְׁמְע֡וּ וְאִם־לֹא֩ תָשִׂ֨ימוּ עַל־לֵ֜ב לָתֵ֧ת כָּב֣וֹד לִשְׁמִ֗י אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י בָכֶם֙ אֶת־הַמְּאֵרָ֔ה וְאָרוֹתִ֖י אֶת־בִּרְכֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם וְגַם֙ אָרוֹתִ֔יהָ כִּ֥י אֵינְכֶ֖ם שָׂמִ֥ים עַל־לֵֽב׃ Malachi Mal 2:2 If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name," says the Lord of hosts, "then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:3 ============ Mal 2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.(KJV) Malachi 2:3 Behold, I wil corrupt your seede, and cast dongue vpon your faces, euen the dongue of your solemne feastes, and you shall be like vnto it.(Geneva) Malachie 2:3 Voici, je détruirai vos semences, Et je vous jetterai des excréments au visage, Les excréments des victimes que vous sacrifiez, Et on vous emportera avec eux.(FR) 3 ׃2 הִנְנִ֨י גֹעֵ֤ר לָכֶם֙ אֶת־הַזֶּ֔רַע וְזֵרִ֤יתִי פֶ֙רֶשׁ֙ עַל־פְּנֵיכֶ֔ם פֶּ֖רֶשׁ חַגֵּיכֶ֑ם וְנָשָׂ֥א אֶתְכֶ֖ם אֵלָֽיו׃ Malachi Mal 2:3 Behold, I am going to rebuke your offspring, and I will spread refuse on your faces, the refuse of your feasts; and you will be taken away with it.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:4 ============ Mal 2:4 And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.(KJV) Malachi 2:4 And yee shall know, that I haue sent this commaundement vnto you, that my couenant, which I made with Leui, might stand, sayeth the Lord of hostes.(Geneva) Malachie 2:4 Vous saurez alors que je vous ai adressé cet ordre, Afin que mon alliance avec Lévi subsiste, Dit l'Eternel des armées.(FR) 4 ׃2 וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֚י שִׁלַּ֣חְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶ֔ם אֵ֖ת הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את לִֽהְי֤וֹת בְּרִיתִי֙ אֶת־לֵוִ֔י אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ Malachi Mal 2:4 Then you will know that I have sent this commandment to you, that My covenant may continue with Levi," says the Lord of hosts.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:5 ============ Mal 2:5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.(KJV) Malachi 2:5 My couenant was with him of life and peace, and I gaue him feare, and he feared mee, and was afraid before my Name.(Geneva) Malachie 2:5 Mon alliance avec lui était une alliance de vie et de paix, Ce que je lui accordai pour qu'il me craignît; Et il a eu pour moi de la crainte, Il a tremblé devant mon nom.(FR) 5 ׃2 בְּרִיתִ֣י ׀ הָיְתָ֣ה אִתּ֗וֹ הַֽחַיִּים֙ וְהַ֨שָּׁל֔וֹם וָאֶתְּנֵֽם־ל֥וֹ מוֹרָ֖א וַיִּֽירָאֵ֑נִי וּמִפְּנֵ֥י שְׁמִ֖י נִחַ֥ת הֽוּא׃ Malachi Mal 2:5 "My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him as an object of reverence; so he revered Me and stood in awe of My name.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:6 ============ Mal 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.(KJV) Malachi 2:6 The lawe of trueth was in his mouth, and there was no iniquitie founde in his lippes: hee walked with me in peace and equitie, & did turne many away from iniquitie.(Geneva) Malachie 2:6 La loi de la vérité était dans sa bouche, Et l'iniquité ne s'est point trouvée sur ses lèvres; Il a marché avec moi dans la paix et dans la droiture, Et il a détourné du mal beaucoup d'hommes.(FR) 6 ׃2 תּוֹרַ֤ת אֱמֶת֙ הָיְתָ֣ה בְּפִ֔יהוּ וְעַוְלָ֖ה לֹא־נִמְצָ֣א בִשְׂפָתָ֑יו בְּשָׁל֤וֹם וּבְמִישׁוֹר֙ הָלַ֣ךְ אִתִּ֔י וְרַבִּ֖ים הֵשִׁ֥יב מֵעָוֺֽן׃ Malachi Mal 2:6 True instruction was in his mouth and unrighteousness was not found on his lips; you have caused many to stumble by the instruction; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi," says the Lord of hosts.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:9 ============ Mal 2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law.(KJV) Malachi 2:9 Therefore haue I also made you to be despised, and vile before all the people, because yee kept not my wayes, but haue beene partiall in the Lawe.(Geneva) Malachie 2:9 Et moi, je vous rendrai méprisables et vils Aux yeux de tout le peuple, Parce que vous n'avez pas gardé mes voies, Et que vous avez égard à l'apparence des personnes Quand vous interprétez la loi.(FR) 9 ׃2 וְגַם־אֲנִ֞י נָתַ֧תִּי אֶתְכֶ֛ם נִבְזִ֥ים וּשְׁפָלִ֖ים לְכָל־הָעָ֑ם כְּפִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֵֽינְכֶם֙ שֹׁמְרִ֣ים אֶת־דְּרָכַ֔י וְנֹשְׂאִ֥ים פָּנִ֖ים בַּתּוֹרָֽה׃ פ Malachi Mal 2:9 "So I also have made you despised and abased before all the people, just as you are not keeping My ways but are showing partiality in the instruction. (nasb) ======= Malachi 2:10 ============ Mal 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?(KJV) Malachi 2:10 Haue we not all one father? hath not one God made vs? why doe we transgresse euery one against his brother, and breake the couenant of our fathers?(Geneva) Malachie 2:10 N'avons-nous pas tous un seul père? N'est-ce pas un seul Dieu qui nous a créés? Pourquoi donc sommes-nous infidèles l'un envers l'autre, En profanant l'alliance de nos pères?(FR) 10 ׃2 הֲל֨וֹא אָ֤ב אֶחָד֙ לְכֻלָּ֔נוּ הֲל֛וֹא אֵ֥ל אֶֽחָ֖ד בְּרָאָ֑נוּ מַדּ֗וּעַ נִבְגַּד֙ אִ֣ישׁ בְּאָחִ֔יו לְחַלֵּ֖ל בְּרִ֥ית אֲבֹתֵֽינוּ׃ Malachi Mal 2:10 "Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:11 ============ Mal 2:11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.(KJV) Malachi 2:11 Iudah hath transgressed, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Ierusalem: for Iudah hath defiled the holinesse of the Lorde, which hee loued, and hath maried the daughter of a strange God.(Geneva) Malachie 2:11 Juda s'est montré infidèle, Et une abomination a été commise en Israël et à Jérusalem; Car Juda a profané ce qui est consacré à l'Eternel, ce qu'aime l'Eternel, Il s'est uni à la fille d'un dieu étranger.(FR) 11 ׃2 בָּגְדָ֣ה יְהוּדָ֔ה וְתוֹעֵבָ֛ה נֶעֶשְׂתָ֥ה בְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וּבִירֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם כִּ֣י ׀ חִלֵּ֣ל יְהוּדָ֗ה קֹ֤דֶשׁ יְהוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָהֵ֔ב וּבָעַ֖ל בַּת־אֵ֥ל נֵכָֽר׃ Malachi Mal 2:11 Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the sanctuary of the Lord which He loves and has married the daughter of a foreign god.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:12 ============ Mal 2:12 The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.(KJV) Malachi 2:12 The Lord will cut off the man that doeth this: both the master and the seruaunt out of the Tabernacle of Iaacob, and him that offereth an offering vnto the Lord of hostes.(Geneva) Malachie 2:12 L'Eternel retranchera l'homme qui fait cela, celui qui veille et qui répond, Il le retranchera des tentes de Jacob, Et il retranchera celui qui présente une offrande A l'Eternel des armées.(FR) 12 ׃2 יַכְרֵ֨ת יְהוָ֜ה לָאִ֨ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר יַעֲשֶׂ֙נָּה֙ עֵ֣ר וְעֹנֶ֔ה מֵאָהֳלֵ֖י יַֽעֲקֹ֑ב וּמַגִּ֣ישׁ מִנְחָ֔ה לַֽיהוָ֖ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ פ Malachi Mal 2:12 As for the man who does this, may the Lord cut off from the tents of Jacob everyone who awakes and answers, or who presents an offering to the Lord of hosts.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:13 ============ Mal 2:13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.(KJV) Malachi 2:13 And this haue ye done againe, and couered the altar of the Lorde with teares, with weeping and with mourning: because the offering is no more regarded, neither receiued acceptably at your handes.(Geneva) Malachie 2:13 Voici encore ce que vous faites: Vous couvrez de larmes l'autel de l'Eternel, De pleurs et de gémissements, En sorte qu'il n'a plus égard aux offrandes Et qu'il ne peut rien agréer de vos mains.(FR) 13 ׃2 וְזֹאת֙ שֵׁנִ֣ית תַּֽעֲשׂ֔וּ כַּסּ֤וֹת דִּמְעָה֙ אֶת־מִזְבַּ֣ח יְהוָ֔ה בְּכִ֖י וַֽאֲנָקָ֑ה מֵאֵ֣ין ע֗וֹד פְּנוֹת֙ אֶל־הַמִּנְחָ֔ה וְלָקַ֥חַת רָצ֖וֹן מִיֶּדְכֶֽם׃ Malachi Mal 2:13 "This is another thing you do: you cover the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping and with groaning, because He no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:14 ============ Mal 2:14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.(KJV) Malachi 2:14 Yet yee say, Wherein? Because the Lorde hath beene witnesse betweene thee and the wife of thy youth, against whome thou hast transgressed: yet is shee thy companion, and the wife of thy couenant.(Geneva) Malachie 2:14 Et vous dites: Pourquoi?... And what did that one do while he was seeking a godly offspring? Take heed then to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of your youth.(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:16 ============ Mal 2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.(KJV) Malachi 2:16 If thou hatest her, put her away, sayeth the Lorde God of Israel, yet he couereth the iniurie vnder his garment, saieth the Lord of hosts: therefore keepe your selues in your spirite, and transgresse not.(Geneva) Malachie 2:16 Car je hais la répudiation, Dit l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël, Et celui qui couvre de violence son vêtement, Dit l'Eternel des armées. Prenez donc garde en votre esprit, Et ne soyez pas infidèles!(FR) 16 ׃2 כִּֽי־שָׂנֵ֣א שַׁלַּ֗ח אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְכִסָּ֤ה חָמָס֙ עַל־לְבוּשׁ֔וֹ אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת וְנִשְׁמַרְתֶּ֥ם בְּרוּחֲכֶ֖ם וְלֹ֥א תִבְגֹּֽדוּ׃ ס Malachi Mal 2:16 For I hate divorce," says the Lord, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with wrong," says the Lord of hosts. "So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously."(nasb) ======= Malachi 2:17 ============ Mal 2:17 Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?(kjv) Malachi 2:17 Yee haue wearied the Lorde with your woordes: yet yee say, Wherein haue we wearied him? When ye say, Euery one that doeth euill, is good in the sight of the Lorde, and he deliteth in them. Or where is the God of iudgement?(Geneva) Malachie 2:17 Vous fatiguez l'Eternel par vos paroles, Et vous dites: En quoi l'avons-nous fatigué? C'est en disant: Quiconque fait le mal est bon aux yeux de l'Eternel, Et c'est en lui qu'il prend plaisir! Ou bien: Où est le Dieu de la justice?(FR) 17 ׃2 הוֹגַעְתֶּ֤ם יְהוָה֙ בְּדִבְרֵיכֶ֔ם וַאֲמַרְ֖[t]תֶּם בַּמָּ֣ה הוֹגָ֑עְנוּ בֶּאֱמָרְכֶ֗ם כָּל־עֹ֨שֵׂה רָ֜ע ט֣וֹב ׀ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה וּבָהֶם֙ ה֣וּא חָפֵ֔ץ א֥וֹ אַיֵּ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י הַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ Malachi Mal 2:17 You have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet you say, "How have we wearied Him?" In that you say, "Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delights in them," or, "Where is the God of justice?" (nasb) ======= Malachi 3:1 ============ Mal 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.(KJV) Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lorde whom ye seeke, shall speedely come to his Temple: euen the messenger of the couenant whom ye desire: beholde, he shall come, sayth the Lord of hostes.(Geneva) Malachie 3:1 Voici, j'enverrai mon messager; Il préparera le chemin devant moi.
