Thy kingdom come. Your kingdom come. And lead us not into temptation.'"(nasb) ======= Luke 11:5 ============ Luk 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;(KJV) Luke 11:5 Moreouer he said vnto them, Which of you shall haue a friende, and shall goe to him at midnight, and say vnto him, Friende, lende mee three loaues?(Geneva) Luc 11:5 Il leur dit encore: Si l'un de vous a un ami, et qu'il aille le trouver au milieu de la nuit pour lui dire: Ami, prête-moi trois pains,(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם מִי־בָכֶם אֲשֶׁר לוֹ אֹהֵב וְהוּא בָא אֶל־בֵּיתוֹ בַּחֲצוֹת הַלַּיְלָה וְקֹרֵא אֵלָיו קוּמָה רֵעִי הַלְוֵנִי־נָא שָׁלֹשׁ כִּכְּרוֹת־לָחֶם׃ ה Luke Luk 11:5 Then He said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves; (nasb) ======= Luke 11:6 ============ Luk 11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?(KJV) Luke 11:6 For a friende of mine is come out of the way to me, & I haue nothing to set before him:(Geneva) Luc 11:6 car un de mes amis est arrivé de voyage chez moi, et je n'ai rien à lui offrir,(FR) כִּי־אֹהֲבֵי עֹבֵר אֹרַח בָּא אֶל־בֵּיתִי וְאֵין־לִי פַת־לֶחֶם לְתִתּוֹ לְפָנָיו׃ ו Luke Luk 11:6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him'; (nasb) ======= Luke 11:7 ============ Luk 11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.(KJV) Luke 11:7 And hee within shoulde answere, and say, Trouble mee not: the doore is nowe shut, and my children are with mee in bed: I can not rise and giue them to thee.(Geneva) Luc 11:7 et si, de l'intérieur de sa maison, cet ami lui répond: Ne m'importune pas, la porte est déjà fermée, mes enfants et moi sommes au lit, je ne puis me lever pour te donner des pains, -(FR) וְהַשֹּׁכֵן בַּבַּיִת עֹנֶה וְאֹמֵר אַל־תַּלְאֶה אֹתִי כִּי הַדֶּלֶת כְּבָר סֻגְּרָה וִילָדַי עִמִּי בְמִטָּתִי לֹא־אוּכַל לָקוּם לָתֶת לָךְ׃ ז Luke Luk 11:7 and from inside he answers and says, 'Do not bother me; the door has already been shut and my children and I are in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.'(nasb) ======= Luke 11:8 ============ Luk 11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.(KJV) Luke 11:8 I say vnto you, Though he would not arise and giue him, because he is his friende, yet doubtlesse because of his importunitie, hee woulde rise, and giue him as many as he needed.(Geneva) Luc 11:8 je vous le dis, même s'il ne se levait pas pour les lui donner parce que c'est son ami, il se lèverait à cause de son importunité et lui donnerait tout ce dont il a besoin.(FR) הֵן אֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם כִּי הוּא יָקוּם וְיִתֶּן־לוֹ כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר יֶחְסָר לֹא בַעֲבוּר כִּי אֹהֲבוֹ הוּא כִּי אִם־מֵאֲשֶׁר יִפְצַר־בּוֹ וְלֹא יַחֲשֹׁךְ׃ ח Luke Luk 11:8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs. Ou, s'il demande un poisson, lui donnera-t-il un serpent au lieu d'un poisson?(FR) וּמִי אָב בָּכֶם אֲשֶׁר בְּנוֹ שָׁאַל מִמֶּנּוּ לֶחֶם וְהוּא יִתֶּן־לוֹ אָבֶן אִם־בִּקֵּשׁ דָּג וְתַחַת דָּג יִתֶּן־לוֹ נָחָשׁ׃ יא Luke Luk 11:11 Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he? (nasb) ======= Luke 11:12 ============ Luk 11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?(KJV) Luke 11:12 Or if hee aske an egge, will hee giue him a scorpion?(Geneva) Luc 11:12 Ou, s'il demande un oeuf, lui donnera-t-il un scorpion?(FR) אוֹ בֵיצָה כִּי־יִשְׁאַל וְהוּא יִתֶּן־לוֹ עַקְרָב׃ יב Luke Luk 11:12 Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he? (nasb) ======= Luke 11:13 ============ Luk 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?(KJV) Luke 11:13 If yee then which are euill, can giue good giftes vnto your children, howe much more shall your heauenly Father giue the holy Ghost to them, that desire him?(Geneva) Luc 11:13 Si donc, méchants comme vous l'êtes, vous savez donner de bonnes choses à vos enfants, à combien plus forte raison le Père céleste donnera-t-il le Saint-Esprit à ceux qui le lui demandent.(FR) וְאַתֶּם כִּי רָעִים הִנְּכֶם אַתֶּם יֹדְעִים לָתֵת מַתָּנוֹת טֹבוֹת לִבְנֵיכֶם אַף־כִּי הָאָב מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם יִתֵּן רוּחַ קָדְשׁוֹ לְדֹרְשָׁיו׃ יג Luke Luk 11:13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?" And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.(KJV) Luke 11:14 Then hee cast out a deuill which was domme: and when the deuill was gone out, the domme spake, and the people wondered.(Geneva) Luc 11:14 Jésus chassa un démon qui était muet. (nasb) ======= Luke 11:18 ============ Luk 11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.(KJV) Luke 11:18 So if Satan also bee deuided against himselfe, howe shall his kingdome stande, because yee say that I cast out deuils through Beelzebub?(Geneva) Luc 11:18 Si donc Satan est divisé contre lui-même, comment son royaume subsistera-t-il, puisque vous dites que je chasse les démons par Béelzébul?(FR) וְאִם גַּם־הַשָּׂטָן נִפְלַג עַל־נַפְשׁוֹ אֵיךְ תָּקוּם מַלְכוּתוֹ כִּי אֲמַרְתֶּם בְּבַעַל־זְבוּב אֲנִי מְגָרֵשׁ אֶת־הַשֵּׁדִים׃ יח Luke Luk 11:18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? N'en trouvant point, il dit: Je retournerai dans ma maison d'où je suis sorti;(FR) וְרוּחַ הַטֻּמְאָה בְּצֵאתָהּ מִן־הָאָדָם תְּשׁוֹטֵט בְּאֶרֶץ תַּלְאוּבֹת תְּבַקֵּשׁ וְלֹא־תִמְצָא מַרְגֵּעָה אָז תֹּאמַר אָשׁוּבָה אֶל־מִשְׁכָּנִי אֲשֶׁר יָצָאתִי מִשָּׁם׃ כד Luke Luk 11:24 "When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.'(nasb) ======= Luke 11:25 ============ Luk 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.(KJV) Luke 11:25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.(Geneva) Luc 11:25 et, quand il arrive, il la trouve balayée et ornée.(FR) וּבְשׁוּבָהּ תִּמְצָאֶנּוּ מְנֻקֶּה וּמְפֹאָר׃ כה Luke Luk 11:25 And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order.
