(nasb) ======= Luke 15:2 ============ Luk 15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.(KJV) Luke 15:2 Therefore the Pharises and Scribes murmured, saying, Hee receiueth sinners, and eateth with them.(Geneva) Luc 15:2 Et les pharisiens et les scribes murmuraient, disant: Cet homme accueille des gens de mauvaise vie, et mange avec eux.(FR) וַיִּלֹּנוּ הַפְּרוּשִׁים וְהַסּוֹפְרִים לֵאמֹר הָאִישׁ הַלָּזֶה פְּנֵי חַטָּאִים הוּא נֹשֵׂא וְאֹכֵל עִמָּהֶם׃ ב Luke Luk 15:2 Both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."(nasb) ======= Luke 15:3 ============ Luk 15:3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,(KJV) Luke 15:3 Then spake hee this parable to them, saying,(Geneva) Luc 15:3 Mais il leur dit cette parabole:(FR) וַיִּשָּׂא אֲלֵיהֶם אֶת־הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה לֵאמֹר׃ ג Luke Luk 15:3 So He told them this parable, saying, (nasb) ======= Luke 15:4 ============ Luk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?(KJV) Luke 15:4 What man of you hauing an hundreth sheepe, if hee lose one of them, doeth not leaue ninetie and nine in the wildernesse, and goe after that which is lost, vntill he finde it?(Geneva) Luc 15:4 Quel homme d'entre vous, s'il a cent brebis, et qu'il en perde une, ne laisse les quatre-vingt-dix-neuf autres dans le désert pour aller après celle qui est perdue, jusqu'à ce qu'il la retrouve?(FR) מִי אִישׁ מִכֶּם אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ מֵאָה צֹאן וְאָבְדָה לּוֹ כִּבְשָׂה אַחַת מֵהֶן וְהוּא לֹא יַעֲזֹב אֶת־הַתִּשְׁעִים וָתֵשַׁע בַּמִּדְבָּר לָלֶכֶת וּלְבַקֵּשׁ עַד כִּי־יִמְצָא אֶת־הָאֹבָדֶת׃ ד Luke Luk 15:4 "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? (nasb) ======= Luke 15:5 ============ Luk 15:5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.(KJV) Luke 15:5 And when he hath found it, he laieth it on his shoulders with ioye.(Geneva) Luc 15:5 Lorsqu'il l'a retrouvée, il la met avec joie sur ses épaules,(FR) וְהָיָה כִּי יִמְצָאֶנָּה יָשִׂישׂ עָלֶיהָ יִשָּׂאֶנָּה בַכָּתֵף׃ ה Luke Luk 15:5 When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:6 ============ Luk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.(KJV) Luke 15:6 And when he commeth home, he calleth together his friendes and neighbours, saying vnto them, Reioyce with mee: for I haue founde my sheepe which was lost.(Geneva) Luc 15:6 et, de retour à la maison, il appelle ses amis et ses voisins, et leur dit: Réjouissez-vous avec moi, car j'ai retrouvé ma brebis qui était perdue.(FR) וְאֶל־בֵּיתוֹ יָבֹא וְיִקְרָא לְאֹהֲבָיו וְלִשְׁכֵנָיו לֵאמֹר שִׂישׂוּ אִתִּי כִּי מָצָאתִי אֶת־אֲבֵדָתִי אֶת־הַכִּבְשָׂה הַזֹּאת׃ ו Luke Luk 15:6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'(nasb) ======= Luke 15:7 ============ Luk 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.(KJV) Luke 15:7 I say vnto you, that likewise ioy shall be in heauen for one sinner that conuerteth, more then for ninetie and nine iust men, which neede none amendement of life.(Geneva) Luc 15:7 De même, je vous le dis, il y aura plus de joie dans le ciel pour un seul pécheur qui se repent, que pour quatre-vingt-dix-neuf justes qui n'ont pas besoin de repentance.(FR) וַאֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם כָּכָה תִּרֶב הַשִּׂמְחָה בַּשָּׁמַיִם עַל־חֹטֶא אֶחָד הַשָּׁב מֵחֲטָאָיו מֵעַל־תִּשְׁעִים וְתִשְׁעָה אַנְשֵׁי צֶדֶק אֲשֶׁר אֵין לָהֶם דָּבָר לְהִנָּחֵם עָלָיו׃ ז Luke Luk 15:7 I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:8 ============ Luk 15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?(KJV) Luke 15:8 Either what woma hauing ten groates, if she lose one groate, doth not light a candle, & sweepe the house, and seeke diligently till shee finde it?(Geneva) Luc 15:8 Ou quelle femme, si elle a dix drachmes, et qu'elle en perde une, n'allume une lampe, ne balaie la maison, et ne cherche avec soin, jusqu'à ce qu'elle la retrouve?(FR) אוֹ מִי הָאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר־לָהּ עֲשָׂרָה כֶסֶף וְאֶחָד מֵהֶם נָפַל וְנִסְתָּר מֵעֵינֶיהָ וְהִיא לֹא תַדְלִיק נֵר וּתְפַנֶּה אֶת־הַבַּיִת וּתְחַפֵּשׂ בְּחֵפֶשׂ מְחֻפָּשׂ עַד כִּי־תִמְצָאֶנּוּ׃ ח Luke Luk 15:8 "Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? (nasb) ======= Luke 15:12 ============ Luk 15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.(KJV) Luke 15:12 And the yonger of them sayde to his father, Father, giue mee the portion of the goods that falleth to mee. So he deuided vnto them his substance.(Geneva) Luc 15:12 Le plus jeune dit à son père: Mon père, donne-moi la part de bien qui doit me revenir. Et le père leur partagea son bien.(FR) וְהַקָּטֹן מֵהֶם אָמַר אֶל־אָבִיו תְּנָה־לִּי אָבִי חֵלֶק הַנַחֲלָה אֲשֶׁר יִפֹּל לְחֶבְלִי וַיְחַלֵּק לָהֶם אֶת־נְכָסָיו׃ יב Luke Luk 15:12 The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me.' So he divided his wealth between them. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:13 ============ Luk 15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.(KJV) Luke 15:13 So not many daies after, when the yonger sonne had gathered all together, hee tooke his iourney into a farre countrey, and there hee wasted his goods with riotous liuing.(Geneva) Luc 15:13 Peu de jours après, le plus jeune fils, ayant tout ramassé, partit pour un pays éloigné, où il dissipa son bien en vivant dans la débauche.(FR) וְאַחֲרֵי יָמִים אֲחָדִים אָסַף הַבֵּן הַקָּטֹן אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר לוֹ וַיִּסַּע אֶל־אֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה וַיְהִי שָׁם לְזוֹלֵל עַד אֲשֶׁר פִּזַּר כָּל־כַּסְפּוֹ׃ יג Luke Luk 15:13 And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:14 ============ Luk 15:14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.(KJV) Luke 15:14 Nowe when hee had spent all, there arose a great dearth throughout that land, and he began to be in necessitie.(Geneva) Luc 15:14 Lorsqu'il eut tout dépensé, une grande famine survint dans ce pays, et il commença à se trouver dans le besoin.(FR) וְאַחֲרֵי אֲשֶׁר בִּלַּע כָּל־אֲשֶׁר הָיָה לוֹ בָּא רָעָב גָּדוֹל בָּאָרֶץ הַהִיא וְהוּא הֵחֵל לִהְיוֹת חֲסַר־לָחֶם׃ יד Luke Luk 15:14 Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:15 ============ Luk 15:15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.(KJV) Luke 15:15 Then hee went and claue to a citizen of that conntrey, and hee sent him to his farme, to feede swine.(Geneva) Luc 15:15 Il alla se mettre au service d'un des habitants du pays, qui l'envoya dans ses champs garder les pourceaux.(FR) וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיִּסְתַּפַּח בְּאֶחָד מִיּשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ הַהִיא וַיִּשְׁלָחֵהוּ הַשָּׂדֶה לִרְעוֹת חֲזִירִים׃ טו Luke Luk 15:15 So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:16 ============ Luk 15:16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.(KJV) Luke 15:16 And hee would faine haue filled his bellie with the huskes, that the swine ate: but no man gaue them him.(Geneva) Luc 15:16 Il aurait bien voulu se rassasier des carouges que mangeaient les pourceaux, mais personne ne lui en donnait.(FR) וַיִּתְאַו לְמַלֵּא אֶת־כְּרֵשׂוֹ חֲרוּבִין מֵאֲשֶׁר יֹאכְלוּן הַחֲזִירִים וּפֹרֵשׂ אֵין לוֹ׃ טז Luke Luk 15:16 And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving anything to him. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:17 ============ Luk 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!(KJV) Luke 15:17 Then he came to him selfe, & said, Howe many hired seruaunts at my fathers haue bread ynough, and I die for hunger?(Geneva) Luc 15:17 Etant rentré en lui-même, il se dit: Combien de mercenaires chez mon père ont du pain en abondance, et moi, ici, je meurs de faim!(FR) וַיָּשֶׁב אֶל־לִבּוֹ וַיֹּאמַר מָה־רַבּוּ הַשְּׂכִירִים תַּחַת יַד אָבִי אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם לֶחֶם דַּי וְהוֹתֵר וְאָנֹכִי מֵת פֹּה בָּרָעָב׃ יז Luke Luk 15:17 But when he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger! (nasb) ======= Luke 15:18 ============ Luk 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,(KJV) Luke 15:18 I wil rise and goe to my father, and say vnto him, Father, I haue sinned against heaue, and before thee,(Geneva) Luc 15:18 Je me lèverai, j'irai vers mon père, et je lui dirai: Mon père, j'ai péché contre le ciel et contre toi,(FR) אָקוּם אֵלֵךְ אֶל־אָבִי וְאֹמַר אֵלָיו אָבִי חָטָאתִי גַּם־לַשָּׁמַיִם גַּם־לְפָנֶיךָ׃ יח Luke Luk 15:18 I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight; (nasb) ======= Luke 15:19 ============ Luk 15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.(KJV) Luke 15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy sonne: make me as one of thy hired seruants.(Geneva) Luc 15:19 je ne suis plus digne d'être appelé ton fils; traite-moi comme l'un de tes mercenaires.(FR) קַלֹּתִי מֵהִקָּרֵא בִנְךָ עוֹד שִׂימֵנִי־נָא כְּאַחַד הַשְׂכִירִים בְּבֵיתֶךָ׃ יט Luke Luk 15:19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men."'(nasb) ======= Luke 15:20 ============ Luk 15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.(KJV) Luke 15:20 So hee arose and came to his father, and when hee was yet a great way off, his father sawe him, and had compassion, and ranne and fell on his necke, and kissed him.(Geneva) Luc 15:20 Et il se leva, et alla vers son père. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. Mangeons et réjouissons-nous;(FR) וְאֶת־עֵגֶל הַמַּרְבֵּק קְחוּ וּטְבָחוּ וְנֹאכַל וְנַעֲלֹזָה׃ כג Luke Luk 15:23 and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; (nasb) ======= Luke 15:24 ============ Luk 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to celebrate. (nasb) ======= Luke 15:25 ============ Luk 15:25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.(KJV) Luke 15:25 Nowe the elder brother was in the fielde, and when he came and drewe neere to the house, he heard melodie, and dauncing,(Geneva) Luc 15:25 Or, le fils aîné était dans les champs. Lorsqu'il revint et approcha de la maison, il entendit la musique et les danses.(FR) וּבְנוֹ הַגָּדוֹל בָּא מִמְּלַאכְתּוֹ בַשָׂדֶה וַיִּקְרַב אֶל־הַבַּיִת וַיִּשְׁמַע קוֹל שִׁיר וּמָחוֹל׃ כה Luke Luk 15:25 "Now his older son was in the field, and when he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
