"A man planted a vineyard and rented it out to vine-growers, and went on a journey for a long time. (nasb) ======= Luke 20:10 ============ Luk 20:10 And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty.(KJV) Luke 20:10 And at the time conuenient he sent a seruant to the husbandmen, that they should giue him of the fruite of the vineyard: but the husbandmen did beate him, & sent him away emptie.(Geneva) Luc 20:10 Au temps de la récolte, il envoya un serviteur vers les vignerons, pour qu'ils lui donnent une part du produit de la vigne. Les vignerons le battirent, et le renvoyèrent à vide.(FR) וּלְעֵת הַבָּצִיר שָׁלַח אֶת־עַבְדּוֹ אֶל־הַנֹּטְרִים אֲשֶׁר יָבִיא לוֹ מִפְּרִי כַרְמוֹ וְהַנֹּטְרִים הִכֻּהוּ וַיְשַׁלְחֻהוּ רֵיקָם׃ י Luke Luk 20:10 At the harvest time he sent a slave to the vine-growers, so that they would give him some of the produce of the vineyard; but the vine-growers beat him and sent him away empty-handed. (nasb) ======= Luke 20:13 ============ Luk 20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.(KJV) Luke 20:13 Then sayd the Lord of the vineyard, What shall I doe? J'enverrai mon fils bien-aimé; peut-être auront-ils pour lui du respect.(FR) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲדוֹן הַכֶּרֶם מָה־אֶעֱשֶׂה אֶשְׁלַח אֶת־בְּנִי אֶת־יְדִידִי אוּלַי יִירְאוּ מִפָּנָיו׃ יג Luke Luk 20:13 The owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.'(nasb) ======= Luke 20:14 ============ Luk 20:14 But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.(KJV) Luke 20:14 But when the husbandmen sawe him, they reasoned with themselues, saying, This is the heire: come, let vs kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.(Geneva) Luc 20:14 Mais, quand les vignerons le virent, ils raisonnèrent entre eux, et dirent: Voici l'héritier; tuons-le, afin que l'héritage soit à nous.(FR) כִּרְאוֹת אֹתוֹ הַנֹּטְרִים נוֹסְדוּ יַחַד לֵאמֹר הִנֵּה הַיּוֹרֵשׁ בָּא לְכוּ וְנַהַרְגֵהוּ וְלָנוּ תִסֹּב הַנַּחֲלָה׃ יד Luke Luk 20:14 But when the vine-growers saw him, they reasoned with one another, saying, 'This is the heir; let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.'(nasb) ======= Luke 20:15 ============ Luk 20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?(KJV) Luke 20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyarde, and killed him. What shall the Lord of the vineyarde therefore doe vnto them?(Geneva) Luc 20:15 Et ils le jetèrent hors de la vigne, et le tuèrent. Maintenant, que leur fera le maître de la vigne?(FR) וַיֶּהְדְפוּ אֹתוֹ אֶל־מִחוּץ לַכֶּרֶם וַיַּהַרְגֻהוּ וּמָה אֵפוֹא יַעֲשֶׂה לָהֶם אֲדוֹן הַכָּרֶם׃ טו Luke Luk 20:15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What, then, will the owner of the vineyard do to them? (nasb) ======= Luke 20:16 ============ Luk 20:16 He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid.(KJV) Luke 20:16 He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and wil giue out his vineyard to others. But when they heard it, they sayd, God forbid.(Geneva) Luc 20:16 Il viendra, fera périr ces vignerons, et il donnera la vigne à d'autres. Lorsqu'ils eurent entendu cela, ils dirent: A Dieu ne plaise!(FR) הוּא יָבֹא וְהֶאֱבִיד אֶת־הַנֹּטְרִים הָהֵם וְאֶת־כַּרְמוֹ יִתֵּן בִּידֵי אֲחֵרִים וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ וַיֹּאמְרוּ חָלִילָה לֹא תִהְיֶה כָּזֹאת׃ טז Luke Luk 20:16 He will come and destroy these vine-growers and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be!"(nasb) ======= Luke 20:17 ============ Luk 20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?(KJV) Luke 20:17 And he beheld them, & said, What meaneth this then that is written, The stone that the builders refused, that is made the head of the corner?(Geneva) Luc 20:17 Mais, jetant les regards sur eux, Jésus dit: Que signifie donc ce qui est écrit: La pierre qu'ont rejetée ceux qui bâtissaient Est devenue la principale de l'angle?(FR) וַיִּתֵּן עֵינָיו בָּם וַיֹּאמַר וּמַה דְּבַר הַכָּתוּב אֶבֶן מָאֲסוּ הַבּוֹנִים הָיְתָה לְרֹאשׁ פִּנָּה׃ יז Luke Luk 20:17 But Jesus looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone'? (nasb) ======= Luke 20:18 ============ Luk 20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.(KJV) Luke 20:18 Whosoeuer shall fall vpon that stone, shall be broken: and on whomsoeuer it shall fall, it will grinde him to pouder.(Geneva) Luc 20:18 Quiconque tombera sur cette pierre s'y brisera, et celui sur qui elle tombera sera écrasé.(FR) כָּל־הַנֹּפֵל עַל־הָאֶבֶן הַזֹּאת יִתְפּוֹרָר וְכָל־מִי אֲשֶׁר תִּפֹּל עָלָיו תְּדַכְּאֶנּוּ לֶעָפָר׃ יח Luke Luk 20:18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust." (nasb) ======= Luke 20:19 ============ Luk 20:19 And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.(KJV) Luke 20:19 Then the hie Priests, and the Scribes the same houre went about to lay hands on him: (but they feared the people) for they perceiued that he had spoken this parable against them.(Geneva) Luc 20:19 Les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes cherchèrent à mettre la main sur lui à l'heure même, mais ils craignirent le peuple. Ils avaient compris que c'était pour eux que Jésus avait dit cette parabole.(FR) וַיְבַקְשׁוּ הַסּוֹפְרִים וְרָאשֵׁי הַכֹּהֲנִים לִשְׁלֹחַ בּוֹ יַד בָּעֵת הַהִיא כִּי רָאוּ אֲשֶׁר עֲלֵיהֶם הוּא נֹשֵׂא אֶת־הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה אֶפֶס כִּי יָרְאוּ מִפְּנֵי הָעָם׃ יט Luke Luk 20:19 The scribes and the chief priests tried to lay hands on Him that very hour, and they feared the people; for they understood that He spoke this parable against them. (nasb) ======= Luke 20:21 ============ Luk 20:21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly:(KJV) Luke 20:21 And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest, and teachest right, neither doest thou accept mans person, but teachest the way of God truly.(Geneva) Luc 20:21 Ces gens lui posèrent cette question: Maître, nous savons que tu parles et enseignes droitement, et que tu ne regardes pas à l'apparence, mais que tu enseignes la voie de Dieu selon la vérité.(FR) וַיִּשְׁאֲלוּ אֹתוֹ לֵאמֹר רַבֵּנוּ יָדַעְנוּ כִּי נָכוֹן תֶּהְגֶּה וּתְלַמֵּד לֹא־תִשָׂא פְנֵי־אִישׁ וְאֶת־דֶּרֶךְ הָאֱלֹהִים תּוֹרֶה בְּמֵישָׁרִים׃ כא Luke Luk 20:21 They questioned Him, saying, "Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.(KJV) Luke 20:24 Shew me a penie. Whose image and superscription hath it? Whose likeness and inscription does it have?"
