(Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:1 ولما سمع جميع الملوك الذين في عبر الاردن في الجبل وفي السهل وفي كل ساحل البحر الكبير الى جهة لبنان الحثّيون والاموريون والكنعانيون والفرزّيون والحوّيون واليبوسيون -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:1 Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country and in the lowland and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, heard of it,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:2---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:2 اجتمعوا معا لمحاربة يشوع واسرائيل بصوت واحد -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:2 that they gathered themselves together with one accord to fight with Joshua and with Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:3---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:3 واما سكان جبعون لما سمعوا بما عمله يشوع باريحا وعاي -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:3 When the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and to Ai,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:4---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:4 فهم عملوا بغدر ومضوا وداروا وأخذوا جوالق بالية لحميرهم وزقاق خمر بالية مشققة ومربوطة -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:4 they also acted craftily and set out as envoys, and took worn-out sacks on their donkeys, and wineskins worn-out and torn and mended,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:5---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:5 ونعالا بالية ومرقّعة في ارجلهم وثيابا رثّة عليهم وكل خبز زادهم يابس قد صار فتاتا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:5 and worn-out and patched sandals on their feet, and worn-out clothes on themselves; and all the bread of their provision was dry and had become crumbled.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:6---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:6 وساروا الى يشوع الى المحلّة في الجلجال وقالوا له ولرجال اسرائيل من ارض بعيدة جئنا والآن اقطعوا لنا عهدا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:6 They went to Joshua to the camp at Gilgal and said to him and to the men of Israel, "We have come from a far country; now therefore, make a covenant with us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:7---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:7 فقال رجال اسرائيل للحوّيين لعلك ساكن في وسطي فكيف اقطع لك عهدا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:7 The men of Israel said to the Hivites, "Perhaps you are living within our land; how then shall we make a covenant with you?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:8---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:8 فقالوا ليشوع عبيدك نحن. فقال لهم يشوع من انتم ومن اين جئتم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:8 But they said to Joshua, "We are your servants." Then Joshua said to them, "Who are you and where do you come from?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:9---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:9 فقالوا له من ارض بعيدة جدا جاء عبيدك على اسم الرب الهك. لاننا سمعنا خبره وكل ما عمل بمصر -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:9 They said to him, "Your servants have come from a very far country because of the fame of the Lord your God; for we have heard the report of Him and all that He did in Egypt,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:10---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:10 وكل ما عمل بملكي الاموريين اللذين في عبر الاردن سيحون ملك حشبون وعوج ملك باشان الذي في عشتاروث. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:10 and all that He did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon and to Og king of Bashan who was at Ashtaroth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:11---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:11 فكلمنا شيوخنا وجميع سكان ارضنا قائلين خذوا بايديكم زادا للطريق واذهبوا للقائهم وقولوا لهم عبيدكم نحن. والآن اقطعوا لنا عهدا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:11 So our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spoke to us, saying, 'Take provisions in your hand for the journey, and go to meet them and say to them, "We are your servants; now then, make a covenant with us."'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:12---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:12 هذا خبزنا سخنا تزودناه من بيوتنا يوم خروجنا لكي نسير اليكم وها هو الآن يابس قد صار فتاتا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:12 This our bread was warm when we took it for our provisions out of our houses on the day that we left to come to you; but now behold, it is dry and has become crumbled.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:13---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:13 وهذه زقاق الخمر التي ملأناها جديدة هوذا قد تشقّقت وهذه ثيابنا ونعالنا قد بليت من طول الطريق جدا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:13 These wineskins which we filled were new, and behold, they are torn; and these our clothes and our sandals are worn out because of the very long journey."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:14---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:14 فاخذ الرجال من زادهم ومن فم الرب لم يسألوا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:14 So the men of Israel took some of their provisions, and did not ask for the counsel of the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:15---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:15 فعمل يشوع لهم صلحا وقطع لهم عهدا لاستحيائهم وحلف لهم رؤساء الجماعة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:15 Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live; and the leaders of the congregation swore an oath to them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:16---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:16 وفي نهاية ثلاثة ايام بعدما قطعوا لهم عهدا سمعوا انهم قريبون اليهم وانهم ساكنون في وسطهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:16 It came about at the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, that they heard that they were neighbors and that they were living within their land.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:17---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:17 فارتحل بنو اسرائيل وجاءوا الى مدنهم في اليوم الثالث. ومدنهم هي جبعون والكفيرة وبئيروت وقرية يعاريم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:17 Then the sons of Israel set out and came to their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon and Chephirah and Beeroth and Kiriath-jearim.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:18---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:18 ولم يضربهم بنو اسرائيل لان رؤساء الجماعة حلفوا لهم بالرب اله اسرائيل. فتذمر كل الجماعة على الرؤساء. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:18 The sons of Israel did not strike them because the leaders of the congregation had sworn to them by the Lord the God of Israel. And the whole congregation grumbled against the leaders.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:19---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:19 فقال جميع الرؤساء لكل الجماعة اننا قد حلفنا لهم بالرب اله اسرائيل. والآن لا نتمكن من مسّهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:19 But all the leaders said to the whole congregation, "We have sworn to them by the Lord, the God of Israel, and now we cannot touch them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:20---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:20 هذا نصنعه لهم ونستحييهم فلا يكون علينا سخط من اجل الحلف الذي حلفنا لهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:20 This we will do to them, even let them live, so that wrath will not be upon us for the oath which we swore to them."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:21---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:21 وقال لهم الرؤساء يحيون ويكونون محتطبي حطب ومستقي ماء لكل الجماعة كما كلمهم الرؤساء. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:21 The leaders said to them, "Let them live." So they became hewers of wood and drawers of water for the whole congregation, just as the leaders had spoken to them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:22---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:22 فدعاهم يشوع وكلمهم قائلا لماذا خدعتمونا قائلين نحن بعيدون عنكم جدا وانتم ساكنون في وسطنا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:22 Then Joshua called for them and spoke to them, saying, "Why have you deceived us, saying, 'We are very far from you,' when you are living within our land?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:23---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:23 فالآن ملعونون انتم. فلا ينقطع منكم العبيد ومحتطبو الحطب ومستقو الماء لبيت الهي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:23 Now therefore, you are cursed, and you shall never cease being slaves, both hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:24---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:24 فاجابوا يشوع وقالوا أخبر عبيدك إخبارا بما امر به الرب الهك موسى عبده ان يعطيكم كل الارض ويبيد جميع سكان الارض من امامكم فخفنا جدا على انفسنا من قبلكم ففعلنا هذا الامر. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:24 So they answered Joshua and said, "Because it was certainly told your servants that the Lord your God had commanded His servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land before you; therefore we feared greatly for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:25---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:25 والآن فهوذا نحن بيدك فافعل بنا ما هو صالح وحق في عينيك ان تعمل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:25 Now behold, we are in your hands; do as it seems good and right in your sight to do to us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:26---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:26 ففعل بهم هكذا وانقذهم من يد بني اسرائيل فلم يقتلوهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:26 Thus he did to them, and delivered them from the hands of the sons of Israel, and they did not kill them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:27---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 9:27 وجعلهم يشوع في ذلك اليوم محتطبي حطب ومستقي ماء للجماعة ولمذبح الرب الى هذا اليوم في المكان الذي يختاره -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:27 But Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and drawers of water for the congregation and for the altar of the Lord, to this day, in the place which He would choose.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:1 ---- written 1400-1370 B.C.---- |
