(Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:1 فلما سمع ادوني صادق ملك اورشليم ان يشوع قد اخذ عاي وحرّمها كما فعل باريحا وملكها فعل بعاي وملكها وان سكان جبعون قد صالحوا اسرائيل وكانوا في وسطهم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:1 Now it came about when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had captured Ai, and had utterly destroyed it (just as he had done to Jericho and its king, so he had done to Ai and its king), and that the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel and were within their land,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:2---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:2 خاف جدا لان جبعون مدينة عظيمة كاحدى المدن الملكية وهي اعظم من عاي وكل رجالها جبابرة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:2 that he feared greatly, because Gibeon was a great city, like one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:3---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:3 فارسل ادوني صادق ملك اورشليم الى هوهام ملك حبرون وفرآم ملك يرموت ويافيع ملك لخيش ودبير ملك عجلون يقول -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:3 Therefore Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem sent word to Hoham king of Hebron and to Piram king of Jarmuth and to Japhia king of Lachish and to Debir king of Eglon, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:4---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:4 اصعدوا اليّ واعينوني فنضرب جبعون لانها صالحت يشوع وبني اسرائيل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:4 "Come up to me and help me, and let us attack Gibeon, for it has made peace with Joshua and with the sons of Israel."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:5---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:5 فاجتمع ملوك الاموريين الخمسة ملك اورشليم وملك حبرون وملك يرموت وملك لخيش وملك عجلون وصعدوا هم وكل جيوشهم ونزلوا على جبعون وحاربوها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:5 So the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered together and went up, they with all their armies, and camped by Gibeon and fought against it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:6---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:6 فارسل اهل جبعون الى يشوع الى المحلّة في الجلجال يقولون لا ترخ يديك عن عبيدك. اصعد الينا عاجلا وخلصنا واعنّا لانه قد اجتمع علينا جميع ملوك الاموريين الساكنين في الجبل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:6 Then the men of Gibeon sent word to Joshua to the camp at Gilgal, saying, "Do not abandon your servants; come up to us quickly and save us and help us, for all the kings of the Amorites that live in the hill country have assembled against us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:7---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:7 فصعد يشوع من الجلجال هو وجميع رجال الحرب معه وكل جبابرة البأس -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:7 So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he and all the people of war with him and all the valiant warriors.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:8---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:8 فقال الرب ليشوع لا تخفهم لاني بيدك قد اسلمتهم. لا يقف رجل منهم بوجهك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:8 The Lord said to Joshua, "Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands; not one of them shall stand before you."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:9---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:9 فأتى اليهم يشوع بغتة. صعد الليل كله من الجلجال. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:9 So Joshua came upon them suddenly by marching all night from Gilgal.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:10---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:10 فازعجهم الرب امام اسرائيل وضربهم ضربة عظيمة في جبعون وطردهم في طريق عقبة بيت حورون وضربهم الى عزيقة والى مقيدة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:10 And the Lord confounded them before Israel, and He slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon, and pursued them by the way of the ascent of Beth-horon and struck them as far as Azekah and Makkedah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:11---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:11 وبينما هم هاربون من امام اسرائيل وهم في منحدر بيت حورون رماهم الرب بحجارة عظيمة من السماء الى عزيقة فماتوا. والذين ماتوا بحجارة البرد هم اكثر من الذين قتلهم بنو اسرائيل بالسيف -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:11 As they fled from before Israel, while they were at the descent of Beth-horon, the Lord threw large stones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died; there were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the sons of Israel killed with the sword.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:12---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:12 حينئذ كلم يشوع الرب يوم اسلم الرب الاموريين امام بني اسرائيل وقال امام عيون اسرائيل يا شمس دومي على جبعون ويا قمر على وادي ايلون. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:13---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:13 فدامت الشمس ووقف القمر حتى انتقم الشعب من اعدائه. أليس هذا مكتوبا في سفر ياشر. فوقفت الشمس في كبد السماء ولم تعجل للغروب نحو يوم كامل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:14---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:14 ولم يكن مثل ذلك اليوم قبله ولا بعده سمع فيه الرب صوت انسان. لان الرب حارب عن اسرائيل -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:14 There was no day like that before it or after it, when the Lord listened to the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:15---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:15 ثم رجع يشوع وجميع اسرائيل معه الى المحلّة في الجلجال. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:15 Then Joshua and all Israel with him returned to the camp to Gilgal.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:16---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:16 فهرب اولئك الخمسة الملوك واختبأوا في مغارة في مقيدة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:16 Now these five kings had fled and hidden themselves in the cave at Makkedah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:17---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:17 فأخبر يشوع وقيل له قد وجد الملوك الخمسة مختبئين في مغارة في مقيدة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:17 It was told Joshua, saying, "The five kings have been found hidden in the cave at Makkedah."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:18---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:18 فقال يشوع دحرجوا حجارة عظيمة على فم المغارة واقيموا عليها رجالا لاجل حفظهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:18 Joshua said, "Roll large stones against the mouth of the cave, and assign men by it to guard them,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:19---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:19 واما انتم فلا تقفوا بل اسعوا وراء اعدائكم واضربوا مؤخرهم. لا تدعوهم يدخلون مدنهم لان الرب الهكم قد اسلمهم بيدكم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:19 but do not stay there yourselves; pursue your enemies and attack them in the rear. Do not allow them to enter their cities, for the Lord your God has delivered them into your hand."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:20---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:20 ولما انتهى يشوع وبنو اسرائيل من ضربهم ضربة عظيمة جدا حتى فنوا والشرد الذين شردوا منهم دخلوا المدن المحصّنة -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:20 It came about when Joshua and the sons of Israel had finished slaying them with a very great slaughter, until they were destroyed, and the survivors who remained of them had entered the fortified cities,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:21---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:21 رجع جميع الشعب الى المحلّة الى يشوع في مقيدة بسلام. لم يسن احد لسانه على بني اسرائيل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:21 that all the people returned to the camp to Joshua at Makkedah in peace. No one uttered a word against any of the sons of Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:22---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:22 فقال يشوع افتحوا فم المغارة واخرجوا اليّ هؤلاء الخمسة الملوك من المغارة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:22 Then Joshua said, "Open the mouth of the cave and bring these five kings out to me from the cave."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:23---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:23 ففعلوا كذلك واخرجوا اليه اولئك الملوك الخمسة من المغارة ملك اورشليم وملك حبرون وملك يرموت وملك لخيش وملك عجلون. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:23 They did so, and brought these five kings out to him from the cave: the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:24---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:24 وكان لما اخرجوا اولئك الملوك الى يشوع ان يشوع دعا كل رجال اسرائيل وقال لقواد رجال الحرب الذين ساروا معه تقدموا وضعوا ارجلكم على اعناق هؤلاء الملوك. فتقدموا ووضعوا ارجلهم على اعناقهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:24 When they brought these kings out to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who had gone with him, "Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings." So they came near and put their feet on their necks.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:25---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:25 فقال لهم يشوع لا تخافوا ولا ترتعبوا. تشددوا وتشجعوا. لانه هكذا يفعل الرب بجميع اعدائكم الذين تحاربونهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:25 Joshua then said to them, "Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies with whom you fight."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:26---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:26 وضربهم يشوع بعد ذلك وقتلهم وعلقهم على خمس خشب وبقوا معلقين على الخشب حتى المساء. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:26 So afterward Joshua struck them and put them to death, and he hanged them on five trees; and they hung on the trees until evening.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:27---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:27 وكان عند غروب الشمس ان يشوع امر فانزلوهم عن الخشب وطرحوهم في المغارة التي اختبأوا فيها ووضعوا حجارة كبيرة على فم المغارة حتى الى هذا اليوم عينه -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:27 It came about at sunset that Joshua gave a command, and they took them down from the trees and threw them into the cave where they had hidden themselves, and put large stones over the mouth of the cave, to this very day.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:28---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:28 واخذ يشوع مقيدة في ذلك اليوم وضربها بحد السيف وحرّم ملكها هو وكل نفس بها. لم يبق شاردا. وفعل بملك مقيدة كما فعل بملك اريحا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:28 Now Joshua captured Makkedah on that day, and struck it and its king with the edge of the sword; he utterly destroyed it and every person who was in it. He left no survivor. Thus he did to the king of Makkedah just as he had done to the king of Jericho.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:29---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:29 ثم اجتاز يشوع من مقيدة وكل اسرائيل معه الى لبنة وحارب لبنة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:29 Then Joshua and all Israel with him passed on from Makkedah to Libnah, and fought against Libnah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:30---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:30 فدفعها الرب هي ايضا بيد اسرائيل مع ملكها فضربها بحد السيف وكل نفس بها. لم يبق بها شاردا وفعل بملكها كما فعل بملك اريحا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:30 The Lord gave it also with its king into the hands of Israel, and he struck it and every person who was in it with the edge of the sword. He left no survivor in it. He left no survivor, according to all that he had done to Eglon. And he utterly destroyed it and every person who was in it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:38---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:38 ثم رجع يشوع وكل اسرائيل معه الى دبير وحاربها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:38 Then Joshua and all Israel with him returned to Debir, and they fought against it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:39---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:39 وأخذها مع ملكها وكل مدنها وضربوها بحد السيف وحرّموا كل نفس بها. لم يبق شاردا. كما فعل بحبرون كذلك فعل بدبير وملكها وكما فعل بلبنة وملكها -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:39 He captured it and its king and all its cities, and they struck them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed every person who was in it. He left no survivor. Just as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and its king, as he had also done to Libnah and its king.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 10:40---- (Arabic) ﻉﻮﺸﻳ 10:40 فضرب يشوع كل ارض الجبل والجنوب والسهل والسفوح وكل ملوكها. لم يبق شاردا بل حرّم كل نسمة كما امر الرب اله اسرائيل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 10:40 Thus Joshua struck all the land, the hill country and the Negev and the lowland and the slopes and all their kings.
