(Hebrew) וְאַתָּה תְּדַבֵּר דְּבָרֶיךָ כְּדָת תּוֹרַת חַיִּים׃ א Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:1 But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:2---- (Hebrew) דַבֵּר אֶל־הַזְּקֵנִים כִּי יִפְקְחוּ עַיִן עַל־דַּרְכֵיהֶם לִהְיוֹת כְּבוּדִים מְאֻשָּׁרִים וּשְׁלֵמִים בָּאֱמוּנָה בְּאַהֲבָה וּבְכֹחַ הַסַּבָּל׃ ב Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:2 Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:3---- (Hebrew) וְכֵן גַּם־אֶל־הַזְּקֵנוֹת לִפַלֵּס הֲלִיכוֹתֵיהֶן כְּמִשְׁפָּט לַהֲלִיכוֹת נָשִׁים בַּקֹּדֶשׁ לֹא לְהַלְשִׁין בִּלְשׁוֹנָן וְלֹא לִמְשׁוֹךְ בַּיַּיִן אֶת־בְּשָׂרָן כִּי אִם־לְהוֹרֹת אֹרַח טוֹב׃ ג Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor הַצְּעִירוֹת לְאַהֲבָה אֶת־בַּעֲלֵיהֶן וְאֶת־בְּנֵיהֶן׃ ד Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:5---- (Hebrew) לְהַצְנַע לֶכֶת לְזַּכּוֹת אֶת־אָרְחָן וְלַעֲשׂוֹת מְלַאכְתָּן בְּבֵיתָן ולִהְיוֹת טוֹבוֹת וְנִכְנָעוֹת תַּחַת יְדֵי בַעֲלֵיהֶן לְבִלְתִּי יִנָּתֵן דְּבַר הָאֱלֹהִים לְגִדּוּפִים׃ ה Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will נְכֹחִים וִיקָרִים אֲשֶׁר אֵין בָּהֶם נִפְתָּל וְעִקֵּשׁ׃ ז Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:7 in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:8---- (Hebrew) וּבְלֶקַח טוֹב אֲשֶׁר מָשְׁחָת אֵין־בּוֹ עַד אֲשֶׁר צָרֶיךָ יִלְבְּשׁוּ־בשֶׁת וְלֹא יִמְצְאוּ לְדַבֵּר עָלֵינוּ סָרָה׃ ח Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:8 sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:9---- (Hebrew) וְעַל־הָעֲבָדִים תְּצַוֶּה כִּי־יִכָּנְעוּ תַחַת יְדֵי אֲדֹנֵיהֶם וְלִהְיוֹת לָהֶם לְרָצוֹן תָּמִיד וְלֹא לְהָשִׁיב דָּבָר לַמְרוֹת עֵינֵיהֶם׃ ט Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:9 Urge bondslaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:10---- (Hebrew) וְלֹא לִגְנֹב כִּי אִם־לְהַרְאוֹת בְּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶם כִּי רוּחָם נֶאֱמָנָה וּבְזֹאת יְפָאֲרוּ בַכֹּל אֶת־תּוֹרַת אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַמּוֹשִׁיעַ לָנוּ׃ י Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:10 not pilfering, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:11---- (Hebrew) כִּי חֶסֶד אֱלֹהִים זָרַח כַּשַּׁחַר לְיֵשַׁע בְּנֵי הָאָדָם כֻּלָּם׃ ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:12---- (Hebrew) וּלְהוֹרֹת לָנוּ לְהִבָּדֵל מִכָּל־רָע וּמִתַּאֲוֹת חַיֵּי בְשָׂרִים וְלָגוּר בָּאָרֶץ הַלֵּזוּ בְּהַשְׂכֵּל וּבְמֵישָׁרִים וּבְיִרְאַת שָׁמָיִם׃ יב Titus -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tit 2:12 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Titus 2:13---- (Hebrew) וְעֵינֵינוּ נְשׂוּאוֹת אֶל־הַתִּקְוָה הַטּוֹבָה לְעֵת יִגָּלֶה כְבוֹד הָאֱלֹהִים הַגָּדוֹל וְיֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ מוֹשִׁיעֵינוּ׃ יג Titus Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.(NASB-1995)
