2 Chronicles 16:1 Pada tahun ketiga puluh enam pemerintahan Asa majulah Baesa, raja Israel, hendak berperang melawan Yehuda. Ia memperkuat Rama dengan maksud mencegah lalu lintas kepada Asa, raja Yehuda.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:1 In the thirty-sixth year of Asa's reign Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah and fortified Ramah in order to prevent anyone from going out or coming in to Asa king of Judah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:2---- 2 Chronicles 16:2 Lalu Asa mengeluarkan emas dan perak dari perbendaharaan rumah TUHAN dan dari perbendaharaan rumah raja dan mengirimnya kepada Benhadad, raja Aram yang diam di Damsyik dengan pesan:(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:2 Then Asa brought out silver and gold from the treasuries of the house of the Lord and the king's house, and sent them to Ben-hadad king of Aram, who lived in Damascus, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:3---- 2 Chronicles 16:3 "Ada perjanjian antara aku dan engkau, antara ayahku dan ayahmu. Ini kukirim emas dan perak kepadamu. Marilah, batalkanlah perjanjianmu dengan Baesa, raja Israel, supaya ia undur dari padaku."(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:3 "Let there be a treaty between you and me, as between my father and your father. Behold, I have sent you silver and gold; go, break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel so that he will withdraw from me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:4---- 2 Chronicles 16:4 Lalu Benhadad mendengarkan permintaan raja Asa; ia menyuruh panglima-panglimanya menyerang kota-kota Israel. Dan mereka memukul kalah Iyon, Dan, Abel-Maim dan segala tempat perbekalan kota-kota di Naftali.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:4 So Ben-hadad listened to King Asa and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel, and they conquered Ijon, Dan, Abel-maim and all the store cities of Naphtali.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:5---- 2 Chronicles 16:5 Segera sesudah Baesa mendengar hal itu, ia berhenti memperkuat Rama; ia menghentikan usahanya itu.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:5 When Baasha heard of it, he ceased fortifying Ramah and stopped his work.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:6---- 2 Chronicles 16:6 Tetapi raja Asa mengerahkan segenap orang Yehuda, yang harus mengangkat batu dan kayu yang dipergunakan Baesa untuk memperkuat Rama itu. Ia mempergunakannya untuk memperkuat Geba dan Mizpa.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:6 Then King Asa brought all Judah, and they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber with which Baasha had been building, and with them he fortified Geba and Mizpah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:7---- 2 Chronicles 16:7 Pada waktu itu datanglah Hanani, pelihat itu, kepada Asa, raja Yehuda, katanya kepadanya: "Karena engkau bersandar kepada raja Aram dan tidak bersandar kepada TUHAN Allahmu, oleh karena itu terluputlah tentara raja Aram dari tanganmu.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:7 At that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, "Because you have relied on the king of Aram and have not relied on the Lord your God, therefore the army of the king of Aram has escaped out of your hand.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:8---- 2 Chronicles 16:8 Bukankah tentara orang Etiopia dan Libia besar jumlahnya, kereta dan orang berkudanya sangat banyak? Namun TUHAN telah menyerahkan mereka ke dalam tanganmu, karena engkau bersandar kepada-Nya.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubim an immense army with very many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the Lord, He delivered them into your hand.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:9---- 2 Chronicles 16:9 Karena mata TUHAN menjelajah seluruh bumi untuk melimpahkan kekuatan-Nya kepada mereka yang bersungguh hati terhadap Dia. Dalam hal ini engkau telah berlaku bodoh, oleh sebab itu mulai sekarang ini engkau akan mengalami peperangan."(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:10---- 2 Chronicles 16:10 Maka sakit hatilah Asa karena perkataan pelihat itu, sehingga ia memasukkannya ke dalam penjara, sebab memang ia sangat marah terhadap dia karena perkara itu. Pada waktu itu Asa menganiaya juga beberapa orang dari rakyat.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:10 Then Asa was angry with the seer and put him in prison, for he was enraged at him for this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at the same time.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:11---- 2 Chronicles 16:11 Sesungguhnya riwayat Asa dari awal sampai akhir tertulis dalam kitab raja-raja Yehuda dan Israel.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:11 Now, the acts of Asa from first to last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:12---- 2 Chronicles 16:12 Pada tahun ketiga puluh sembilan pemerintahannya Asa menderita sakit pada kakinya yang kemudian menjadi semakin parah. Namun dalam kesakitannya itu ia tidak mencari pertolongan TUHAN, tetapi pertolongan tabib-tabib.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:12 In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa became diseased in his feet. His disease was severe, yet even in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but the physicians.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:13---- 2 Chronicles 16:13 Kemudian Asa mendapat perhentian bersama-sama nenek moyangnya. Ia mati pada tahun keempat puluh satu pemerintahannya,(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:13 So Asa slept with his fathers, having died in the forty-first year of his reign.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 16:14---- 2 Chronicles 16:14 dan dikuburkan di kuburan yang telah digali baginya di kota Daud. Mereka membaringkannya di atas petiduran yang penuh dengan rempah-rempah dan segala macam rempah-rempah campuran yang dicampur menurut cara pencampur rempah-rempah, lalu menyalakan api yang sangat besar untuk menghormatinya.(Indonesian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 16:14 They buried him in his own tomb which he had cut out for himself in the city of David, and they laid him in the resting place which he had filled with spices of various kinds blended by the perfumers' art; and they made a very great fire for him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 17:1 ---- written 450-425 B.C.---- |
