Pre-Exilic---- Jer 34:1 Verbum quod factum est ad Jeremiam a Domino quando Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, et omnis exercitus ejus, universaque regna terræ quæ erant sub potestate manus ejus, et omnes populi, bellabant contra Jerusalem, et contra omnes urbes ejus, dicens:(Latin-405AD) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jer 34:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army, with all the kingdoms of the earth that were under his dominion and all the peoples, were fighting against Jerusalem and against all its cities, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jeremiah 34:2---- Jer 34:2 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël: Vade, et loquere ad Sedeciam regem Juda, et dices ad eum: Hæc dicit Dominus: Ecce ego tradam civitatem hanc in manus regis Babylonis, et succendet eam igni:(Latin-405AD) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jer 34:2 "Thus says the Lord God of Israel, 'Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah and say to him."
