Lucas 14:1 Y aconteció un día sábado, que yendo a comer pan en casa de un príncipe de los fariseos, ellos le acechaban.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:1 It happened that when He went into the house of one of the leaders of the Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread, they were watching Him closely.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:2---- Lucas 14:2 Y he aquí un hombre hidrópico estaba delante de Él.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:2 And there in front of Him was a man suffering from dropsy.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:3---- Lucas 14:3 Y respondiendo Jesús, habló a los doctores de la ley y a los fariseos, diciendo: ‹¿Es lícito sanar en sábado?›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:3 And Jesus answered and spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:4---- Lucas 14:4 Y ellos callaron. y entonces comiences con vergüenza a tomar el último lugar.›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:9 and he who invited you both will come and say to you, 'Give your place to this man,' and then in disgrace you proceed to occupy the last place.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:10---- Lucas 14:10 ‹Mas cuando seas convidado, ve, y siéntate en el postrer lugar; para que cuando venga el que te convidó, te diga: Amigo, sube más arriba; entonces tendrás gloria delante de los que juntamente se sientan a la mesa.›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:10 But when you are invited, go and recline at the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he may say to you, 'Friend, move up higher'; then you will have honor in the sight of all who are at the table with you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:11---- Lucas 14:11 ‹Porque cualquiera que se enaltece, será humillado; no sea que también ellos te vuelvan a convidar, y te sea hecha recompensa.›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:12 And He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you in return and that will be your repayment.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:13---- Lucas 14:13 ‹Mas cuando hagas banquete, llama a los pobres, los mancos, los cojos, y a los ciegos;›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:13 But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Luke 14:14---- Lucas 14:14 ‹y serás bienaventurado; porque ellos no te pueden recompensar; pues tú serás recompensado en la resurrección de los justos.›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:14 and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; Entonces enojado el padre de familia, dijo a su siervo: Ve pronto por las plazas y las calles de la ciudad, y mete acá a los pobres, los mancos, los cojos y los ciegos.›(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luk 14:21 And the slave came back and reported this to his master.
