================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:1 ---- written 465 B.C.---- Est 4:1 När Mordokai fick veta allt vad som hade skett, rev han sönder sina kläder och klädde sig i säck och aska, och gick så ut i staden och uppgav högljudda och bittra klagorop.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:1 When Mordecai learned all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city and wailed loudly and bitterly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:2---- Est 4:2 Och han begav sig till konungens port och stannade framför den, ty in i konungens port fick ingen komma, som var klädd i sorgdräkt.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:2 He went as far as the king's gate, for no one was to enter the king's gate clothed in sackcloth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:3---- Est 4:3 Och i vart hövdingdöme dit konungens befallning och påbud kom blev stor sorg bland judarna, och de fastade, gräto och klagade, ja, de flesta satte sig i säck och aska.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:3 In each and every province where the command and decree of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing; and many lay on sackcloth and ashes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:4---- Est 4:4 När nu Esters tjänarinnor och hovmän kommo och berättade detta för henne, blev drottningen högeligen förskräckt; och hon skickade ut kläder till Mordokai, för att man skulle kläda honom i dem och taga av honom sorgdräkten; men han tog icke emot dem.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:4 Then Esther's maidens and her eunuchs came and told her, and the queen writhed in great anguish. And she sent garments to clothe Mordecai that he might remove his sackcloth from him, but he did not accept them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:5---- Est 4:5 Då kallade Ester till sig Hatak, en av de hovmän som konungen hade anställt i hennes tjänst, och bjöd honom att gå till Mordokai, för att få veta vad som var på färde, och varför han gjorde så.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:5 Then Esther summoned Hathach from the king's eunuchs, whom the king had appointed to attend her, and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what this was and why it was.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:6---- Est 4:6 När då Hatak kom ut till Mordokai på den öppna platsen i staden framför konungens port,(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai to the city square in front of the king's gate.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:7---- Est 4:7 berättade Mordokai för honom allt vad som hade hänt honom, och uppgav beloppet av den penningsumma som Haman hade lovat väga upp till konungens skattkamrar, för att han skulle få förgöra judarna.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:7 Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the exact amount of money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the destruction of the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:8---- Est 4:8 Och en avskrift av det skrivna påbud som hade blivit utfärdat i Susan om att de skulle utrotas lämnade han honom ock, för att han skulle visa Ester den och berätta allt för henne, och ålägga henne att gå in till konungen och bedja honom om misskund och söka nåd hos honom för sitt folk.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:8 He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict which had been issued in Susa for their destruction, that he might show Esther and inform her, and to order her to go in to the king to implore his favor and to plead with him for her people.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:9---- Est 4:9 Och Hatak kom och berättade för Ester vad Mordokai hade sagt.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:9 Hathach came back and related Mordecai's words to Esther.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:10---- Est 4:10 Då bjöd Ester Hatak att gå till Mordokai och säga:(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach and ordered him to reply to Mordecai:(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:11---- Est 4:11 »Alla konungens tjänare och folket i konungens hövdingdömen veta, att om någon, vare sig man eller kvinna, går in till konungen på den inre gården utan att vara kallad, så gäller för var och en samma lag: att han skall dödas, såframt icke konungen räcker ut mot honom den gyllene spiran, till tecken på att han får leva. Men jag har icke på trettio dagar varit kallad att komma till konungen.»(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:11 "All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:12---- Est 4:12 När man nu berättade för Mordokai vad Ester hade sagt,(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:12 They related Esther's words to Mordecai.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:13---- Est 4:13 sade Mordokai att man skulle giva Ester detta svar: »Tänk icke att du ensam bland alla judar skall slippa undan, därför att du är i konungens hus.(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:13 Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, "Do not imagine that you in the king's palace can escape any more than all the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:14---- Est 4:14 Nej, om du tiger stilla vid detta tillfälle, så skall nog hjälp och räddning beredas judarna från något annat håll, men du och din faders hus, I skolen förgöras. Vem vet om du icke just för en sådan tid som denna har kommit till konungslig värdighet?»(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:15---- Est 4:15 Då lät Ester giva Mordokai detta svar:(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:16---- Est 4:16 »Gå åstad och församla alla judar som finnas i Susan, och hållen fasta för mig; I skolen icke äta eller dricka något under tre dygn, vare sig dag eller natt. Jag med mina tärnor vill ock sammalunda fasta; därefter vill jag gå in till konungen, fastän det är emot lagen. Och skall jag gå förlorad, så må det då ske.»(Swedish-1917) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:16 "Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way.
