Today's Date: ======= Psalm 63:1 ============ Psa 63:1 O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water.(nasb) Psa 63:1 ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τῆς Ιουδαίας (lxx) Psa 63:1 [Vulgate 62:1] canticum David cum esset in deserto Iuda [Vulgate 62:2] Deus fortitudo mea tu es de luce consurgam ad te sitivit te anima mea desideravit te caro mea(vulgate) Psa 63:1 (Ein Psa lm Davids, da er war in der Wüste Juda.) Gott, du bist mein Gott; frühe wache ich zu dir. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:2 ============ Psa 63:2 Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.(nasb) Psa 63:2 ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεός μου πρὸς σὲ ὀρθρίζω ἐδίψησέν σοι ἡ ψυχή μου ποσαπλῶς σοι ἡ σάρξ μου ἐν γῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ἀβάτῳ καὶ ἀνύδρῳ (lxx) Psa 63:2 [Vulgate 62:3] in terra invia et conficiente ac sine aqua sic in sancto apparui tibi ut videam fortitudinem tuam et gloriam tuam(vulgate) Psa 63:2 Daselbst sehe ich nach dir in deinem Heiligtum, wollte gerne schauen deine Macht und Ehre.(dhs) Psa 63:2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:3 ============ Psa 63:3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You.(nasb) Psa 63:3 οὕτως ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ ὤφθην σοι τοῦ ἰδεῖν τὴν δύναμίν σου καὶ τὴν δόξαν σου (lxx) Psa 63:3 [Vulgate 62:4] melior est enim misericordia tua quam vitae labia mea laudabunt te(vulgate) Psa 63:3 Denn deine Güte ist besser denn Leben; meine Lippen preisen dich.(dhs) Psa 63:3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:4 ============ Psa 63:4 So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.(nasb) Psa 63:4 ὅτι κρεῖσσον τὸ ἔλεός σου ὑπὲρ ζωάς τὰ χείλη μου ἐπαινέσουσίν σε (lxx) Psa 63:4 [Vulgate 62:5] sic benedicam tibi in vita mea in nomine tuo levabo manus meas(vulgate) Psa 63:4 Daselbst wollte ich dich gerne loben mein Leben lang und meine Hände in deinem Namen aufheben.(dhs) Psa 63:4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:5 ============ Psa 63:5 My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.(nasb) Psa 63:5 οὕτως εὐλογήσω σε ἐν τῇ ζωῇ μου ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἀρῶ τὰς χεῖράς μου (lxx) Psa 63:5 [Vulgate 62:6] quasi adipe et pinguidine implebitur anima mea et labiis laudantibus canet os meum(vulgate) Psa 63:5 Das wäre meines Herzens Freude und Wonne, wenn ich dich mit fröhlichem Munde loben sollte.(dhs) Psa 63:5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:6 ============ Psa 63:6 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches,(nasb) Psa 63:6 ὡσεὶ στέατος καὶ πιότητος ἐμπλησθείη ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ χείλη ἀγαλλιάσεως αἰνέσει τὸ στόμα μου (lxx) Psa 63:6 [Vulgate 62:7] recordans tui in cubili meo per singulas vigilias meditabor tibi(vulgate) Psa 63:6 Wenn ich mich zu Bette lege, so denke ich an dich; wenn ich erwache, so rede ich von dir.(dhs) Psa 63:6 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:7 ============ Psa 63:7 For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.(nasb) Psa 63:7 εἰ ἐμνημόνευόν σου ἐπὶ τῆς στρωμνῆς μου ἐν τοῖς ὄρθροις ἐμελέτων εἰς σέ (lxx) Psa 63:7 [Vulgate 62:8] quia fuisti auxilium meum in umbra alarum tuarum laudabo(vulgate) Psa 63:7 Denn du bist mein Helfer, und unter dem Schatten deiner Flügel frohlocke ich.(dhs) Psa 63:7 Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:8 ============ Psa 63:8 My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.(nasb) Psa 63:8 ὅτι ἐγενήθης βοηθός μου καὶ ἐν τῇ σκέπῃ τῶν πτερύγων σου ἀγαλλιάσομαι (lxx) Psa 63:8 [Vulgate 62:9] adhesit anima mea post te me suscepit dextera tua(vulgate) Psa 63:8 Meine Seele hanget dir an; deine rechte Hand erhält mich.(dhs) Psa 63:8 My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:9 ============ Psa 63:9 But those who seek my life to destroy it, Will go into the depths of the earth.(nasb) Psa 63:9 ἐκολλήθη ἡ ψυχή μου ὀπίσω σου ἐμοῦ ἀντελάβετο ἡ δεξιά σου (lxx) Psa 63:9 [Vulgate 62:10] ipsi vero interficere quaerunt animam meam ingrediantur in extrema terrae(vulgate) Psa 63:9 Sie aber stehen nach meiner Seele, mich zu überfallen; sie werden unter die Erde hinunterfahren.(dhs) Psa 63:9 But those who seek my life, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:10 ============ Psa 63:10 They will be delivered over to the power of the sword; They will be a prey for foxes.(nasb) Psa 63:10 αὐτοὶ δὲ εἰς μάτην ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὰ κατώτατα τῆς γῆς (lxx) Psa 63:10 [Vulgate 62:11] congregentur in manus gladii pars vulpium erunt(vulgate) Psa 63:10 Sie werden ins Schwert fallen und den Füchsen zuteil werden.(dhs) Psa 63:10 They shall fall by the sword; They shall be a portion for jackals.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 63:11 ============ Psa 63:11 But the king will rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him will glory, For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.(nasb) Psa 63:11 ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς εὐφρανθήσεται ἐπὶ τῷ θεῷ ἐπαινεσθήσεται πᾶς ὁ ὀμνύων ἐν αὐτῷ ὅτι ἐνεφράγη στόμα λαλούντων ἄδικα (lxx) Psa 63:11 [Vulgate 62:12] rex autem laetabitur in Deo laudabitur omnis qui iurat in eo quia obstruetur os loquentium mendacium(vulgate) Psa 63:11 Aber der König freut sich in Gott.
