Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:4 ============ Psa 75:4 "I said to the boastful, 'Do not boast, 'And to the wicked, 'Do not lift up the horn;(nasb) Psa 75:4 ἐτάκη ἡ γῆ καὶ πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν αὐτῇ ἐγὼ ἐστερέωσα τοὺς στύλους αὐτῆς διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 75:4 [Vulgate 74:5] dixi inique agentibus nolite inique agere et impiis nolite exaltare cornu(vulgate) Psa 75:4 Ich sprach zu den Ruhmredigen: Rühmet nicht so! und zu den Gottlosen: Pochet nicht auf Gewalt!(dhs) Psa 75:4 'I said to the boastful, 'Do not deal boastfully,' And to the wicked, 'Do not lift up the horn.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:5 ============ Psa 75:5 Do not lift up your horn on high, Do not speak with insolent pride.'"(nasb) Psa 75:5 εἶπα τοῖς παρανομοῦσιν μὴ παρανομεῖτε καὶ τοῖς ἁμαρτάνουσιν μὴ ὑψοῦτε κέρας (lxx) Psa 75:5 [Vulgate 74:6] nolite exaltare in excelsum cornu vestrum loquentes in cervice veteri(vulgate) Psa 75:5 pochet nicht so hoch auf eure Gewalt, redet nicht halsstarrig,(dhs) Psa 75:5 Do not lift up your horn on high; Do not speak with a stiff neck.' "(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:6 ============ Psa 75:6 For not from the east, nor from the west, Nor from the desert comes exaltation;(nasb) Psa 75:6 μὴ ἐπαίρετε εἰς ὕψος τὸ κέρας ὑμῶν μὴ λαλεῖτε κατὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ἀδικίαν (lxx) Psa 75:6 [Vulgate 74:7] quia nec ab oriente neque ab occidente neque a solitudine montium(vulgate) Psa 75:6 es habe keine Not, weder vom Anfang noch vom Niedergang noch von dem Gebirge in der Wüste.(dhs) Psa 75:6 For exaltation comes neither from the east Nor from the west nor from the south.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:7 ============ Psa 75:7 But God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.(nasb) Psa 75:7 ὅτι οὔτε ἀπὸ ἐξόδων οὔτε ἀπὸ δυσμῶν οὔτε ἀπὸ ἐρήμων ὀρέων (lxx) Psa 75:7 [Vulgate 74:8] sed Deus iudex hunc humiliabit et hunc exaltabit(vulgate) Psa 75:7 Denn Gott ist Richter, der diesen erniedrigt und jenen erhöht.(dhs) Psa 75:7 But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:8 ============ Psa 75:8 For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.(nasb) Psa 75:8 ὅτι ὁ θεὸς κριτής ἐστιν τοῦτον ταπεινοῖ καὶ τοῦτον ὑψοῖ (lxx) Psa 75:8 [Vulgate 74:9] quia calix in manu Domini est et vino meraco usque ad plenum mixtus et propinabit ex eo verumtamen feces eius epotabunt bibentes omnes impii terrae(vulgate) Psa 75:8 Denn der HERR hat einen Becher in der Hand und mit starkem Wein voll eingeschenkt und schenkt aus demselben; aber die Gottlosen müssen alle trinken und die Hefen aussaufen.(dhs) Psa 75:8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, And the wine is red; It is fully mixed, and He pours it out; Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth Drain and drink down.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:9 ============ Psa 75:9 But as for me, I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.(nasb) Psa 75:9 ὅτι ποτήριον ἐν χειρὶ κυρίου οἴνου ἀκράτου πλῆρες κεράσματος καὶ ἔκλινεν ἐκ τούτου εἰς τοῦτο πλὴν ὁ τρυγίας αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐξεκενώθη πίονται πάντες οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Psa 75:9 [Vulgate 74:10] ego autem adnuntiabo in sempiternum cantabo Deo Iacob(vulgate) Psa 75:9 Ich aber will verkündigen ewiglich und lobsingen dem Gott Jakobs.(dhs) Psa 75:9 But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 75:10 ============ Psa 75:10 And all the horns of the wicked He will cut off, But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.(nasb) Psa 75:10 καὶ πάντα τὰ κέρατα τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν συγκλάσω καὶ ὑψωθήσεται τὰ κέρατα τοῦ δικαίου (lxx) Psa 75:10 [Vulgate 74:11] et omnia cornua impiorum confringam exaltabuntur cornua iusti(vulgate) Psa 75:10 "Und will alle Gewalt der Gottlosen zerbrechen, daß die Gewalt des Gerechten erhöht werde."(dhs) Psa 75:10 'All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 76:1 ============ top of the page
