I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:2 ============ Psa 138:2 I will bow down toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.(nasb) Psa 138:2 προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου καὶ ἐξομολογήσομαι τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἐπὶ τῷ ἐλέει σου καὶ τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου ὅτι ἐμεγάλυνας ἐπὶ πᾶν ὄνομα τὸ λόγιόν σου (lxx) Psa 138:2 [Vulgate 137:2] adorabo in templo sancto tuo et confitebor nomini tuo super misericordia tua et super veritate tua quia magnificasti super omne nomen tuum eloquium tuum(vulgate) Psa 138:2 Ich will anbeten zu deinem heiligen Tempel und deinem Namen danken für deine Güte und Treue; denn du hast deinen Namen über alles herrlich gemacht durch dein Wort.(dhs) Psa 138:2 I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:3 ============ Psa 138:3 On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with strength in my soul.(nasb) Psa 138:3 ἐν ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἐπικαλέσωμαί σε ταχὺ ἐπάκουσόν μου πολυωρήσεις με ἐν ψυχῇ μου ἐν δυνάμει (lxx) Psa 138:3 [Vulgate 137:3] in die invocabo et exaudies me dilatabis animae meae fortitudinem(vulgate) Psa 138:3 Wenn ich dich anrufe, so erhörst du mich und gibst meiner Seele große Kraft.(dhs) Psa 138:3 In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:4 ============ Psa 138:4 All the kings of the earth will give thanks to You, O Lord, When they have heard the words of Your mouth.(nasb) Psa 138:4 ἐξομολογησάσθωσάν σοι κύριε πάντες οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς ὅτι ἤκουσαν πάντα τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματός σου (lxx) Psa 138:4 [Vulgate 137:4] confiteantur tibi Domine omnes reges terrae quoniam audierunt eloquia oris tui(vulgate) Psa 138:4 Es danken dir, HERR, alle Könige auf Erden, daß sie hören das Wort deines Mundes,(dhs) Psa 138:4 All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O Lord, When they hear the words of Your mouth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:5 ============ Psa 138:5 And they will sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.(nasb) Psa 138:5 καὶ ᾀσάτωσαν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς κυρίου ὅτι μεγάλη ἡ δόξα κυρίου (lxx) Psa 138:5 [Vulgate 137:5] et cantent in viis Domini quoniam magna gloria Domini(vulgate) Psa 138:5 und singen auf den Wegen des HERRN, daß die Ehre des HERRN groß sei.(dhs) Psa 138:5 Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:6 ============ Psa 138:6 For though the Lord is exalted, Yet He regards the lowly, But the haughty He knows from afar.(nasb) Psa 138:6 ὅτι ὑψηλὸς κύριος καὶ τὰ ταπεινὰ ἐφορᾷ καὶ τὰ ὑψηλὰ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν γινώσκει (lxx) Psa 138:6 [Vulgate 137:6] quoniam excelsus Dominus et humilem respicit et excelsa de longe cognoscit(vulgate) Psa 138:6 Denn der HERR ist hoch und sieht auf das Niedrige und kennt die Stolzen von ferne.(dhs) Psa 138:6 Though the Lord is on high, Yet He regards the lowly; But the proud He knows from afar.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:7 ============ Psa 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.(nasb) Psa 138:7 ἐὰν πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ θλίψεως ζήσεις με ἐπ᾽ ὀργὴν ἐχθρῶν μου ἐξέτεινας χεῖρά σου καὶ ἔσωσέν με ἡ δεξιά σου (lxx) Psa 138:7 [Vulgate 137:7] si ambulavero in medio tribulationis vivificabis me super furorem inimicorum meorum mittes manum tuam et salvabit me dextera tua(vulgate) Psa 138:7 Wenn ich mitten in der Angst wandle, so erquickst du mich und streckst deine Hand über den Zorn meiner Feinde und hilfst mir mit deiner Rechten.(dhs) Psa 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 138:8 ============ Psa 138:8 The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.(nasb) Psa 138:8 κύριος ἀνταποδώσει ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ κύριε τὸ ἔλεός σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν σου μὴ παρῇς (lxx) Psa 138:8 [Vulgate 137:8] Dominus operabitur pro me Domine misericordia tua in aeternum opera manuum tuarum ne dimittas(vulgate) Psa 138:8 Der HERR wird's für mich vollführen. HERR, deine Güte ist ewig.
