Eat, friends; Drink and imbibe deeply, O lovers."(nasb) Sos 5:1 εἰσῆλθον εἰς κῆπόν μου ἀδελφή μου νύμφη ἐτρύγησα σμύρναν μου μετὰ ἀρωμάτων μου ἔφαγον ἄρτον μου μετὰ μέλιτός μου ἔπιον οἶνόν μου μετὰ γάλακτός μου φάγετε πλησίοι καὶ πίετε καὶ μεθύσθητε ἀδελφοί (lxx) Sos 5:1 [Veniat dilectus meus in hortum suum, et comedat fructum pomorum suorum. Sos 5:1 Ich bin gekommen, meine Schwester, liebe Braut, in meinen Garten. Ich habe meine Myrrhe samt meinen Würzen abgebrochen; ich habe meinen Seim samt meinem Honig gegessen; ich habe meinen Wein samt meiner Milch getrunken. Ich habe meine Füße gewaschen, wie soll ich sie wieder besudeln?(dhs) Sos 5:3 I have taken off my robe; How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet; How can I defile them?(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 5:4 ============ Sos 5:4 "My beloved extended his hand through the opening, And my feelings were aroused for him.(nasb) Sos 5:4 ἀδελφιδός μου ἀπέστειλεν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀπῆς καὶ ἡ κοιλία μου ἐθροήθη ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν (lxx) Sos 5:4 Dilectus meus misit manum suam per foramen, et venter meus intremuit ad tactum ejus.(vulgate) Sos 5:4 Aber mein Freund steckte seine Hand durchs Riegelloch, und mein Innerstes erzitterte davor.(dhs) Sos 5:4 My beloved put his hand By the latch of the door, And my heart yearned for him.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 5:5 ============ Sos 5:5 "I arose to open to my beloved; And my hands dripped with myrrh, And my fingers with liquid myrrh, On the handles of the bolt.(nasb) Sos 5:5 ἀνέστην ἐγὼ ἀνοῖξαι τῷ ἀδελφιδῷ μου χεῖρές μου ἔσταξαν σμύρναν δάκτυλοί μου σμύρναν πλήρη ἐπὶ χεῖρας τοῦ κλείθρου (lxx) Sos 5:5 Surrexi ut aperirem dilecto meo; manus meæ stillaverunt myrrham, et digiti mei pleni myrrha probatissima.(vulgate) Sos 5:5 Da stand ich auf, daß ich meinem Freund auftäte; meine Hände troffen von Myrrhe und meine Finger von fließender Myrrhe an dem Riegel am Schloß.(dhs) Sos 5:5 I arose to open for my beloved, And my hands dripped with myrrh, My fingers with liquid myrrh, On the handles of the lock.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 5:6 ============ Sos 5:6 "I opened to my beloved, But my beloved had turned away and had gone! My heart went out to him as he spoke. I searched for him but I did not find him; I called him but he did not answer me.(nasb) Sos 5:6 ἤνοιξα ἐγὼ τῷ ἀδελφιδῷ μου ἀδελφιδός μου παρῆλθεν ψυχή μου ἐξῆλθεν ἐν λόγῳ αὐτοῦ ἐζήτησα αὐτὸν καὶ οὐχ εὗρον αὐτόν ἐκάλεσα αὐτόν καὶ οὐχ ὑπήκουσέν μου (lxx) Sos 5:6 Pessulum ostii mei aperui dilecto meo, at ille declinaverat, atque transierat. Anima mea liquefacta est, ut locutus est; quæsivi, et non inveni illum; vocavi, et non respondit mihi.(vulgate) Sos 5:6 Und da ich meinem Freund aufgetan hatte, war er weg und hingegangen. Meine Seele war außer sich, als er redete. Tulerunt pallium meum mihi custodes murorum.(vulgate) Sos 5:7 Es fanden mich die Hüter, die in der Stadt umgehen; die schlugen mich wund; die Hüter auf der Mauer nahmen mir meinen Schleier.(dhs) Sos 5:7 The watchmen who went about the city found me. Labia ejus lilia, distillantia myrrham primam.(vulgate) Sos 5:13 Seine Backen sind wie Würzgärtlein, da Balsamkräuter wachsen. Seine Lippen sind wie Rosen, die von fließender Myrrhe triefen.(dhs) Sos 5:13 His cheeks are like a bed of spices, Banks of scented herbs. His lips are lilies, Dripping liquid myrrh.(nkjv) ======= Song of Solomon 5:14 ============ Sos 5:14 "His hands are rods of gold Set with beryl; His abdomen is carved ivory Inlaid with sapphires.(nasb) Sos 5:14 χεῖρες αὐτοῦ τορευταὶ χρυσαῖ πεπληρωμέναι θαρσις κοιλία αὐτοῦ πυξίον ἐλεφάντινον ἐπὶ λίθου σαπφείρου (lxx) Sos 5:14 Manus illius tornatiles, aureæ, plenæ hyacinthis. Venter ejus eburneus, distinctus sapphiris.(vulgate) Sos 5:14 Seine Hände sind wie goldene Ringe, voll Türkise. Sein Leib ist wie reines Elfenbein, mit Saphiren geschmückt.(dhs) Sos 5:14 His hands are rods of gold Set with beryl. Species ejus ut Libani, electus ut cedri.(vulgate) Sos 5:15 Seine Beine sind wie Marmelsäulen, gegründet auf goldenen Füßen.
