They have abandoned the Lord, They have despised the Holy One of Israel, They have turned away from Him.(nasb) Isa 1:4 οὐαὶ ἔθνος ἁμαρτωλόν λαὸς πλήρης ἁμαρτιῶν σπέρμα πονηρόν υἱοὶ ἄνομοι ἐγκατελίπατε τὸν κύριον καὶ παρωργίσατε τὸν ἅγιον τοῦ Ισραηλ (lxx) Isa 1:4 Væ genti peccatrici, populo gravi iniquitate, semini nequam, filiis sceleratis! dereliquerunt Dominum; blasphemaverunt Sanctum Israël; abalienati sunt retrorsum.(vulgate) Isa 1:4 O weh des sündigen Volks, des Volks von großer Missetat, des boshaften Samens, der verderbten Kinder, die den HERRN verlassen, den Heiligen in Israel lästern, zurückweichen!(dhs) Isa 1:4 Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the Lord, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 1:5 ============ Isa 1:5 Where will you be stricken again, As you continue in your rebellion? The whole head is sick And the whole heart is faint.(nasb) Isa 1:5 τί ἔτι πληγῆτε προστιθέντες ἀνομίαν πᾶσα κεφαλὴ εἰς πόνον καὶ πᾶσα καρδία εἰς λύπην (lxx) Isa 1:5 Super quo percutiam vos ultra, addentes prævaricationem? omne caput languidum, et omne cor mœrens.(vulgate) Isa 1:5 Was soll man weiter euch schlagen, so ihr des Abweichens nur desto mehr macht? Das ganze Haupt ist krank, das ganze Herz ist matt.(dhs) Isa 1:5 Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. Says the Lord. "I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle; And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs or goats.(nasb) Isa 1:11 τί μοι πλῆθος τῶν θυσιῶν ὑμῶν λέγει κύριος πλήρης εἰμὶ ὁλοκαυτωμάτων κριῶν καὶ στέαρ ἀρνῶν καὶ αἷμα ταύρων καὶ τράγων οὐ βούλομαι (lxx) Isa 1:11 Quo mihi multitudinem victimarum vestrarum? dicit Dominus. Plenus sum: holocausta arietum, et adipem pinguium, et sanguinem vitulorum et agnorum et hircorum, nolui.(vulgate) Isa 1:11 Was soll mir die Menge eurer Opfer? spricht der HERR. Ich bin satt der Brandopfer von Widdern und des Fetten von den Gemästeten und habe keine Lust zum Blut der Farren, der Lämmer und Böcke.(dhs) Isa 1:11 "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?" Says the Lord. "I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 1:12 ============ Isa 1:12 "When you come to appear before Me, Who requires of you this trampling of My courts?(nasb) Isa 1:12 οὐδ᾽ ἐὰν ἔρχησθε ὀφθῆναί μοι τίς γὰρ ἐξεζήτησεν ταῦτα ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν ὑμῶν πατεῖν τὴν αὐλήν μου (lxx) Isa 1:12 Cum veniretis ante conspectum meum, quis quæsivit hæc de manibus vestris, ut ambularetis in atriis meis?(vulgate) Isa 1:12 Wenn ihr hereinkommt, zu erscheinen vor mir, wer fordert solches von euren Händen, daß ihr auf meinen Vorhof tretet?(dhs) Isa 1:12 "When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this from your hand, To trample My courts?(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 1:13 ============ Isa 1:13 "Bring your worthless offerings no longer, Incense is an abomination to Me. New moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies-- I cannot endure iniquity and the solemn assembly.(nasb) Isa 1:13 οὐ προσθήσεσθε ἐὰν φέρητε σεμίδαλιν μάταιον θυμίαμα βδέλυγμά μοί ἐστιν τὰς νουμηνίας ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ σάββατα καὶ ἡμέραν μεγάλην οὐκ ἀνέχομαι νηστείαν καὶ ἀργίαν (lxx) Isa 1:13 Ne offeratis ultra sacrificium frustra: incensum abominatio est mihi. Neomeniam et sabbatum, et festivitates alias, non feram; iniqui sunt cœtus vestri.(vulgate) Isa 1:13 Bringt nicht mehr Speisopfer so vergeblich! das Räuchwerk ist mir ein Greuel! Neumonde und Sabbate, da ihr zusammenkommt, Frevel und Festfeier mag ich nicht!(dhs) Isa 1:13 Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. Righteousness once lodged in her, But now murderers.(nasb) Isa 1:21 πῶς ἐγένετο πόρνη πόλις πιστὴ Σιων πλήρης κρίσεως ἐν ᾗ δικαιοσύνη ἐκοιμήθη ἐν αὐτῇ νῦν δὲ φονευταί (lxx) Isa 1:21 Quomodo facta est meretrix civitas fidelis, plena judicii? justitia habitavit in ea, nunc autem homicidæ.(vulgate) Isa 1:21 Wie geht das zu, daß die fromme Stadt zur Hure geworden ist? They do not defend the orphan, Nor does the widow's plea come before them.(nasb) Isa 1:23 οἱ ἄρχοντές σου ἀπειθοῦσιν κοινωνοὶ κλεπτῶν ἀγαπῶντες δῶρα διώκοντες ἀνταπόδομα ὀρφανοῖς οὐ κρίνοντες καὶ κρίσιν χηρῶν οὐ προσέχοντες (lxx) Isa 1:23 Principes tui infideles, socii furum. Omnes diligunt munera, sequuntur retributiones. Pupillo non judicant, et causa viduæ non ingreditur ad illos.(vulgate) Isa 1:23 Deine Fürsten sind Abtrünnige und Diebsgesellen; sie nehmen alle gern Geschenke und trachten nach Gaben; dem Waisen schaffen sie nicht Recht, und der Witwe Sache kommt nicht vor sie.(dhs) Isa 1:23 Your princes are rebellious, And companions of thieves; Everyone loves bribes, And follows after rewards.
