Today's Date: ======= Hosea 1:1 ============ Hos 1:1 The word of the Lord which came to Hosea the son of Beeri, during the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and during the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.(nasb) Hos 1:1 λόγος κυρίου ὃς ἐγενήθη πρὸς Ωσηε τὸν τοῦ Βεηρι ἐν ἡμέραις Οζιου καὶ Ιωαθαμ καὶ Αχαζ καὶ Εζεκιου βασιλέων Ιουδα καὶ ἐν ἡμέραις Ιεροβοαμ υἱοῦ Ιωας βασιλέως Ισραηλ (lxx) Hos 1:1 Verbum Domini, quod factum est ad Osee, filium Beeri, in diebus Oziæ, Joathan, Achaz, Ezechiæ, regum Juda; et in diebus Jeroboam, filii Joas, regis Israël.~(vulgate) Hos 1:1 Dies ist das Wort des HERRN, das geschehen ist zu Hos a, dem Sohn Beeris, zu der Zeit des Usia, Jotham, Ahas und Hiskia, der Könige Juda's, und zur Zeit Jerobeams, des Sohnes Joas, des Königs in Israel.(dhs) Hos 1:1 The word of the Lord that came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:2 ============ Hos 1:2 When the Lord first spoke through Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea, "Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the Lord."(nasb) Hos 1:2 ἀρχὴ λόγου κυρίου πρὸς Ωσηε καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Ωσηε βάδιζε λαβὲ σεαυτῷ γυναῖκα πορνείας καὶ τέκνα πορνείας διότι ἐκπορνεύουσα ἐκπορνεύσει ἡ γῆ ἀπὸ ὄπισθεν τοῦ κυρίου (lxx) Hos 1:2 Principium loquendi Domino in Osee. Et dixit Dominus ad Osee: Vade, sume tibi uxorem fornicationum, et fac tibi filios fornicationum, quia fornicans fornicabitur terra a Domino.(vulgate) Hos 1:2 Da der HERR anfing zu reden durch Hos a, sprach er zu ihm: Gehe hin und nimm ein Hurenweib und Hurenkinder; denn das Land läuft vom HERRN der Hurerei nach.(dhs) Hos 1:2 When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: "Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry By departing from the Lord."(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:3 ============ Hos 1:3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.(nasb) Hos 1:3 καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν Γομερ θυγατέρα Δεβηλαιμ καὶ συνέλαβεν καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ υἱόν (lxx) Hos 1:3 Et abiit, et accepit Gomer, filiam Debelaim: et concepit, et peperit ei filium.(vulgate) Hos 1:3 Und er ging hin und nahm Gomer, die Tochter Diblaims, die ward schwanger und gebar ihm einen Sohn.(dhs) Hos 1:3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:4 ============ Hos 1:4 And the Lord said to him, "Name him Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will punish the house of Jehu for the bloodshed of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.(nasb) Hos 1:4 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν κάλεσον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ιεζραελ διότι ἔτι μικρὸν καὶ ἐκδικήσω τὸ αἷμα τοῦ Ιεζραελ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον Ιου καὶ καταπαύσω βασιλείαν οἴκου Ισραηλ (lxx) Hos 1:4 Et dixit Dominus ad eum: Voca nomen ejus Jezrahel, quoniam adhuc modicum, et visitabo sanguinem Jezrahel super domum Jehu, et quiescere faciam regnum domus Israël.(vulgate) Hos 1:4 Und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Heiße ihn Jesreel; denn es ist noch um eine kleine Zeit, so will ich die Blutschulden in Jesreel heimsuchen über das Haus Jehu und will mit dem Königreich des Hauses Israel ein Ende machen.(dhs) Hos 1:4 Then the Lord said to him: "Call his name Jezreel, For in a little while I will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, And bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:5 ============ Hos 1:5 On that day I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel."(nasb) Hos 1:5 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ συντρίψω τὸ τόξον τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τοῦ Ιεζραελ (lxx) Hos 1:5 Et in illa die conteram arcum Israël in valle Jezrahel.(vulgate) Hos 1:5 Zur selben Zeit will ich den Bogen Israels zerbrechen im Tal Jesreel.(dhs) Hos 1:5 It shall come to pass in that day That I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel."(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:6 ============ Hos 1:6 Then she conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. And the Lord said to him, "Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel, that I would ever forgive them.(nasb) Hos 1:6 καὶ συνέλαβεν ἔτι καὶ ἔτεκεν θυγατέρα καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ κάλεσον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῆς Οὐκ-ἠλεημένη διότι οὐ μὴ προσθήσω ἔτι ἐλεῆσαι τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἀντιτασσόμενος ἀντιτάξομαι αὐτοῖς (lxx) Hos 1:6 Et concepit adhuc, et peperit filiam. Et dixit ei: Voca nomen ejus, Absque misericordia, quia non addam ultra misereri domui Israël, sed oblivione obliviscar eorum.(vulgate) Hos 1:6 Und sie ward abermals schwanger und gebar eine Tochter. Und er sprach zu ihm: Heiße sie Lo-Ruhama; denn ich will mich nicht mehr über das Haus Israel erbarmen, daß ich ihnen vergäbe.(dhs) Hos 1:6 And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him: "Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel, But I will utterly take them away.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:7 ============ Hos 1:7 But I will have compassion on the house of Judah and deliver them by the Lord their God, and will not deliver them by bow, sword, battle, horses or horsemen."(nasb) Hos 1:7 τοὺς δὲ υἱοὺς Ιουδα ἐλεήσω καὶ σώσω αὐτοὺς ἐν κυρίῳ θεῷ αὐτῶν καὶ οὐ σώσω αὐτοὺς ἐν τόξῳ οὐδὲ ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ οὐδὲ ἐν πολέμῳ οὐδὲ ἐν ἅρμασιν οὐδὲ ἐν ἵπποις οὐδὲ ἐν ἱππεῦσιν (lxx) Hos 1:7 Et domui Juda miserebor, et salvabo eos in Domino Deo suo; et non salvabo eos in arcu et gladio, et in bello, et in equis, et in equitibus.(vulgate) Hos 1:7 Doch will ich mich erbarmen über das Haus Juda und will ihnen helfen durch den HERRN, ihren Gott; ich will ihnen aber nicht helfen durch Bogen, Schwert, Streit, Rosse oder Reiter.(dhs) Hos 1:7 Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, Will save them by the Lord their God, And will not save them by bow, Nor by sword or battle, By horses or horsemen."(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:8 ============ Hos 1:8 When she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.(nasb) Hos 1:8 καὶ ἀπεγαλάκτισεν τὴν Οὐκ-ἠλεημένην καὶ συνέλαβεν ἔτι καὶ ἔτεκεν υἱόν (lxx) Hos 1:8 Et ablactavit eam quæ erat Absque misericordia. Et concepit, et peperit filium.(vulgate) Hos 1:8 Und da sie hatte Lo-Ruhama entwöhnt, ward sie wieder schwanger und gebar einen Sohn.(dhs) Hos 1:8 Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:9 ============ Hos 1:9 And the Lord said, "Name him Lo-ammi, for you are not My people and I am not your God."(nasb) Hos 1:9 καὶ εἶπεν κάλεσον τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Οὐ-λαόσ-μου διότι ὑμεῖς οὐ λαός μου καὶ ἐγὼ οὔκ εἰμι ὑμῶν (lxx) Hos 1:9 Et dixit: Voca nomen ejus, Non populus meus, quia vos non populus meus, et ego non ero vester.(vulgate) Hos 1:9 Und er sprach: Heiße ihn Lo-Ammi; denn ihr seid nicht mein Volk, so will ich auch nicht der Eure sein.(dhs) Hos 1:9 Then God said: "Call his name Lo-Ammi, For you are not My people, And I will not be your God.(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:10 ============ Hos 1:10 Yet the number of the sons of Israel Will be like the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered; And in the place Where it is said to them, "You are not My people," It will be said to them, "You are the sons of the living God."(nasb) Hos 1:10 καὶ ἦν ὁ ἀριθμὸς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τῆς θαλάσσης ἣ οὐκ ἐκμετρηθήσεται οὐδὲ ἐξαριθμηθήσεται καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ τόπῳ οὗ ἐρρέθη αὐτοῖς οὐ λαός μου ὑμεῖς ἐκεῖ κληθήσονται υἱοὶ θεοῦ ζῶντος (lxx) Hos 1:10 Et erit numerus filiorum Israël quasi arena maris, quæ sine mensura est, et non numerabitur. Et erit in loco ubi dicetur eis: Non populus meus vos: dicetur eis: Filii Dei viventis.(vulgate) Hos 1:10 Es wird aber die Zahl der Kinder in Israel sein wie der Sand am Meer, den man weder messen noch zählen kann. Und es soll geschehen an dem Ort, da man zu ihnen gesagt hat: "Ihr seid nicht mein Volk", wird man zu ihnen sagen: "O ihr Kinder des lebendigen Gottes!"(dhs) Hos 1:10 "Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, 'You are not My people,' There it shall be said to them, 'You are sons of the living God.'(nkjv) ======= Hosea 1:11 ============ Hos 1:11 And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together, And they will appoint for themselves one leader, And they will go up from the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel.(nasb) Hos 1:11 καὶ συναχθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ιουδα καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ θήσονται ἑαυτοῖς ἀρχὴν μίαν καὶ ἀναβήσονται ἐκ τῆς γῆς ὅτι μεγάλη ἡ ἡμέρα τοῦ Ιεζραελ (lxx) Hos 1:11 Et congregabuntur filii Juda et filii Israël pariter; et ponent sibimet caput unum, et ascendent de terra, quia magnus dies Jezrahel.(vulgate) Hos 1:11 Denn es werden die Kinder Juda und die Kinder Israel zuhauf kommen und werden sich miteinander an ein Haupt halten und aus dem Lande heraufziehen; denn der Tag Jesreels wird ein großer Tag sein.(dhs) Hos 1:11 Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel Shall be gathered together, And appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel!(nkjv) ======= Hosea 2:1 ============ top of the page
