Oportet enim episcopum sine crimine esse, sicut Dei dispensatorem: non superbum, non iracundum, non vinolentum, non percussorem, non turpis lucri cupidum:(vulgate) Tit 1:7 Denn ein Bischof soll Titus 1:9 ============ Tit 1:9 holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.(nasb) Tit 1:9 ἀντεχόμενον τοῦ κατὰ τὴν διδαχὴν πιστοῦ λόγου, ἵνα δυνατὸς ᾖ καὶ παρακαλεῖν ἐν τῇ διδασκαλίᾳ τῇ ὑγιαινούσῃ καὶ τοὺς ἀντιλέγοντας ἐλέγχειν.(Nestle-Aland) Tit 1:9 amplectentem seductores: maxime qui de circumcisione sunt:(vulgate) Tit 1:10 Denn es sind viel freche und unnütze Schwätzer und Verführer, sonderlich die aus den Juden,(dhs) Tit 1:10 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,(nkjv) ======= Titus 1:11 ============ Tit 1:11 who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain.(nasb) Tit 1:11 οὓς δεῖ ἐπιστομίζειν, οἵτινες ὅλους οἴκους ἀνατρέπουσιν διδάσκοντες ἃ μὴ δεῖ αἰσχροῦ κέρδους χάριν.(Nestle-Aland) Tit For this reason reprove them severely so that they may be sound in the faith,(nasb) Tit 1:13 ἡ μαρτυρία αὕτη ἐστὶν ἀληθής. δι᾽ ἣν αἰτίαν ἔλεγχε αὐτοὺς ἀποτόμως, ἵνα ὑγιαίνωσιν ἐν τῇ πίστει,(Nestle-Aland) Tit 1:13 Testimonium hoc verum est. Quam ob causam increpa illos dure, ut sani sint in fide,(vulgate) Tit 1:13 Dies Zeugnis ist wahr.
