These things are good and profitable for men.(nasb) Tit 3:8 πιστὸς ὁ λόγος, καὶ περὶ τούτων βούλομαί σε διαβεβαιοῦσθαι, ἵνα φροντίζωσιν καλῶν ἔργων προΐστασθαι οἱ πεπιστευκότες θεῶ. ταῦτά ἐστιν καλὰ καὶ ὠφέλιμα τοῖς ἀνθρώποις·(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:8 Fidelis sermo est: et de his volo te confirmare: ut curent bonis operibus præesse qui credunt Deo. Hæc sunt bona, et utilia hominibus.(vulgate) Tit 3:8 Das ist gewißlich wahr; solches will ich, daß du fest lehrest, auf daß die, so an Gott gläubig geworden sind, in einem Stand guter Werke gefunden werden. Solches ist gut und nütze den Menschen.(dhs) Tit 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:9 ============ Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.(nasb) Tit 3:9 μωρὰς δὲ ζητήσεις καὶ γενεαλογίας καὶ ἔρεις καὶ μάχας νομικὰς περιΐστασο, εἰσὶν γὰρ ἀνωφελεῖς καὶ μάταιοι.(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:9 Stultas autem quæstiones, et genealogias, et contentiones, et pugnas legis devita: sunt enim inutiles, et vanæ.(vulgate) Tit 3:9 Der törichten Fragen aber, der Geschlechtsregister, des Zankes und Streites über das Gesetz entschlage dich; denn sie sind unnütz und eitel.(dhs) Tit 3:9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:10 ============ Tit 3:10 Reject a factious man after a first and second warning,(nasb) Tit 3:10 αἱρετικὸν ἄνθρωπον μετὰ μίαν καὶ δευτέραν νουθεσίαν παραιτοῦ,(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:10 Hæreticum hominem post unam et secundam correptionem devita:(vulgate) Tit 3:10 Einen ketzerischen Menschen meide, wenn er einmal und abermals ermahnt ist,(dhs) Tit 3:10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition,(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:11 ============ Tit 3:11 knowing that such a man is perverted and is sinning, being self-condemned.(nasb) Tit 3:11 εἰδὼς ὅτι ἐξέστραπται ὁ τοιοῦτος καὶ ἁμαρτάνει, ὢν αὐτοκατάκριτος.(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:11 sciens quia subversus est, qui ejusmodi est, et delinquit, cum sit proprio judicio condemnatus.~(vulgate) Tit 3:11 und wisse, daß ein solcher verkehrt ist und sündigt, als der sich selbst verurteilt hat.(dhs) Tit 3:11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:12 ============ Tit 3:12 When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, make every effort to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.(nasb) Tit 3:12 ὅταν πέμψω ἀρτεμᾶν πρὸς σὲ ἢ τυχικόν, σπούδασον ἐλθεῖν πρός με εἰς νικόπολιν, ἐκεῖ γὰρ κέκρικα παραχειμάσαι.(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:12 Cum misero ad te Artemam, aut Tychicum, festina ad me venire Nicopolim: ibi enim statui hiemare.(vulgate) Tit 3:12 Wenn ich zu dir senden werde Artemas oder Tychikus, so komm eilend zu mir gen Nikopolis; denn daselbst habe ich beschlossen den Winter zu bleiben.(dhs) Tit 3:12 When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:13 ============ Tit 3:13 Diligently help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way so that nothing is lacking for them.(nasb) Tit 3:13 ζηνᾶν τὸν νομικὸν καὶ ἀπολλῶν σπουδαίως πρόπεμψον, ἵνα μηδὲν αὐτοῖς λείπῃ.(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:13 Zenam legisperitum et Apollo sollicite præmitte, ut nihil illis desit.(vulgate) Tit 3:13 Zenas, den Schriftgelehrten, und Apollos fertige ab mit Fleiß, auf daß ihnen nichts gebreche.(dhs) Tit 3:13 Send Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey with haste, that they may lack nothing.(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:14 ============ Tit 3:14 Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.(nasb) Tit 3:14 μανθανέτωσαν δὲ καὶ οἱ ἡμέτεροι καλῶν ἔργων προΐστασθαι εἰς τὰς ἀναγκαίας χρείας, ἵνα μὴ ὦσιν ἄκαρποι.(Nestle-Aland) Tit 3:14 Discant autem et nostri bonis operibus præesse ad usus necessarios: ut non sint infructuosi.(vulgate) Tit 3:14 Laß aber auch die Unsern lernen, daß sie im Stand guter Werke sich finden lassen, wo man ihrer bedarf, auf daß sie nicht unfruchtbar seien.(dhs) Tit 3:14 And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful.(nkjv) ======= Titus 3:15 ============ Tit 3:15 All who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in the faith.
